Mykola Vilinsky ↗

Hi. I had to re-update the Vilinsky page for WP:MOS ↗ as well as English syntax and grammar, not content. Please review before automatically rv. Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 00:24, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

O. Bilash

Ok, I'll take your word for it. I've removed the Russian tag (some of these tags are semi-automated anyway). Good luck with your article, sounds like an interesting fellow. Cheers! --Seduisant (talk) 02:22, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Wiki Project Composers

Hi again ... in developing your article, you may wish to consult Wikipedia:WikiProject_Composers#Article_structure ↗ which looks very helpful. If you have a (non-copyrighted) photo of O.B., you can add it to the Infobox ↗. Cheers again. --Seduisant (talk) 02:55, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Witold Maliszewski ↗

I think just the very brief one I linked to that mentioned the fantasia (though I have seen it mentioned elsewhere- there's another mention here ↗ that includes instrumentation...)? ... RMF Classic ↗ - may be more.

N. Slonimsky puts in a cautionary note that I can only read a bit of in snippet view in Google books, but it reminds me of other troubles I've had with composer identification in preparing lists of works, so... erm... erm. Quoting: "Vitold Malishefsky and Witold Maliszewski, born in the same Russian town two months apart in 1873 and"...

Eep. (As if attributing a work by "James H. Rogers" properly to James Henderson Rogers or James Hotchkiss Rogers, or a work by R. Radecke to Robert or Rudolf Radecke, mightn't sometimes be enough trouble. I am only slightly joking but actually- not. But that's not what you asked about. No, I don't know where a comprehensive list of Maliszewski's works can be found- I can only recommend drawing one up manually using Worldcat, Hofmeisters Monatsberichte, Pazdirek, and thelike, and being oiii careful about possible misattributions, as ever. ) Schissel | Sound the Note! ↗ 01:51, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
:Thank you! I hope it will help me. Do you know Polish? Semimartingale (talk) 22:37, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
Apologies for very late reply. No, alas I do not- English, a little French and German, with anything else I try to find tools and be aware of my and their limitations. Schissel | Sound the Note! ↗ 02:38, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Category:Jurors of the International Chopin Competition

Well, I suppose not all share my passion for observing the world of competitions. For me the category was quite useful and presented a hundred-years-long history of pianists, from Ravel to Argerich. But if wikipedians say we don't need such a category, I can do nothing but agree. Greetings Gregory of Nyssa (talk) 23:18, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
