1930 World Cup

Please can you comment on on the talk page before making any more changes about the 3rd/4th place issue. To list Yugoslavia as 3rd in a section entitled "FIFA retrospective ranking" makes no sense when FIFA ranks Yugoslavia 4th. Oldelpaso (talk) 20:24, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
:I suppose what I'd be most interested in is any material that's not covered in the article already. For instance, a source currently cited in the article says there was no 3rd/4th match because Yugoslavia were upset with the refereeing in their semi-final. Is this what the ''Politika'' piece says? If it says something different, than that would be useful to have. Oldelpaso (talk) 22:27, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion ↗ of Tatjana Pašić ↗

left|link=|48px| ↗

The article Tatjana Pašić ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32; because of the following concern:
:'''No evidence of satisfying either WP:GNG ↗ or WP:POLITICIAN ↗.'''

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> JamesBWatson (talk) 21:08, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Re: Ne menjaj bez razloga

--Sundostund (talk) 23:58, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
--Sundostund (talk) 12:23, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
--Sundostund (talk) 15:14, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
:::::::::Zahvaljujem :) Opet kazem, ako uocis bilo kakav nedostatak, slobodno ga ispravi. --Sundostund (talk) 20:23, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

--Sundostund (talk) 16:36, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Nacelnici Generalstaba Vojske Crne Gore

Zdravo jos jednom! Evo, napravio sam clanak o crnogorskim nacelnicima - Chief of the General Staff (Montenegro) ↗. --Sundostund (talk) 15:28, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Dear fellow Wikipedian,

The LA Wikipedia community has three events in mid-February -- please consider attending!

First, we have a Valentine's Day edit-a-thon appropriately named '''Redondo Loves Wikipedia ↗''', which will take place at the Redondo Beach Public Library from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, February 14. Join library staff, the Redondo Beach Historical Society, and others to help improve Wikipedia's coverage of Redondo Beach!

Second, we have a '''Wik-Ed Women editing session ↗''' on Tuesday, February 17 from 6pm to 10pm at the Los Angeles Contemporary Archive downtown. This series of informal get-togethers is designed to encourage Los Angeles women-in-the-arts (though all are welcome!) to contribute their expertise to Wikipedia, specifically expanding content about women artists.

Third, we have an '''Unforgetting LA ↗''' event put on by East of Borneo in collaboration with the Getty Research Institute ↗. Come help improve Wikipedia's coverage of LA design and architecture, and have an awesome free day at the museum -- parking will be validated for edit-a-thon participants! If you'd like to use particular books from GRI's great collection, be sure to email before 2/13 (instructions at event page).

And be sure to check out our main meetup page ↗, because we already have three SoCal events scheduled for early March!

Dear fellow Wikipedian,

I would like to personally invite you to the March edition of the Wik-Ed Women meetup ↗, which will take place on March 15, from 6-10 in the evening. It will occur at Los Angeles Contemporary Archive, 2245 E Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90021 (downtown LA -- map ↗). The building has a pink top with old signage for American Accessories, Inc. dba Princess Accessories (Photos ↗ <small>[PDF]</small>). There is on-site parking in the back, which also has an entrance. If you cannot attend in person, you are more than willing to work remotely, as we appreciate all help that you can provide. Finally, here is a link ↗ to the Facebook event, in case you want to invite friends, as we are always looking for new editors to help expand coverage of women on Wikipedia!

I hope to see you there! Cosmicphantom (talk) - via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 05:55, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

There is a topic on the talk page to determine consensus. Stop removing the information without consensus, you are not the only one who decides what his page says. He has stated multiple times he will use Trump Tower as a second residence while he is President. White House is official, but he is still using Trump Tower. The file :File:Sakugawa.jpg ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>unused, low-res, no obvious use</blockquote>

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the file's talk page ↗.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify -->

<span style="color:red;font-weight:bold;">This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history ↗ of each individual file for details.</span> Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes ↗, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons ↗ in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America ↗, the Confederate States ↗, the Republic of Texas ↗, multiple states and territories ↗, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics ↗ will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest ↗. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects ↗. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards ↗. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki ↗ or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate ↗.

I often find it daunting to approach the Big Subjects on my own—so if you, like me, want a time to sit down with fellow dedicated editors and tackle something important and complex, this is the zoom for you! Custom signature fix needed

Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Changes to Wikipedia's software ↗ have made your current custom signature invalid.

'''The problem:''' Your signature contains a syntax error or obsolete HTML tags.

'''The solutions:''' You can reset your signature to the default, you can fix your signature, or you can do nothing.

<div style="margin-left:1.6em;">
'''Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:'''
# Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences ↗.
# Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "'''Treat the above as wiki markup.'''"
# Remove anything in the {{int:yournick}} text box.
# Click the blue "{{int:Saveprefs}}" button at the bottom of the page. (Do not click the red "{{int:Restoreprefs}}" button, which will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
'''Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:'''
# Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences ↗.
# Click the {{mw button|Learn more|normal}} button next to the error to learn how to fix the error.
# Update your signature to fix the error.
# Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.
'''Solution 3: Do nothing:'''
# In accordance with a recent request for comment ↗, all invalid signatures will be changed to the default ↗, which looks like "Example&nbsp;(talk)", one month from now.</div> If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures ↗. The World Destubathon ↗

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 18:15, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
