Wikipedia:Destubathon of the Americas ↗

You are invited to participate in the '''Destubathon of the Americas ↗''', a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 17:43, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

I just discovered the article "Age and mathematical productivity", and fixed the problems with AI text. Would you be willing to make it resubmittable?

Regarding Draft:Age and mathematical productivity ↗

This is definitely an interesting topic for an article! I made the text way more significantly varied, and removed irrelevant tangents overall. Finally, I thoroughly checked and improved all sources for potential hallucinations.

If you with to make it submittable again, "reject=1" has to be removed from the submission template, and "|e|" has to be changed to another reason since the reject parameter would be gone. &#126;2026-24865-26 ↗ (talk) 13:24, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

:Done. Thank you for your attention to the issues raised in the rejection. I will not review the article at AfC a second time (to avoid bias) but please reach out to me if you have questions. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 23:09, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
::No problem! I will resubmit now. &#126;2026-24865-26 ↗ (talk) 23:31, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

AnotherBeliever and the Portland articles

So Believer says he has never used LLM on his articles, and I would believe it. So I would reconsider removing the "Suspected AI-generated articles" tag off the AFDs of his Portland articles. ロドリゲス恭子 (talk) 14:15, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

:I've never used an LLM to draft Wikipedia content. The fact that this has been suggested multiple times over the last few days is weird. ---<span style="color:navy">Another Believer</span> (<span style="color:#C60">Talk</span>) 15:40, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
::I left a comment on that thread stating how I thought at first why there might be LLMs involved, and also reasons why I may well be wrong. Was the article itself tagged with an AI template? (I apologize if I made that assessment in error. I read a lot of clearly AI-generated articles and sections and it is becoming something I see everywhere, sometimes incorrectly). WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 20:57, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
:::no AI template was attached. And I would believe that some of these Portland articles are almost AI free due to them being created before the advent of ChatGPT. ロドリゲス恭子 (talk) 06:34, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
::::re: "almost AI free". Please stop suggesting there's a chance I've used AI when I haven't. I've literally never used AI to draft Wikipedia content. ---<span style="color:navy">Another Believer</span> (<span style="color:#C60">Talk</span>) 14:07, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

Draft:International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines, Polish Academy of Sciences

Hi!

I fixed the issues raised by you in the rejection comment, please check:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:International_Institute_of_Molecular_Mechanisms_and_Machines,_Polish_Academy_of_Sciences

(Originally it was not generated by any LLM, it was my attempt to translate the page from Polish to English, but all the issues were due to me being new to wiki. I hope the revised version addresses the raised concerns.

Thank you! BaulinEF (talk) 10:39, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
