Infobox timestamps

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions ↗ were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox ↗ of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the {{para|club-update}} or {{para|pcupdate}} parameter for club stats, or the {{para|nationalteam-update}} or {{para|ntupdate}} parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format ↗, use five tildes (<nowiki>~~~~~</nowiki>), or for MDY dates, use {{subst|mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 16:51, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
:Please keep this in mind. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:35, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi, you made an unhelpful edit at Xavi Simons ↗, where you combined his appearances during his loan spell and after he signed permanently for the club in his career statistics table. This goes against how the career statistics table should be structured when a player signs for a club on a permanent basis after a loan spell. Please see WikiProject_Football/Players ↗ for further guidance on how to structure a career statistics table. MessiIsMyBezzie (talk) 18:02, 30 August 2025 (UTC)

:Further to this, do NOT remove the parent row for loan spells in the infobox, as per MOS. GiantSnowman 19:30, 2 September 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm VasilT. I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions ↗ to :Erling Haaland ↗ were not quite right. Please only update statistics within the infobox ↗ of a footballer once the match the player was involved in has concluded. This is to help avoid the stats being updated again by another editor once the match has finished, and to avoid having to undo the update in the eventuality that the match is abandoned.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thank you. VasilT (talk) 17:04, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
