Ambyr Childers ↗ edits
I have reverted your addition of content to Ambyr Childers ↗ because the changes were not sourced. Providing citations to reliable published sources is a basic principle for all Wikipedia articles. (Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources ↗.) In the case of a biography of a living person, additional policies apply. (Please see WP:BLPPRIVACY ↗ and WP:DON'T PRESERVE ↗.)
I appreciate your efforts to improve the article, but addition of content is an improvement only when it is properly sourced. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:09, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
:Alright I understand, the information details in early life section just seemed relevant to the article after previously being deleted, but you are right since they were unsourced, I'll make sure to check and look out for that next time. Cockfightermaster1969 (talk) 01:16, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
::Thanks for understanding. I should add that sources that are user-generated are not reliable for use in Wikipedia articles. WP:USERGENERATED ↗ lists some of those, such as IMDb. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:37, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''discussions about infoboxes ↗, and edits adding, deleting, collapsing, or removing verifiable information from infoboxes''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia ↗;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines ↗;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system ↗.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'', you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template.
}} M.Bitton (talk) 15:08, 2 August 2025 (UTC)

Pointless copyedits
Edits like these ↗ to Union (American Civil War) ↗ are not helpful, and are usually the opposite. Either you are pointlessly rephrasing the same points using more words, or you are adding your own characterizations of events without any reference to cited sources. Hi friend. I appreciate you trying to help with the U.S. Wars/ Conflict pages, but...
This is actually a wider series of article 1 main index article and 6 list articles. '''I personally do not mind, but could you please change all 7 to reflect this?''' Dasomm and I are the main guys who work on the article at this point. There were more, but we are the only 2 consistent editors anymore on these pages.
Note 1 on the index article goes over the longstanding consensus on wars/ conflicts etc. Nothing precluding your changes in fact, it may be better, though I want to hear Dasomm's thoughts.
Lists of wars involving the United States#Notes ↗
Also side note for consistency you may or may not want to do the same for the UK Index articles and its Wars/ Conflicts.
Lists of wars involving the United Kingdom ↗ as well as the List of wars involving England ↗ and List of wars involving Scotland ↗. Not sure what they will think of it over there my friend, I do not work on that set as much except on occasion.
I want to emphasize that I appreciate you being bold ↗, and trying to help. This is something to be encouraged. (: Historyguy1138 (talk) 23:09, 17 May 2026 (UTC)

Notice regarding page moves
25px ↗ Please stop moving articles without prior discussion, as you did recently. On Wikipedia, renaming or moving established pages—especially if the move could be controversial—should generally not be done unilaterally.
Instead, the correct procedure is to build consensus by proposing a **Requested Move** on the article's talk page. Unilateral moves can disrupt links, break incoming search traffic, and create confusion for other editors.
- If you believe an article should be renamed, please see the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves ↗ to start a formal discussion.
- You can also review Wikipedia:Article titles ↗ to learn more about our naming conventions.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Dasomm (talk) 23:48, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
