Hold on a minute bro. If a player was signed as a free agent, then you put that down as from "Unattached" to wherever. "Made significant contributions to the team". How do you define a contribution as significant, is there a WP:NPOV ↗ way to do so? Definitely not. Same thing applies for "significant contributions to the sport". If you want to make such a list, please use factual, non-controversial and relevant criterions and, also, mention sources (for instance, a minimum number of appearances for the club or stuff like that), otherwise you are just violating WP:V ↗ and WP:RS ↗, namely two of the pillars Wikipedia is based on. If you look at all the major articles involving football clubs, you will easily find out there is no such section, unless where clearly restricted by explicit criterions.
