streching on the Sikh Empire โ Mapping without following criterial guideline and many veracious exaggeration even after not reaching the consensus on its respective talk Page at Talk:Sikh Empire โ
Its look like, even after consensus did not form in his prerogative favour on this particular articulacy of Sikh Empire โ, the impatient User elected to self-insert that fictitious map (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Sikh_Empire#/editor/2 โ) while it remained under ongoing deletion for failing requirementsโcriteria same for all who bind themselves to the collaboratory mechanism. Without pushing a one-sided narrative, it is better to rollback this unprecedented and baseless edit to ease the record.
Hope it works for all of us {{Thumbs up}} ~2026-14258-07 โ (talk) 17:47, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
New SPI but I have no idea what I'm doing
There's been some sock-like activity over a bunch of MCU pages so I opened a SPI. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to run one. Could you help me? It's Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Eeryytk โ Realtent (talk) 04:21, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
:@Realtent That looks fine to me. I would suggest moving the specific diffs out of the comments by other users and against the specifically linked articles, just to make things easier for the reviewing admin. Unfortunately I'm not an admin or SPI clerk, so I can't action it any further than what's already there. <span style="background-color:#a23efa;color:white;padding:0 0.3em;border-radius:0.5em;white-space:nowrap">'''''Umby''''' ๐๐ถ</span> <small>(talk)</small> 04:28, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
::Cool, thanks for your oversight! Just wanted to make sure as I've already had a blunder on noticeboards today and didn't want to make it two haha Realtent (talk) 04:30, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

Article Atlanta โ
Please read my comment on that article's Talk page. I can see no conceivable reason why Wikipedia graphics editors would choose to insert a vintage 1864 photo of a slave-auction house as a prime lead-in photo for the "Atlanta" article. Thanks. Mason.Jones (talk) 21:35, 24 June 2026 (UTC)

::Why do I see these images displayed at the top of WP articles on a smartphone screen but not at the top of a computer screen? Why is it being auto-selected for the mobile/smartphone view? Mason.Jones (talk) 23:21, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
:::@Mason.Jones Not sure, it's showing the correct skyline photo for me on the native iOS app. What operating system and app/browser are you using to access the article? <span style="background-color:#a23efa;color:white;padding:0 0.3em;border-radius:0.5em;white-space:nowrap">'''''Umby''''' ๐๐ถ</span> <small>(talk)</small> 23:24, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Android / Google Chrome. Mason.Jones (talk) 23:42, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::AI says: "Wikipedia's mobile layout is specifically designed to maximize visual context on small screens. It automatically gathers specific images related to the article (maps, sub-topic photos) and '''pins them in a top carousel''', whereas the desktop view [doesn't]." So it is Wikipedia and the two image choices are random, but once pinned in the carousel they become permanent. I think that's kind of lousy. Mason.Jones (talk) 01:02, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
