Can I turn off the sound in one window and not others?
Try this:
First, open the ad in new tab, and inspect network ↗ on the ad page. Note the domain names that show up. Note the domain names that appear to be of the ad provider, not of the main music site itself.
Then, open "hosts" ↗ to edit (as administrator). Copy-paste relevant domain names to the with IP as 0.0.0.0.
Next time when you revisit the music website, the ad might load but it may not be able to download anything to play. manya (talk) 09:20, 5 January 2026 (UTC)

WYFQ and WYFQ-FM
Hello, I have completed your requested page moved that you submitted at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests ↗. At your request, the former WLNK-FM is now at WYFQ-FM ↗. However, there is a separate article at WYFQ ↗ that talks about a station with those call letters ''and'' another with WHYQ. Having two stations in one article is already odd, and do you think that one should be repurposed and retitled in some fashion? I'm a bit lost myself due to all the recent ownership shenanigans among these stations. Thanks. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS ↗) 17:44, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
:I'm not sure what should take place myself. The decision was made many years ago to have what is now WYHG in the WYFQ ↗ article. The station has no separate history to speak of. When it went on the air it was an FM simulcast of WYFQ. That's all it has ever been.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions ↗ • 17:47, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
::I added "See also" notes to the top of the two articles for now, but the whole thing is quite confusing. It appears to me that a lot of N.C. radio station articles need to be cleaned up after many recent ownership changes and swaps of call letters. Perhaps some time is needed for everything to settle. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS ↗) 18:00, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
:::It looks like your recent edit request (WZUP, WLGT, WGTL) got complicated because FID 48399 Washington, North Carolina, changed its calls last year and nobody moved it. Without Mlaffs, I'm noticing a bigger backlog on call sign moves. I'm not sure how to fix this directly.
:::I'd like to ask that you come to me first with requests for moves on broadcast call signs. Unlike the typical RM/TR page mover or admin, this is my field, and I can catch and fix myriad mistakes. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c ↗) 22:30, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Okay. I got confused when the source said WLGT was in La Grange and the Wikipedia article was about a Washington station. Normally, when these things happen, I read about them on a web site, but people haven't been posting these changes on the web site.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions ↗ • 22:35, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
::::This looks like this should have been controversial. I didn't expect the action to happen so fast. I wasn't sure what to call the former WGTL in Kannapolis but somehow I discovered the redirect.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions ↗ • 22:47, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::One change from 2019 is that we have a priority order for figuring out the disambiguator on defunct stations. In this case, the station can't be disambiguated by state but can by city.
:::::This change didn't seem to generate much media attention, which did not help. Sounds like RadioDiscussions posters didn't even pick up on it. The last and most recent leg involves a K-Love transmitter with no independent history, to add a bit of complication to the puzzle. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c ↗) 07:43, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::I don't see K-Love involved in any of this. The original topic here was a group of BBN ↗ stations.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions ↗ • 17:17, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
