If there are no reliable, third party sources on a topic, we shouldn't have an article on that topic, because we can only be as reliable as our sources. It still just looks like a pile of hype, from their own site, press releases and digg, which is an unreliable user-submitted news site and doesn't do any research or editorial control of its own. the article's looking awful shaky right now, like a promotional puff piece. A couple of things re: your recent edits to the Oink's Pink Palace ↗ article.

First, thanks for adding the link to the Wired article ↗. It seems pretty accurate and it's great to have more reputable sources in the article.

Could you clarify what you mean by the sentence: "Compared to other bittorrent trackers at the time it's userbase was balanced to music fans and music professionals" in the Oink's Pink Palace ↗ article? I'm not sure what it means.

I took the advice on your userpage and did a bunch of copy-editing to your recent edits.

Could you be a little more cautious with your edits? Both of your main changes have added good info, but much of the info was already in the article in different places, and it was already copyedited.

:Yeah, but its kind of common knowledge that Oink was balanced to music people. Anyway, from the article there is link to Jace Claytons and Rob sheridans writing about Oink. Outside from article there were discussion around Idolator (after one idolator writer were kicked out from Oink) about music journalists beeing users of Oink. Also some of prereleased music weren't scene ↗ releases and were from music indystry workers. You know, buy uploading this screenshot, you could be percieved as a user or a friend of a user on OiNK and therefore admitting to committing the crimes of pirating music. I was editing the article after the raid happened and the site was closed and Paines blog were added to the article because it was commonly agreed that it was credible (there were couple other credible blogs also). AFAIK. the Paine was one of the inner core admins of the oink. Second and more important reason was that teh Paine's blog didn't push any agenda, but it merely killed hoaxes and rumors. I think that this second reason is why it should be in the article.
::#the Youtube video: It doesn't matter if Oink song is reliable source or not. It is not used as source. It is commentary about the closing the Oink. I don't really care if this is in the article or not. It just is something which is nice.

Edward Nilges

Edward is a blocked user, and has engaged in persistent trolling at various other articles, as well as issuing legal threats against me and others. At Talk:Ayn Rand ↗ and other places he shows up we've simply been reverting his comments because of their consistently abusive tone and because he falsely accuses me of racism in the post. Users well-acquainted with Edward's antics include User:Skomorokh, User:Kjaer, User:Atlan (the admin who blocked him), User:Idag, User:J Readings, User:Ethan a Dawe, and others. As such, and because he is a blocked user, I've removed his talk page comment again. If you still disagree, we can ask a third party for arbitration, as I do have a problem with a false accusation of racism against me remaining on the Talk Page. The articles cited in relation to Määri were published in periodical with annual periodicity (originally the template was chosen according to the similar English template). Also if there is possibility to use other usuala available "Finnish" bibliographic references template, then please just use it. The second article has English summary. There is one another article related to the theme at the end of the edition, which has English summary (synopsis) too. Hi - Can you please explain whether you were asked to edit any articles here by {{noping|Jjanhone}}? I find it odd that you haven't edited very much here until this year, when your main interest has been in removing {{tl|paid contributions}} from various articles written by them. From your userpage, it would seem like a possibility that you've met them in real life. : I have been following the development of the case. Anyway, I know Jjanhonen via finnish Wikipedia activity, she has also been :WMFI:Hallitus/Vanhat hallitukset ↗ and she is one of the persons who are doing Wikipedia events regularly in Finland. So it is not black-and-white. In this particular case, she asked for advice on how to proceed in Wikipedia context both publicly in Wikipedia ystävät ↗ FB group, but we also talked privately. My advice basically was that it would be a good idea to edit already created content in the shape that the community would accept it instead of writing new content. About sockpuppets, I noticed when it was in SPI, but I don't know what happened. I think that the closing analysis was correct ↗ from the Wikipedias point of view. In Jjanhonen's point of view, I think that she thinks that it was an error by her but she doesn't know how to fix the situation. In the context of how I have selected the articles which I have edited. In some articles, I have also discussed how they should be edited (in example Orthex ↗, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk%3AOrthex&type=revision&diff=1016075710&oldid=1013963168 ↗, https://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keskustelu:Orthex ↗) However I have also been just followed the edits via Special:RecentChangesLinked ↗ and picked recently edited articles to edit from there. Your e-mail

Thanks very much for your e-mail. You were exactly right about what was going through my head when I asked the user about the Israeli article. I hadn't realized it when I blocked, but did more probing afterward. The list at Meta is fascinating. Although all of the users are registered at en.wiki, very few have any edits. I may reopen the SPI here, although, from a technical perspective, it looks very messy. I'm still waiting to see if the user here responds to my two questions, and I might as well wait to see what the stewards do as well.

My apologies for posting here rather than at fi.wiki, but you have the honor of having one of the most difficult languages in the world, or at least the western world, and even posting at your Talk page in English would have been tough. Hopefully, you check this page occasionally or are notified in some way.
