Disambiguation link notification for July 29
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Flatbush Avenue ↗, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Prospect Park ↗ and Kings Highway ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 09:07, 29 July 2024 (UTC)

Hatnote deletions
Dear colleague, please do not delete the {{tl|notability}} WP:hatnote ↗ without either providing new sources or getting a consensus on the WP:talk page ↗. I had placed the hatnotes into the articles on Brooklyn buses as IMHO the sources in these articles do not provide WP:SIGCOV ↗. Викидим (talk) 04:07, 2 January 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Seraphimblade. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to :B48 (New York City bus) ↗ have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗, or take a look at our guidelines ↗ about links. Thank you. {{PAGENAME}} ↗<!-- Template:uw-spam1 --> Seraphimblade <small>Talk to me</small> 13:31, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
:After looking further, you added an inappropriate link to some "Google Sites" thing to ''dozens'' of articles. Personal websites like that are not reliable ↗ or independent ↗ sources. Please ensure that you do not do something like that again. Seraphimblade <small>Talk to me</small> 15:09, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
::That means no source for any depot roster is reliable. When will someone make a reliable source with all depot assignments? By obeying the rules of Wikipedia, readers will have to mislearn that there is no Next-Gen assigned to Grand Avenue, which is no longer true. Wikis6501 (talk) 18:18, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
:::Presumably, if the information on the Google site is accurate, ''they'' found the information somewhere. (And if not, well then we certainly shouldn't be using what they say!) If that's not your own site, maybe you could contact them and ask where they're finding out about it. It's quite possible the source they're using is actually reliable. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ See WP:STYLEVAR ↗ which says we should not go around changing from one acceptable style to another. The first acceptable style should remain in place.<!-- Template:uw-mos2 --> Binksternet (talk) 18:37, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
:Is this about the rock bands? I’ve seen other pages with the flatlist style and someone else actually thanked me for it for one of them. Wikis6501 (talk) 22:49, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
:If you take a look at the most popular rock bands, you’ll see what I mean. Wikis6501 (talk) 22:50, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
::All I'm saying is that the style guide allows commas for separation of two or three items in an infobox list. If you go around changing the commas to bullets, you are disrupting the encyclopedia for no good reason. Look again at WP:STYLEVAR ↗. Binksternet (talk) 00:56, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
Bolding connections
Per MOS:BOLD ↗, please do not bold the names of connecting systems in infoboxes, such as in this edit ↗. Also, please only include connections that stop at or very near a station. Routes that stop a significant distance away, such as those you added to Spuyten Duyvil station, should not be listed. Thanks, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 03:23, 17 November 2025 (UTC)

Please stop adding transportation information to college and university articles
Please stop adding transportation information to college and university articles - this is an encyclopedia, not ↗ a travel guide or place to store admissions brochures. I plan to remove all of the information you've added. If you'd like to open a discussion, I recommend doing so at WT:UNI ↗ since these edits span multiple articles.
