Yes, but this lead is unusually long, which also is not in line with the usual practice. A summary should be just a couple of lines. Sometimes leads contain new information not elsewhere in the article; this isn't accepted practice but usually it gets worked into the article eventually. The fact one has to "buy" a certificate and heraldic arms, are a mere formality but the ennoblement itself dates from the date of the royal decree if the procedure is followed through. The right is only forfeited if those obligations haven't been fulfilled within 5 years of the Royal Decree. For simplicity's sake it is better - and is also up to now general practice - to make abstraction of this, and to only note if and when the rare case arises that those conditions are not met (like with Marie-France Botte )-- fdewaele ↗ 20 July 2016, 13:17.
::Sorry, but you are wrong. The ennoblement will date not from 10th of july 2016, but from the date when obligations are fulfilled and accepted. When they are, the ennoblement is confirmed, and the date is the one of this confirmation. You can see this as fact by all the ennoblements of the last years. There are also, mentioned under 'literature', four references to more general articles concerning René Jacobs. And then the multiple recordings mentioned, easily verifiable. In general I object strongly against the idea of some users that every information must receive a particular reference. Wikipedia is not a historical study, but an encyclopedia and must be considered and worked upon as such. The Encyclopedia Brittanica is the shining example! How can you block someone, while you are not even a registered user?

It is after I independently wrote the article on this castle, first in French, and afterwards in English and Dutch, that the owners of the chateau sent copyright-free photos for illustration to Wikimedia Commons. What is wrong with that and what can give you any suspicion that this account was made by me? And even if it was (quod non), what is wrong with that? And actually, the photos were all posted 12 hours before the French article was created, by another account (User:~2025-35049-2), and a few hours later you added to that French article, along with the photos. The Dutch article was created by a third account (User:~2025-35819-5) the following day, which again you also expanded. See the edit histories of both articles for the timeline. The timing seemed slightly odd to me, so it was worth asking if you were connected with User:Chateauposeidon account. But you have confirmed that there is no connection. : You are quite right, it is somewhat puzzling. I do not know him personnaly, but wrote the article on the instigation of a friend. I thought he was wiki-worth. I shall afterwards also introduce an article in the Wikipedia in Dutch and perhaps in French.I wil make use of the reference you sent me, to add some informations on the article. You can see on what he is writing that he is somewhat of the "esoteric" type, and I suppose that with my more matter-of-fact mentality I would not have much in common with him. But that does not mean that I cannot see that he is an interesting person, and well considered by authoritative people. It is a pleasure meeting you, at least in writing!
