Just an FYI

I actually meant not to sign my RfC. The instructions said you can do the usual four tildes, or five to just show the date. I suppose it doesn't matter much.

As for the number of sources I gave, I did that because another editor keeps asking for more. For that reason, I listed plenty, though some are higher quality than others. I think it shows that the term/topic is widely discussed by a variety of persons. Maybe I could sort the lower quality ones to the bottom of the list. Lightbreather (talk) 07:44, 3 July 2026 (UTC)

:I was unaware an RfC could be unsigned. Feel free to revert that - although I do think it is helpful to see who has started the RfC. As for the number of sources: you will weaken your case if you include sources that can easily be attacked. People will attack those ones and ignore better ones. Can I please have your help with the appeal to my circumcision block

Dear Sirfurboy,

I was blocked a couple of years ago for trying to pare back the POV edits from Klaycax, someone who was abusing socks to make major edits to the page, edits that are stuck on the page to this day. The TLDR is that Klaycax made a reddit post on r/intactivism asking intactavists to jump in on the wiki, blamed us for canvassing, and when I called out that he orchestrated the drama, I was blamed for WP:OUTING ↗. Note that the policy at the time didn't mention social media posts. Like is calling out a reddit account trying to stir up drama the same as posting a LinkedIn page?
Anyhow, the past few years have demonstrated that Klaycax abused socks ridiculously often. And used the same "canvassing" tale to do edit warring multiple times.
Admins are unwilling to admit their mistake. I think the only way for them to reconsider their mistake is to bring other eyes on this situation. All I'd like to do is to restore the malicious edits from sockpuppetry.
