I checked Watch Duty and the SD County Fire account on X, and they both said that forward progress of the fire had been stopped, but nothing about its containment status. Stubs are simply very short articles that may not have the breadth of coverage expected from an article in the WP encyclopedia, they often do provide very useful information and very often they can be expanded into a more comprehensive article. However, as I understand it, there is a different procedure to follow when a non-administrator withdraws or closes an AfD. Please take note of the guidance on the correct template to use on the talk pages of articles after an editor withdraws their AfD's. From what I understand, this should be done (adding the filled-out template) for all the articles that were nominated, withdrawn, and consequently speedy kept.
Also I want to mention that you added a non-existent template for "Promotional content" to the Calaveras County Arts Council ↗ article so now there is an error message in red in the article hatnote. Could you please consider slowing down on doing these sorts of edits until you become more familiar with the various processes and procedures. The reason is that there is absolutely no editorial oversight or vetting of these, so they are considered user-submitted content ↗, and therefore unreliable. I had noticed that the article on Palos Verdes Bowl used two blogs as sources (I've removed them). Also, and you probably already know this, but YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and things like that are also not considered reliable sources. For more information, see WP:RSP ↗. :::I saw another nice one (with a less restrictive license) and tried uploading it using the Flickr to Commons tool, but it was rejected. WP Commons only accepts a limited range of licenses. I'll keep looking though. I really feel like having an image would be a great asset to the readers, and it was such a cool sign!
:::There may be a work-around by adding a fair use image that was a detail from a larger image with the justification that the sign can no longer be photographed at this time because it was demolished and no longer exists. I will also have a look in a couple books I have of Googie Architecture, to see if there are any old newspaper photos that may be out of copyright or are public domain because they were made the government.
