Userboxes

If you want to create more and more new userboxes for your userpage, could you please be a little bit more careful about the categories you have them file the page in? For the ''second'' time ''this week'' alone, I just had to spend time ''hunting'' for where a ''redlinked'' userbox category was coming from, because you used the erroneous {{cl|Wikipedians interested democracy}} on User:UBX/PIC ''instead'' of the actually-existing {{cl|Wikipedians interested in democracy}}. (And the first time was on User:UBX/K$H, where the error you made was one that left the page filed in a "Category:Category:" instead of a "Category:".)

Pages can't sit in redlinked categories, however, so when something like that happens other people end up having to invest their time into fixing it — and you have so many userboxes on your userpage that I had to spend far more time than necessary just trying to figure out which box was even transcluding the redlink in the first place, and again this was the ''second'' time I've had to invest time into cleaning up a redlinked category on your userpage, transcluded from a misspelled user category in a userbox, ''just this week''.

So could you please be more careful in the future to ensure that you're using categories that exist instead of leaving your page filed in misspelled categories that don't exist? Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 15:28, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
