:Dear Discospinster, you claim this reference https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/media.worldcurling.org/media.worldcurling.org/wcf_worldcurling/2019/09/17100941/2019-The-Rules-of-Curling-_Changelog.pdf has nothing to do with the championships, but if you look on page 55 and 56 it outlines how the teams qualify for the World's Men's and Women's Curling Championships. I appreciate your due diligence as a great wikipedia editor, but I think the two pages I had for the 2020 World Men's Curling Championship and 2020 World Women's Curling Championship should be reverted back to full page status. Edwyth (talk) 05:04, 21 November 2019 (UTC)

::The document gives general rules of eligibility, it does not support the list of qualifying countries that was in the section. There needs to be more references to show that these teams qualified. <span style="color:DarkGray">...</span> <span style="color:DarkOrange">'''disco'''</span><span style="color: #556B2F">'''''spinster'''''</span> '''<span style="color:DarkGray">talk</span>''' 13:48, 21 November 2019 (UTC)

:::I am a little confused. The teams that have qualified are based on their rank at the appropriate world events. Such as the European Curling Championship. If the Top 7 teams from that championship qualify for the World Men's Curling Championship and such teams are proven to have come in the top 7, doesn't that mean they have qualified based on the rules in the document? Edwyth (talk) 18:33, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
::::It absolutely supports the list of qualified countries as you indicate Edwyth, more sources would be good, but moving this to draft space was silly. Tomorrow I will add several sources and put it back into mainspace. WP:BEFORE ↗ was not done here and it is not up to user discospinster whether it should be a draft or not.18abruce (talk) 22:30, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
:::::None of the qualifying countries were named in the document, it was a general description of qualifying rules. You are welcome to add sources before it's moved to mainspace. <span style="color:DarkGray">...</span> <span style="color:DarkOrange">'''disco'''</span><span style="color: #556B2F">'''''spinster'''''</span> '''<span style="color:DarkGray">talk</span>''' 01:41, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
::::::From the individual who did not understand the material in the first place, LOL. An Olympic sport that is in the qualification process should be improved, not hidden. 'No discussion needed' is a lousy way to work in a community setting, particularly with a newer user who should be encouraged. I am welcome to move it back into mainspace is what you meant to say I am sure. Once again none of this is up to you.18abruce (talk) 19:20, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

Is it possible for you to update the results table for the article? :Glad to help! Thank you for creating the page and all the hard work you do! It definitely doesn't go unnoticed! Edwyth (talk) 10:24, 25 July 2025 (UTC)
