Portals and transclusion
Portal:Free and open-source software/Did you know ↗ is updated by a bot. User:JL-Bot will pull content from the article's talk page. So if you need to update a link or fix a typo or anything like that, it makes more sense to do so at Talk:Delta (emulator) ↗. Otherwise the bot will wipe the changes away at the next update. Portals in general do a lot of automation and transclusion and are more complicated that nearly any regular article. <span style="font-variant:small-caps;">Rjjiii</span> (talk) 05:26, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

Fanfix, assistance requested
Pleasure to meet you, {{u|Spiral6800}}. I am the declared COI editor ↗ for Fanfix ↗. I noted your participation in Project Software ↗ and Project Computing ↗ and hope you'd be willing to implement the edit request I posted ↗ with additions and changes to be made to the Fanfix article. If you prefer, I can make these modifications myself with your approval. Looking forward to hearing from you, Bluecenter2020 (talk) 21:41, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
:Hi Bluecenter2020,
:Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I reviewed your proposed changes and don't see any issues. You stuck to WP:NPOV and used reliable sources, and I don't see anything biased or controversial about your edits. Splitting the History and operations section makes sense, but I think the newly added content about the acquisition should be located in the history section, not operations. You can go ahead and make the edits.
:Thank you for your contribution and have a nice day! — <code><span style="color: black;" class=skin-invert>Spiral6800</span></code> <small style="color: #BFBFBF; background:#F5F5F5; border: 2px solid; border-radius: 4px; padding: 0 4px" class=skin-invert><span style="color: black">talk</span></small> <small style="color: #BFBFBF; background: #F5F5F5; border: 2px solid; border-radius: 4px; padding: 0 4px" class=skin-invert><span style="color: black;">contributions</span> ↗</small> • 17:34, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
::Thanks for getting back to me, {{u|Spiral6800}}. A different editor got to this, but they didn't split the sections. Now that they are involved, I'm not sure I should do that myself. Would you mind taking care of that, please? Thanks again, Bluecenter2020 (talk) 14:11, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
