Hello RandomPerson238. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace ↗ useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox ↗. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal ↗ when they've been previously warned. Thank you.<!-- Template:Uw-warn --> <span style="color: blue">Lynch</span><span style="color:#FFD700">44</span> 22:06, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

Baldi's Basics reverted edit
Hello! I'm new here, so obviously you know more than me. However, I was just wondering, why did you revert the edits I made on the Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning Page? (correcting characters names Bully --> It's a Bully, Principal --> Principal of the Thing)
(You mentioned it as "unconstructive", so could you also just tell me what that means specifically? Thanks!) Cheesybear1337 (talk) 01:09, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
:As always, I make mistakes all the time. I think that you should be right in this case after I looked into this a little more. (The rest of the article did not have these names, neither did the sources, but other places seem to agree with you). Sorry for reverting your edit. (In general, "unconstructive" means the editor thinks it's not helpful, but is not qualify as vandalism). Rollback granted
right|130px ↗
Hi RandomPerson238. After reviewing your request, I have <span class="plainlinks">enabled ↗</span> '''rollback ↗''' on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle ↗ or Ultraviolet ↗. It just adds a ''[rollback]'' button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert <em>clear and unambiguous cases</em> of vandalism {{emu|only}}. <em>Never</em> use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see {{section link|Wikipedia:Rollback|When to use rollback}}.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war ↗, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, <strong>''ask!''</strong>

Question from Eeeyorelore (21:53, 18 May 2026)
Hi, nice to meet you! Can I make minor edits to articles without asking anyone? --Eeeyorelore (talk) 21:53, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
:@Eeeyorelore Welcome to Wikipedia, and yes, you can, and definitely should. Fixes such as spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, and minor changes can be marked as minor and done without asking. Even when not minor, if an edit seems useful to you, you should do it without asking. Your first edit was great, and you should keep doing things like that. :::Also, what do I do if I find a source on Wikipedia that is not up to whatever snuff there is? Eeeyorelore (talk) 05:09, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Sources that are secondary and are peer-reviewed are generally reliable. With that said, not all reliable sources meet those requirements. If a source is self-published, then it is probably not reliable. Not all sources have to be very reliable to be included, though. There are many cases where less reliable sources can be used without issue. '''<span style="color:red">Random</span><span style="color:green">Person</span>238 ↗''' 05:26, 3 June 2026 (UTC)

Question from Ashkanalrz (16:36, 3 June 2026)

I am an employee of Parsvisa Canadian Immigration Consulting Inc., and I want to create a page for our business on Wikipedia. How can I do it?
Thank you --Ashkanalrz (talk) 16:36, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
:Doing this is strongly discouraged, but it's still possible. You'll have to find reliable, independent sources and declare your paid relation. It's recommended that you use the Article Wizard ↗ and read the Plain and simple conflict of interest guide ↗ to know the policies around this. Question from V00tesaxon (16:34, 5 June 2026)
Hello, I'm new to editing Wikipedia and got a few questions — firstly, at what level can I start adding foreign language versions to existing pages?
Secondly, what is considered a fine source? When citing (specifically TV or related topics), can you add links from IMDb, or fan-made sites, or just Wiki fandom pages? If not, where to find information on basic things?
Thank you very much in advance, I hope you respond. --V00tesaxon (talk) 16:34, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
:Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for your recent edits. I hope you will stay around!
:First, if you mean translations, then you can start at any time. If you want to translate an article from English to another language, that translation will belong on the other Wikipedia's pages, not the English one. You'll have to ask on their Wikipedia for guideline or requirements. If you want to translate from another language to English, the easiest way is to use the WP:Content translation tool ↗. However, as you are not extended confirmed ↗, you'll be restricted to creating pages in your user space. Alternatively, you can create a draft without the tool and make translations. There is a help page Help:Translation ↗ for more information.
:For sources, the main rule is that it should be reliable and independent. Self-published sources like fan-made sites or Wiki fandom pages or IMDb ↗ are definitely not reliable. (See WP:USERGENERATED ↗) Particularly, there is consensus not to use Fandom (WP:FANDOM ↗) or IMDb (WP:IMDB ↗) in articles. Instead, you should look for things like manuals if there are, interviews, news articles, and other more reliable sources.
:I hope this helped. If you have any questions, please let me know. '''<span style="color:red">Random</span><span style="color:green">Person</span>238 ↗''' 18:55, 5 June 2026 (UTC)

Question from Ott883 (08:47, 13 June 2026)
Hi, I'm unsure how the reflist template works. Does it fill out automatically when I make a reference or do I have to do it manually every time?
If I have to fill it out manually every time, I prefer the visual editor, so how does that work? --Ott883 (talk) 08:47, 13 June 2026 (UTC)
:@Ott883 The reflist automatically updates when a new <code><nowiki><ref></nowiki></code> tag is added. In the visual editor, there is a reference button to add such a citation. There is no need to edit the template manually. '''<span style="color:red">Random</span><span style="color:green">Person</span>238 ↗''' 18:05, 13 June 2026 (UTC)

:Welcome to Wikipedia! Making a new article is pretty difficult, and it is generally encouraged to have experience already before doing so. With that said, H:YFA ↗ has much more information. But in short, the subject must be notable ↗. If it is, it is recommended that you write about a topic that is not connected to you ↗. Question from HamadaEzzeldinFares (22:49, 25 June 2026)
{{cait}}
Dear Wikipedia Editors,
I am writing to formally request the creation and review of a biographical article for Hamada Ezzeldin Fares, a musical artist known for his contributions to contemporary music, specifically within the Badini Kurdish dialect.
I believe this subject meets Wikipedia's "Notability" guidelines for musicians and public figures, as evidenced by significant coverage in reputable third-party news outlets. My career has been documented by established media organizations, including Al-Ahram, Akhbar El-Yom, and Cairo 24, among others. These sources provide independent, reliable, and verifiable information regarding my artistic activities and professional presence.
I understand the importance of neutral point of view (NPOV) and the prevention of self-promotion on Wikipedia. Therefore, I am prepared to provide all relevant, objective press links and documentation to ensure that any content created is entirely factual, encyclopedic, and adheres strictly to Wikipedia’s policies.
I kindly request your guidance or assistance in establishing a neutral article that accurately reflects my professional background. Thank you for your time and for maintaining the integrity of the platform.
Best regards,
Hamada Ezzeldin Fares --

Replacing old bio with new per band and management request.
I am working with a German/British band maned LAKE. They have a new deal with The Orchard in Europe and have a new release (LAKE 4)which has entered charts in Europe. Due to a very outdated bio on Wikipedia in the U.S., they have asked me to see if I can replace the previous bio with their new one which was written specifically for Wikipedia, formatted with History and Reunion sections as well as studio albums. Can I just replace the present article? Would it make more sense to create a new page for the new release? What credentials do I need to show and how do I do that? DonaSpangler (talk) 02:57, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
:Hello, @DonaSpangler, and welcome to Wikipedia. In this case, this is considered paid editing. Thus, the best way to do this is for you to disclose that you have a conflict of interest, and make an edit request on the talk page. (See WP:EDITCOI ↗) Editing the page directly is strongly discouraged.
:Here are some things that you should remember when writing a new version:
:* It should be neutral ↗ in perspective and not biased.
:* It should be supported by reliable sources ↗ that are independent of the source.
