Please stop doing perpetrator->event article scope moves without an RM

Article moves that change the scope of an article are definitionally controversial moves, especially ones that have been at these titles for ''years''. Do requested moves and do not remove them unilaterally. Per WP:RM ↗ specifies this is for ''uncontroversial moves'', these are almost always controversial, especially ones that you were involved with that came to no consensus to move. Pozzetto massacre

I can't thank you enough for adding so much to that article. I feel like information on niche topics like these is scarce so I always appreciate it when I see someone contributing. Keep up the good work. Acoolusername2025 (talk) 08:25, 27 November 2025 (UTC)

Huge thanks

I just wanted to thank you massively for your amazing contributions to the William Unek ↗ article. A simple automatic "Thanks" message wouldn't suffice, so I leave a message on your talk page as well for your huge, ''huge'' contributions to the article. I always expected it to stay as a long-forgotten shrub on the depths of spree killer Wikipedia. By the way, is there any way to search the East African Standard newspaper online? I want to see that supposed photo of Wiliam for myself if it's possible. CornyDude22 (talk) 19:47, 2 December 2025 (UTC)

Hey, I appreciate the thanks. The newspaper is available through the Kenyan national archives. I'm not sure about putting in direct links, but the prints are available through any major Kenyan university's public research archive. I'll put the pic in once I get past the extraction process

:Every time I check back on the article, you seem to have added another huge piece of information. I managed to find myself a PDF archive of the EAT and even found William's real name on them, but I'll give you the honors of eventually adding that in since it wouldn't have been possible without you. Thanks again. CornyDude22 (talk) 22:58, 7 December 2025 (UTC)

:I almost forgot about the name. I wanted to match it with some French/Belgian newspapers to make sure it was the real deal. Thanks for the reminder and the consideration. If you're interested, BelgicaPress might have more, though I could only find three articles. I'm hoping to find a report directly after Mahagi either there or the East African Standard. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Before adding a category to an article, as you did to :Nabwana I.G.G. ↗, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines ↗. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable ↗ content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Chandler

Your edits at Oba Chandler ↗ are appreciated. But I do suggest that you find additional sourcing to the many new claims that has been added. Especially since the article is of Good article-status. Regards.--BabbaQ (talk) 18:36, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

Ideas

Impressive work on your continued efforts to flesh out crime-related articles. I had a couple of ideas for some articles you could take a look at and see what you can to do bring them up to higher quality. If that does not interest you, I understand. Paleface Jack (talk) 18:14, 8 March 2026 (UTC)

:Sure, I'd be glad to contribute some more. I see you've been invested in the topic as well. I don't really go out actively looking for articles that need more sourcing or content, but I wouldn't mind getting some suggestions for where it's needed. Just tell me your ideas and I'll see what I can do. Thanks for reaching out. Rubintyrann (talk) 15:55, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
{{re|Rubintyrann}} I am the same way, lately been adding bibliographies to articles while working on two major ones (Stephen D. Richards and Jesse Pomeroy). Anyways, one suggestion is the soviet serial killer Nikolai Dzhumagaliev ↗, also known as the Metal Fang. Quite a fascinating subject whose article is a complete mess of words and lack of sourcing. It presents itself as a challenge to get it up to what it should be.--Paleface Jack (talk) 16:21, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

:Found a couple sources on Dzhumagaliev:
