Your draft article, Draft:Magic: The Gathering core sets, 2018–2024 ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

Hello, Snugglebuns. This message concerns the Articles for Creation ↗ submission or draft ↗ page you started, "Magic: The Gathering core sets ↗".

Drafts that go unedited for six months are eligible for deletion, in accordance with our draftspace policy ↗, and this one has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:Magic: The Gathering core sets, 2018–2024|edit the submission}}, and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can '''request its undeletion''' ↗. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! <!-- Template:Db-draft-notice --> DreamRimmer bot II (talk) 21:27, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

Comments on my draft article

Hi, I have been informed that you are my new mentor. My draft article Dillon DeCoteau has been declined 3 times for various reasons. The last rejection appears to relate to lack of independent sources and/or notability. I am thinking about just letting it get deleted, but decided to make a few edits to it based on the comments I received and wondered if you think the changes I made could possibly make a difference or whether maybe Wikitia might be the better platform for my article. Your thoughts are appreciated. Dillon DeCoteau (talk) 12:31, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

'''Backlog update'''

At the time of this message, there are 15,282 articles and 32,951 redirects awaiting review.

After the January–February drive the article backlog was reduced to 15,179 articles and the redirect backlog to 19,053 respectively. Great job! However, both queues are growing rapidly and any additional reviews are highly appreciated.

'''2024 and 2025 NPP Awards'''

74px|left ↗{{no ping|JTtheOG}} was selected as the NPP reviewer of the year for both 2024 and 2025, for reviewing the most articles amongst all reviewers.
{{no ping|Hey man im josh}} and {{no ping|MPGuy2824}} won the Redirect Ninja Master Award for 2024 and 2025 respectively, for reviewing the most redirects.

Overall in 2024, one Platinum, two Gold, eight Silver, 12 Bronze and 45 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 66 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. In 2025, one Platinum, ten Silver, 13 Bronze and 38 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 38 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year.

{{no ping|BoyTheKingCanDance}}, {{no ping|Rosiestep}}, {{no ping|SunDawn}}, and {{no ping|Vanderwaalforces}} were inducted into the NPP Hall of Fame ↗ for having two separate years of 2,000+ article reviews.

'''May backlog drive'''

An article-only backlog drive is currently underway. We are hoping to make a big dent in the backlog. You can read more about it or join at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Backlog drives/May 2026 ↗.

'''PageTriage'''

An attempt was made to get the New Pages Feed ↗ to sort by date marked as reviewed instead of date created. However we had to revert it due to bugs. We may try again in the future. You can subscribe to the Phabricator ticket ↗ if you're interested in following along.

WP:MAY26 ↗ re-reviews

Hey, congratulations on making NPP. Two quick notes about your recent reviews:
~ <span style="color: #CC5500;">A412</span> talk! 06:23, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
:Thanks for the re-reviews! So I went back and forth on Freeduhm, it felt like it could maybe eek by. I should've sent it to AFD, especially since I agree with it being deleted. There are still some times where I'm not sure where the line is if that makes sense.
:For the Longwood article, I added the No significant coverage because it seemed to me to be the most correct tag, and since it falls under WP:NSETTLEMENT ↗ I didn't think it was a good candidate for AFD. Although maybe it could have been draftified. There may be a better tag for it though, maybe just {{tl|more references}}?
:I am learning that I need to be a little less gun-shy about sending articles to AFD. Thanks! <span style="color:#36c;">Snuggle</span><span style="color:#36c;">📫</span> 08:18, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
::{{tq|A little less gun-shy}} - you'll learn the best course of action over time! I would say the tip for now, for articles you're relatively sure about is to consider WP:PROD ↗ and WP:BLAR ↗, as AfD can be heavyweight. ~ <span style="color: #CC5500;">A412</span> talk! 04:59, 22 May 2026 (UTC)

Question from Government26 (01:50, 28 May 2026)

I created an article, made the basics, but it is being ND (nominated for deletion). I put the sources in my best effort. What should I do? --Government26 (talk) 01:50, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
:Since the article went to articles for deletion ↗, we as editors get to vote on it now. It's always good to go check what is stated as the reason that it should be deleted and work on that aspect of the article. The goal of AFD isn't necessarily to delete articles, it's to improve the overall quality of Wikipedia. So that could be deleting the article, but it could also mean improving the article. It looks like right now the consensus is leaning towards keeping the article but it wouldn't hurt to add a bit more secondary sources. If you use the search links from the AFD notification box there may be some sources that you overlooked while making the article. <span style="color:#36c;">Snuggle</span><span style="color:#36c;">📫</span> 06:07, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
:I went ahead and cleaned up the prose a bit, it could still use a more thorough clean up and would benefit from someone verifying all of the sources that have been added since it was nominated. I think it is likely to be kept at this point. <span style="color:#36c;">Snuggle</span><span style="color:#36c;">📫</span> 07:05, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

Question from CursorTrifecta (19:10, 10 June 2026)

