25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm PEIsquirrel. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person{{spaces|1}}on :Neo-nationalism ↗, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source ↗. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people ↗, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thank you! <!-- Template:uw-biog1 --> Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts ↗) 12:32, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

Just to be clear, our biography on the person you added may support the claim of neo-nationalism, but our referencing policy ↗ and our policy on information concerning living persons ↗ requires that you provide an inline citation wherever this information appears. If you can pull a source from the individual's biography, that's perfect, but they cannot be listed on the neo-nationalism page without an inline citation. Thanks. Welcome!

Hello, Theasiancowboy, and welcome ↗ to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions ↗. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Sino-French War ↗ does not conform to '''Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV) ↗'''. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy ↗ that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, ''':Pizza Meter ↗'''. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – ''':Pentagon pizza theory ↗'''. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion ↗. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at :Pentagon pizza theory ↗. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page ↗.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Pizza+Meter|deleting administrator}}, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here ↗. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process ↗ and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.<!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Fram (talk) 13:57, 10 September 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Swatjester, and welcome to Wikipedia ↗. I appreciate your contributions ↗, but in one of your recent edits&nbsp;to :Military junta ↗, it appears that you added original research ↗, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources ↗ in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-nor1 --> <span style="color:red">⇒</span><span style="font-family:Serif"><span style="color:black">SWAT</span><span style="color:goldenrod">Jester</span></span> ↗ <small>Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat!</small> 17:12, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not add original research ↗ or novel syntheses ↗ of published material to articles&nbsp;as you apparently did to :Military junta ↗. Please cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. ''As requested in previous edit summaries, please refrain from adding Madagascar to the list on the aforementioned page until reliable sources refer to it as a "military junta".''<!-- Template:uw-nor2 --> <span style="color:red">⇒</span><span style="font-family:Serif"><span style="color:black">SWAT</span><span style="color:goldenrod">Jester</span></span> ↗ <small>Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat!</small> 07:30, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Warning icon ↗ Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy ↗ by adding your personal analysis or synthesis ↗ into articles, as you did at :Military junta ↗, you may be blocked from editing ↗. ''Please stop. Per WP:ONUS ↗ and WP:BRD ↗, you are required to discuss and gain consensus for your contested additions. Your edits are not supported by the source you are using, which does not anywhere state that Madagascar is ruled by a "military junta."''<!-- Template:uw-nor3 --> <span style="color:red">⇒</span><span style="font-family:Serif"><span style="color:black">SWAT</span><span style="color:goldenrod">Jester</span></span> ↗ <small>Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat!</small> 19:04, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

30px|alt=Stop icon|link= ↗ '''You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war ↗.''' This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate ↗ with others, avoid editing disruptively ↗, and try to reach a consensus ↗ – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:
# {{strong|Edit warring is disruptive behavior ↗ – regardless of how many reverts you have made;}}
# {{strong|Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.}}
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page ↗ and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard ↗ or seek dispute resolution ↗ if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection ↗. {{strong|If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked ↗ from editing.}} <!-- Template:uw-ew --> <span style="color:red">⇒</span><span style="font-family:Serif"><span style="color:black">SWAT</span><span style="color:goldenrod">Jester</span></span> ↗ <small>Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat!</small> 15:04, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
:As an aside, communication is required from editors on this project. Your editing history ↗ shows you're capable of using article talk pages and are aware of their existence, particularly on this topic. This implies quite strongly that your failure to discuss or seek consensus is willful and intentional. Combined with a complete lack of history of having ever engaged on a user talk page, and this is a strong indicator that you are not here to collaboratively and constructively build an encyclopedia ↗. <span style="color:red">⇒</span><span style="font-family:Serif"><span style="color:black">SWAT</span><span style="color:goldenrod">Jester</span></span> ↗ <small>Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat!</small> 15:08, 16 October 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello! Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, and in particular for adding references, as you did to 2025–2026 Indonesian protests ↗! However, adding a bare URL ↗ is not ideal, and exposes the reference to link rot ↗. It is preferable to use proper citation templates ↗ when citing sources ↗, including details such as title, author, date, and any other information necessary for a bibliographic citation ↗. Here's an example of a full citation using the {{tl|cite web}} template to cite a web page:
<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">Lorem ipsum<ref>{{cite web |title=Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac |publisher=Canon Inc |work=Ask a Question |date=2022 |url=https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART174839 |access-date=2022-04-02}}</ref> dolor sit amet.</syntaxhighlight>
which displays ''inline ↗'' in the running text of the article as:
{{block indent|Lorem ipsum{{fake ref|1}} dolor sit amet.}}
and displays under '''References''' as:
#^ Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac ↗". ''Ask a Question''. Canon Inc. 2022. Retrieved 2022-04-02.
If you've already added one or more bare URLs to an article, there are tools available to expand them into full citations: try the Citer tool ↗, or in the wikitext editor ↗, try the reFill tool ↗, and in the Visual Editor ↗, the reference dialog ↗ can convert some bare urls into a full citation.
Once again, thanks for adding references to articles. <!-- Template:Uw-bareurl --> - Ivan530 (''Talk'' ↗) 10:54, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
