Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading :Image:Branxholm Tower.jpg ↗. A machine-controlled robot account ↗ noticed that you uploaded the same image twice: as Image:Branxholm Tower.jpg and also as :Image:Lg 213-2.jpg ↗. The latter copy of the file has been marked for speedy deletion ↗ since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive ↗, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy ↗. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 03:32, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Thelma Schoonmaker ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Schoonmaker ↗ (check to confirm ↗ | fix with Dab solver ↗). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.

Sparkline edits
Hi there. I appreciate your passion on the Sparkline ↗ article. When I say "poorly sourced" I do not mean that it's true or not, just that there is no source. If Edward Tufte has made statements about the inspiration for sparklines that can be cited per Wikipedia convention I would be happy to work with you to integrate them into the article as appropriate. Thomas Craven (talk) 14:51, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
Hi Zelchenko. I see you've rolled back Sparkline ↗ again. Let's connect to discuss what's needed citation-wise and how to integrate Peter Zelchenko's contributions to the development of sparklines in an appropriate way. I'll add a section at the bottom of Talk:Sparkline ↗ and we can work through it there. I'd love to help add encyclopedic content with citations. I don't think the existing article meets Wikipedia's standards though, so we'll need to improve/reformat it. With a proper source, I'm sure that will be doable. Thomas Craven (talk) 14:14, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
→ Edit to also thank you for adding the link to the Wayback Machine. It doesn't address all the information in the caption (which might also belong in the main text), but it is a great start! Thomas Craven (talk) 14:16, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
→→ Apologies, editing again to add that I have just now seen your additions to my user page! I will dig in some more later, but it looks like there's a lot of notable stuff I can hopefully help find links for and add to appropriate articles. Many thanks! Sustainability critique page or index
Andy Couturier just popped up again on my radar with his new book. He was just here in Shanghai. Need a page or index that grabs all of these (if just to show how transient they really are). Remember Foer 12 x 12, Affluenza, Elaine St. James, Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin, Duane Elgin, all the way back to Emerson, Franklin, etc.

Adam Savage ↗
Hello, Zelchenko. I don't have any problem with your helpful addition to Adam Savage ↗, but I don't understand the need to insult Savage in the edit summary. The thing with a user-generated encyclopedia is that people will write about the things that interest them; if you think there should be an article about Whitney Lee Savage, you might like to write it yourself. Anyway, I've revision deleted ↗ your edit summary as a WP:BLP ↗ violation. Bishonen | tålk 09:51, 15 August 2024 (UTC).
:Fine. Morality police are all over Wikipedia. If it helps fulfill you in an otherwise uneventful career, then enjoy your fun. For the record, Adam Savage is a tireless self-promoter. Half of his product involves figuring out how to get a word in edgewise about his own relatively unspectacular accomplishments. Powerful people promote themselves without acknowledging how large of a leg up they actually had. When someone hires a ghostwriter to edit his Wikipedia page, he at least should ghostwrite in acknowledgment of how he got where he did. Zelchenko (talk) 00:29, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