Hello, my company has transitioned into a new positioning of our brand and would like to update our Wikipedia page to be more accurate. How can i submit my revisions for review to be published? Thank you! --CursorTrifecta (talk) 19:10, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
:Hi {{yo|CursorTrifecta}} The best way to have a page updated is to submit an edit request ↗. The instructions for how to prepare the request and how to make the request are all on that page. It can take some time for the request to be answered, but that is the most correct way to have the page updated when the requester has a conflict of interest ↗. Another option is to post on the reward board ↗, but again, it can take some time for an editor to take the request. If you have any other questions, let me know! <span style="color:#36c;">Snuggle</span><span style="color:#36c;">📫</span> 19:17, 10 June 2026 (UTC)

Question from CharlesProvost (22:14, 20 June 2026)

Hello. I am happy to have a mentor😀 My first interest is to make substantial input for Zotique Mageau current profile, my grandfather.

I recently stumbled on his new Grokipedia profile and was actually shocked and impressed how accurate some of the in depth analysis of his work was on the mark. All their sources are good (for once…). But they made a few small mistakes and many omissions since they did not have access to private material. But don’t ask me why Elon’s Grok did such a long piece on my grandpa?

Having done extensive genealogy work as well as research on his public work, I have a lot of original, valuable and verified info.

One of your experienced and regular contributor at BAnQ in Montreal suggested I prepare a draft on line instead of imputing changes one at a time. Is it the good approach?

Can I quote FamilySearch profiles or attached documents as validation for some events? I have placed différents documents and photos as well as other person.

Also, I am completing a sort of genealogy essay 2.0 about the Mageau family history. Most probably published with a ISBN. Can I quote myself?

Lastly, in his political career as MPP, Zotique made some important public addresses (ten pages each) that are in two archive files at the University of Ottawa. I have the written permission to quote and anyway, the legal 75 years delay after death is over and if there were any residual author’s right, they would be mine! I would of course double validate. Those documents are only in paper form so I can’t put a link. How long could I quote? Or could I annex scans?

Since Zotique was a proud canadien-français and has defended Franco right in Ontario, I was planning to only input in French to start. It’s ok? --CharlesProvost (talk) 22:15, 20 June 2026 (UTC)

:{{yo|CharlesProvost}} {{tpw}} Hello! I'm not Snugglebuns, but I'm their mentor. Apologies for the late response. To answer your questions:
:1. We have no relation to Grokipedia ↗ whatsoever, other than being the initial source of much of their content, so you'd need to ask them about any inaccuracies. There's simply nothing we can do about it here.
:2. The sources you use need to be verifiable ↗. On Wikipedia, that is defined as {{green|Wikipedia's content is determined by published information rather than editors' beliefs, experiences, or previously unpublished ideas or information. Even if you are sure something is true, it must have been published in a reliable source before you can add it.}} So unless the research on your grandfather was previously published in a reliable source ↗, you cannot use it for an article.
:3. Yes, you can prepare changes in a draft ↗, see the linked page on how to do that.
:4. See here ↗ for the guidelines on citing self-published works
:5. You can cite the addresses themselves without putting a link, like what is done for books. See here ↗ for instructions on how to cite offline sources.
:6. The English Wikipedia only accepts text written in the English language, so you'd need to start in English, per this guideline ↗. If you would like to write in French, the French Wikipedia ↗ might be a better fit.
:If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask! Happy editing!
:Best regards,
:Grumpylawnchair (talk) 18:16, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::Thank you very much. Based on your detailed comments, I will start with a draft in French till it’s complete and then translate it English. I will come back to you for support before going on line. &#126;2026-36491-59 ↗ (talk) 18:48, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

Question from Toca Boca Team (14:55, 23 June 2026)

Thank you!! --Toca Boca Team (talk) 14:55, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:Hi {{yo|Toca Boca Team}} I took a look at the Toca Boca ↗ article and the only vandalism that I see has been corrected. Could you point me towards what you are considering vandalism? I would be happy to check the edit or fix the vandalism.
:If you are just wanting to update the page, the best way to have a page updated is to submit an edit request ↗. The instructions for how to prepare the request and how to make the request are all on that page. It can take some time for the request to be answered, but that is the most correct way to have the page updated when the requester has a conflict of interest ↗. You're invited to the Mentorship noticeboard

Hi, Snugglebuns. You are cordially invited to the brand new Wikipedia:Mentorship noticeboard ↗! I get the impression that we mentors are each toiling in our own cubbyhole or hamster wheel, as the case may be, quietly answering mentee questions with little to no interaction with other mentors. Question from ARandomUser3842 (06:00, 9 July 2026)

How do I create a article? --ARandomUser3842 (talk) 06:00, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
:Hi {{yo|ARandomUser3842}} We typically don't recommend that new editors start with creating an article because it is one of the more difficult tasks that we can do but if we don't have a page for a certain topic that deserves to have one based on its notability ↗ then you can follow the instructions in this help article ↗ that explains the steps to creating your first article. <span style="color:#36c;">Snuggle</span><span style="color:#36c;">📫</span> 08:14, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
