Bendegó meteorite

Hi ArionEstar,

I'm not sure if this is the right method, but on the entry on the meteorite where you say it's believed lost in the fire I was wondering if it actually would be since it is mainly iron and it's doubtful a basic building fire will burn hot enough long enough to melt iron.

This is known as a "cut-and-paste move ↗", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history ↗, which is legally required for attribution ↗. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be ''moved'' to a new title together with their edit history.

I am sorry if I casted some doubts but my personal experience shows that maps are very difficult to be promoted. It is even more difficult to read the discussions where some claim that these kind of maps are nothing special and have no added value :-). Hi, I saw you replied to my comment pointing out that it is a racist stereotype to think Africa is a place filled with daily bombings at the residences of its heads of state. I mistakenly replied to you instead of the original commenter, which I corrected afterwards. I wanted to clarify that, as you were probably pinged by accident.

Also, it's directly on topic, because the original commenter used a pretty clearly stereotypical trope to oppose the notability of the blurb. I am correcting that rationale for the record so that that vote is not counted or weighed heavily, because that kind of rationale is against policy. I have my reasons for adding the hurricanes over the floods, such as the fact that it killed more people, caused much more damage and broke numerous meteorological records (Hurricane Milton ↗ was the most powerful storm of the year). I'll boldly assume You read the NYT article, and if not, that's okay too.
Anyway, what we are looking at is a remotely operating vehicle looking at something and then using its equipment to offer a rudimentary chemical test of what has been found. It would be best to bring back samples and subject them to a thorough analysis here on Earth, but keep in mind this is happening quite far away from here - getting to Mars and back is not an easy task ↗.
