Your test

Foreign Ministers of Germany during the Weimar Republic were not called "imperial" foreign ministers in English, and such usage is utterly ridiculous as well as constitute original research. Federal is a correct translation of both terms used in German (Reichsminister/Bundesminister) - the latter does not mean federal more than the first. In accordance with previous consensus, German politicians are not to be numbered. Saris Marito (talk) 02:35, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
:Hello, I cannot say that I fully understand what you try to tell me. The ministers in Germany 1919-45 were called Reichsminister, and I do not see any reason to translate that with "Federal". Google "Imperial Minister Germany" and you will see that Reichs- is translated with "Imperial". Please try to avoid words like "ridiculous" when talking to fellow Wikipedians.--Ziko (talk) 11:09, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Signpost

Great! Since you are active on German and other Wikipedias, the best thing you could do for the ''Signpost'' would be to report on major happenings on those projects. For example, it would be interesting to have a report on how sighted versions on German Wikipedia have been going since all the existing articles were marked. We don't hear nearly enough about German and other major Wikipedias, so just keeping us up to date about what is going on would be a great addition to the ''Signpost'' (either with occasional updates, or even with a weekly report).

Piecemeal contributions to "News and notes" and "In the news" are also always appreciated (and drafts for those are usually linked from the planning room ↗), and we're trying to revive the "Discussion report" (Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2009-05-25/Discussion report ↗ for this coming week). If there's something else you'd like to do for the ''Signpost'', just let me know.--ragesoss (talk) 18:30, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
:Thanks for the tipps, Ragesoss, and sorry for being away a couple of days. I will see what I find that could be interesting for the English speaking community. Kind regards Ziko (talk) 23:04, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

::An essay about the differences between working on those different Wikipedias would be great. Except for a few tidbits here and there, the English WP community really doesn't know much about the character of other language projects. A beat like you describe would be good too, but I imagine it'd be tough to find someone who would/could keep it up for long.--ragesoss (talk) 15:31, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
:: OK, I'll try to produce something and put it on a sub page of my user page. / My Handbuch ↗ could be a basis for the beat, but the pieces would have to be brushed up and updated, indeed. --Ziko (talk) 13:22, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Pending changes/Straw poll on interim usage ↗

Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll ↗ regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes ↗, this is to notify you that there is an '''interim straw poll ↗''' with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. '''Your input ↗''' on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:54, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Larry Abramson‎

Thank you for your translation.
Today I completed mapping out the artist list ↗ – including which ones already have German translations (11 of 50). I would greatly appreciate if you would look over the artists that I complete them in English (when I complete a page I add a date in parentheses after English) to see if you can translate the pages. I have added the date after German for the page you did of Larry Abramson‎.

Hello fellow Wikipedian, the hardworking hosts and staff at WP:Teahouse ↗ would like your feedback!

We have created a brief survey ↗ intended to help us understand the experiences and impressions of veteran editors who have participated on the Teahouse. You are being selected to participate in our survey because you edited the Teahouse Questions ↗ or Guests ↗ pages some time during the last few months.

'''Click here ↗ to be taken to the survey site.'''

The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. We really appreciate your feedback, and we look forward to your next vist to the Teahouse!

Happy editing,

Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)

Credo Reference ↗, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts ↗ to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:

It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve.

At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange ↗).

Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot.

If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! Ocaasi t &#124; c ↗ 17:38, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Ways to improve Italia und Germania

Hello, Ziko,

Thanks for creating Italia und Germania ↗! I edit here too, under the username Boleyn and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page ↗ as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process ↗ and note that:-

{{Bq|What do you mean by 'Literature'? Is it the references or just suggestions for further reading?}}

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Boleyn<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And, don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse ↗.

:Hello Boleyn, thanks for the help. I am not that familiar with the terms on En.WP and welcome edits repairing that. I will have a look at the article later. Ziko (talk) 15:51, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

A page you started (Leichte Sprache) has been reviewed!

Thanks for creating Leichte Sprache ↗.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process ↗ and note that:

{{Bq|Thank you for your new article on Leichte Sprache. Note that it is currently an "orphan", meaning that no other Wikipedia articles link TO it. This makes the article tough to find for interested readers. See WP:DE-ORPHAN ↗ for pointers.}}

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Doomsdayer520<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And, don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> .

Reichsminister ↗ moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Reichsminister ↗, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable ↗, independent sources ↗. <small>(? ↗)</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability ↗ is of central importance ↗ on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace ↗ (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline ↗ and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. :Hello, I thoroughly dislike your action. You could have easily contacted me on a talk page, instead of submitting a draft without even asking me. Ziko (talk) 10:43, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

Why are you deleting my discussions on George Floyd?

Hi, I was wondering why you deleted my edit request on the George Floyd talk page? I was about to reply to the person who had commented below but was unable to do so because of your deletion. I don't think I've violated any rules, have I? I'm new here so I might not be familiar with everything.

I hope you don't mind, but I was trying to figure out for a while why you were talking about some imaginary dog-walking conference, and why you chose such a weird metaphor for Wikipedians meeting up.

Then I checked the schedule, and after staring at it for a bit, added a sentence clarifying that, no, it was actually a thing that happened at Wikimania. Because no-one's going to presume anyone would schedule something that... uh...

Anyway, Found a few typos so I did a little more copyediting, but that's the only major change. <span style="text-shadow:grey 0.118em 0.118em 0.118em; class=texhtml">'''Adam Cuerden''' (talk)Has about 8.1% of all FPs ↗</span> 21:16, 29 August 2022 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia ↗. We appreciate your contributions ↗, but in one of your recent edits&nbsp;to :S.O.S. Titanic ↗, it appears that you have added original research ↗, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say ↗. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗. Mosterdmuseum Doesburg ↗ moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Mosterdmuseum Doesburg ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because '''it needs more sources to establish notability'''.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
