Disputed non-free use rationale for File:KSCR.png
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:KSCR.png ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-disputed fair use rationale-notice --> -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:06, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Proposed deletion ↗ of :WFOX-LP ↗
left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗
The article :WFOX-LP ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''The station fails the general notability guideline ↗, which requires coverage in independent, reliable sources and not merely database entries and reports of FCC actions. A source search including under the former call sign did not indicate enough independent, reliable sources existed to justify an article. This can be redirected to the state list of radio stations.'''</blockquote>
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. :These two proposed deletions have the same root cause, and I'd like to explain it to you since it seems you've been around for a few years and like to edit articles on radio stations.
:It used to be that broadcasting and having an FCC license was deemed sufficient to prove notability for a radio station on Wikipedia. In a 2021 proceeding, this was pretty soundly rejected, and since then the general notability guideline or GNG has been the benchmark for radio stations. Many LPFMs struggle to get the notability required to have articles, and because there is less local journalism than there used to be, it can sometimes be nearly impossible to find appropriate sources.
:I also would like to ask you if you've been using AI to generate copy, having read the articles you wrote. This is now generally prohibited on Wikipedia ↗ because of the high error rate in AI-generated text. <span style="color:#ba4168">Sammi Brie</span> (she/her · t · c ↗) 06:15, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
