Question from Zalacainadvent (21:44, 3 July 2026)
At this point I was interested in printing out excerpts from certain articles like Euler’s Product Formula so I can study them — I’m not planning to edit anything right now. To print something do you just select and copy or is there an internal function for that? --Zalacainadvent (talk) 21:44, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
:Hi {{ping|Zalacainadvent|p=}} and sorry for the wait. Personally, I have never tried printing an article out, and I am unfortunately confined to editing from mobile for a while, so I can't test it out. However, the page Help:Printing ↗ may provide the answer to your question, but if you need some more specific guidance beyond that, I recommend asking at our Teahouse ↗, a forum for new users. Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any further questions! <span style="border-radius:3em;padding:5px;background:#483D8B;">'''<span style="color:white">Rela</span>'''<span style="color:white">tivity ⚡️</span></span> 19:41, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
Question from Treeblah (22:50, 4 July 2026)
Hello! I have a mentorship question for you.
I stumbled upon a rather strange page in my editing tutorials: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_interface_modeling. There are quite a few problems:
1. The references are formatted strangely, I'm unsure if this is an accepted format but I'd wager not
2. Several of the references are dead links
3. Much of the page seems to be outdated info (I couldn't find any references on the web to DiaMODL or Himalia)
What's your recommendation for handling this page? --Treeblah (talk) 22:50, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
:Hello {{ping|Treeblah|p=}} and welcome to Wikipedia! This is a difficult article to work with because, as you have pointed out, it has some major issues. The first thing I would probably do would be to convert the references into the Wikipedia style (you can take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources ↗ for how to properly do that). Then I'd try to fix the dead links by following the instructions at Wikipedia:Link rot ↗, if possible. After that, I would try to find sources for the rest of the uncited information, and then if I can't find a source for a piece of information, I'd either add Template:Citation needed ↗ to it or remove it altogether (depending how long that information's been on the article). I'd also add Template:Update inline ↗ next to information that needs updating, if I can't find a way to update it myself, which I would do my best to do before tagging anything. All in all, it's a difficult task, but not impossible, and it would greatly improve the article and be appreciated if you're able to tackle it! <span style="border-radius:3em;padding:5px;background:#483D8B;">'''<span style="color:white">Rela</span>'''<span style="color:white">tivity ⚡️</span></span> 20:03, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
