Proposed deletion ↗ of :1969 Houston Baptist Huskies baseball team ↗
left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗
The article :1969 Houston Baptist Huskies baseball team ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Non-notable baseball season, no content worth merging to parent article.'''</blockquote>
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> <span style="color:#030">'''''Wizardman'''''</span> 14:24, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
:Hello. This article was the result of a larger-scope project for the Houston Christian University ↗ athletics department. Since early-2021, I have been working internally with their athletics staff with research. My biggest project regards their baseball program. As of their most recent almanac, they only have games listed from 1990-present. HCU previously had baseball from 1964-1970, of which there is no information on those seven seasons in the almanac other than lettermen. Are thirty-six sources not enough? I went above and beyond sourcing my material, as there is little information on the main web aside from historical game schedules of a few select teams (i.e. Sam Houston State, U of H, and UT-Rio Grande Valley) without going to paid subscription sites like Genealogy Bank and newspapers.com (deep web?). By your logic, numerous other articles of baseball seasons that resulted in zero playoffs or postseason conference tournaments should also be deleted.
:I WILL FIGHT to keep this article up, as HCU's baseball almanac has yet to be updated with pre-1990 material and this article serves as a wealth of information, as well as a gift to their athletics department. Wjenkins96 (talk) 16:21, 21 October 2023 (UTC)

Clipping from Newspapers.com
Wjenkins96, thanks for your work at 2000 Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks football team ↗ and elsewhere. When citing from Newspapers.com, you want to clip the article and link to the clipping. See Wikipedia:Newspapers.com ↗. Alsp, when adding citations to college football schedule tables, as in 2000 Hofstra Pride football team ↗, you should generally make use of the source field rather than just appending the citations to the attendance figure. Thanks, Jweiss11 (talk) 01:54, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
Thanks! I see that the newspapers.com sources on the SFA page have already been clipped. I practiced clipping on this article ↗. I am doing this as part of a project regarding NCAA schools and yearly attendance figures. In June of every year after the CWS concludes, I document the attendance of each school and base it off of the following sports: Baseball, Men's & Women's Basketball, Football, Volleyball, and Men's & Women's Soccer. If the combined attendance number for those seven sports reaches or succeeds 100,000, then I place it on the document. 199 schools made the list in 2022-23 (compared to 179 in 2021-22). There are also a few Division II schools that make the annual list. Each school on the list is designated one of three distinctions based off their number: Small (100,000-199,999), Medium (200,000-499,999), and Large (500,000+). I have decided to make compilations for every year starting in 1999-2000, as any year prior might not be possible due to how little people archived stuff on the Wayback Machine prior to then. wjenkins96 (talk) 8:16 PM, 16 January 2024 (CST)

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :"Lost Again" (Dance Hall Crashers song) ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
A tag has been placed on :"Lost Again" (Dance Hall Crashers song) ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-redirtypo-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> In solidarity ↗, <span style="background-color: #FFCFBF; font-variant: small-caps">Destinyokhiria ('''talk''' / '''cont ↗''')</span> 06:00, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
