thumb|400px|New Page Review queue April to June 2023 ↗
'''Backlog'''

'''Redirect drive''': In response to an unusually high redirect backlog, we held a redirect backlog drive in May. The drive completed with '''23851''' reviews done in total, bringing the redirect backlog to '''0''' (momentarily). Congratulations to {{Noping|Hey man im josh}} who led with a staggering 4316 points, followed by {{noping|Meena}} and {{noping|Greyzxq}} with 2868 and 2546 points respectively. See this page ↗ for more details. The redirect queue is steadily rising again and is steadily approaching 4,000. Please continue to help out, even if it's only for a few or even one review a day.

'''Redirect autopatrol''': All administrators without autopatrol have now been added to the redirect autopatrol list. If you see any users who consistently create significant amounts of good quality redirects, consider requesting redirect autopatrol for them here ↗.

'''WMF work on PageTriage''': The WMF Moderator Tools team ↗, consisting of {{noping|Samwalton9 (WMF)|label1=Sam|JSherman (WMF)|label2=Jason|SCardenas (WMF)|label3=Susana}}, and also some patches from {{noping|Jon (WMF)|label1=Jon}}, has been hard at work updating PageTriage ↗. They are focusing their efforts on modernising the extension's code rather than on bug fixes or new features, though some user-facing work will be prioritised. This will help make sure that this extension is not deprecated, and is easier to work on in the future. In the next month or so, we will have an opt-in beta test ↗ where new page patrollers can help test the rewrite of Special:NewPagesFeed ↗, to help find bugs. We will post more details at WT:NPPR ↗ when we are ready for beta testers.

'''Articles for Creation (AFC)''': All new page reviewers are now '''automatically approved''' for Articles for Creation draft reviewing (you do not need to apply at WT:AFCP ↗ like was required previously). To install the AFC helper script ↗, visit Special:Preferences ↗, visit the Gadgets tab, tick "Yet Another AFC Helper Script", then click "Save". To find drafts to review, visit Special:NewPagesFeed ↗, and at the top left, tick "Articles for Creation". To review a draft, visit a submitted draft, click on the "More" menu, then click "Review (AFCH)". You can also comment on and submit drafts that are unsubmitted using the script.

You can review the AFC workflow at WP:AFCR ↗. It is up to you if you also want to mark your AFC accepts as NPP reviewed (this is allowed but optional, depends if you would like a second set of eyes on your accept). Don't forget that draftspace is optional ↗, so moves of drafts to mainspace (even if they are not ready) should not be reverted, except possibly if there is conflict of interest.

'''Pro tip''': Did you know that visual artists such as painters have their own SNG ↗? The most common part of this "creative professionals" criteria that applies to artists is WP:ARTIST ↗ 4b (solo exhibition, not group exhibition, at a major museum) or 4d (being represented within the permanent collections of two museums).

Articles made by User:Soumitrahazra

Hi, I am here to just ask you, or rather reach a consensus, regarding making a mass redirect of educational institution-related articles made by the said user, since most of them fail the general notability guidelines and specifically WP:NSCHOOL ↗. What is your idea regarding this? Pinging @BhikhariInformer, since he has participated in most of the XfDs. Is there some special noticeboard, where we can post this, to bring this into other's attention, and reach a consensus? <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 17:56, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

:Hey @Itcouldbepossible thanks for the ping. I did happen to see the user's history and most of the articles don't even have sources/citations to back them up. At most, the user has referenced directories which do not qualify as a wikipedia reliable source. I have not nominated all of them, but we would indeed really need a clean up Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 18:10, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

Also pinging User:Flyingphoenixchips to know their opinion regarding the matter. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 17:59, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

:@Itcouldbepossible and @Flyingphoenixchips, I support this, if we can group together most of the unsourced articles. I will say that this might be a little difficult though, as some may have some notability. This user has created 1,000+ pages ↗ Nevertheless, I do support some form of mass redirect, but would proceed with caution and attention to detail <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 21:21, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
::@Flyingphoenixchips The plan, as I have thought of, should start with the articles created by the user being filtered, based on their current size, which will provide an approximate count of the number of articles in the mainspace that the user has contributed. This will mainly help us focus on articles with minimal content. Alternatively, we could compare the original article size with the current size to gain a clearer understanding of the same.
::Following this, we will conduct the necessary notability checks for each article to ensure compliance, which will provide added assurance before taking any further action. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 01:15, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::@PrimeHunter It would be greatly appreciated if you could take some time out of your routine, to provide your input on this matter and let us know whether our proposed approach is appropriate. Only with your feedback can we proceed with a broader clean-up of articles that fail to meet notability standards. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 01:18, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
:::The only issue is we can't all of a sudden mass group and delete articles without consensus, that would as brought up by other editors before on this talkpage, overclutter the AFD and/or the PROD checking process <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 01:51, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::Yes, and that is precisely the reason behind me trying to find an appropriate place to discuss this before other senior editors. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 02:25, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
:::@Filmssssssssssss@ItcouldbepossibleSounds good to me. Could we potentially bring this issue to a noticeboard? As I see it, most of the non notable articles of the user either list no sources or simply list directories... so we could potentially filter things out based that? Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 17:07, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::@Flyingphoenixchips Yes, the idea of putting this up on a suitable noticeboard came to me earlier as well. But, I fail to understand which would be the most appropriate place to discuss these. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 17:09, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::Maybe we could tag one of the admins, that was involved in closing the AfDs in previous nominations involving the useɾ? @Itcouldbepossible Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 17:12, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::Yeah, we could surely do so. Whom should I tag? Any suggestions? @Flyingphoenixchips <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 17:14, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::@Itcouldbepossible Lemme tag some @Star Mississippi @Explicit @Spartaz tagging you all since you closed the AfDs of the concerned user before. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 17:21, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::it really depends on what you want to do. If it's redirect, I'd just boldly do a sample of 50 and see if anyone objects. If not do the rest. If its delete then you need some kind of discussion and some guys will oppose on principle just because it's content. Spartaz ''Humbug!'' 18:33, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::I would be open to redirect, as opposed to always deleting as an alternative to deletion. <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 18:35, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::thats easier to do at first. Potentially use AWB? Don't know if you need a bot approval to do 1000 but you can certainly get away with 50 as a sample Spartaz ''Humbug!'' 18:38, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::seems semi automated edits don't require bot approval WP:SEMIAUTOMATED ↗ Spartaz <sup>''Humbug!''</sup> 18:43, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Just noting I see this, @Flyingphoenixchips
::::::::Unfortunately I lack the on wiki time to dig into this but @Spartaz's idea of a test batch makes sense to me. <span style="color:#be33ff;">Star</span> <span style="color:#ff33da;">Mississippi</span> 18:38, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::I think this is a good idea, pinging @Itcouldbepossible and @Flyingphoenixchips. Could either of you proceed with doing this? I can also check the articles as well once the list is created. <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 18:57, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::@Filmssssssssssss@Flyingphoenixchips Yeah surely! I have got AWB access, and I can surely use it for making the redirects. I will be working on the list and letting you all know in due course of time. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 04:43, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::@Spartaz @Star Mississippi I would like to thank both of you for taking your valuable time, and commenting on the issue. Admin intervention - yes, that is kind of what we were looking for, before boldly doing such a huge task. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 04:45, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::But there is just one small problem regarding the use of auto wiki browser for this purpose. The problem is we are not going to redirect each and every article to one specific target, isn't it? So that would indeed be a problem. I think, it is best to take turns to review articles and redirect them manually. And another option can be to go through all the articles, and sort them based on the main University, and then make suitable redirects. Let me know what you all are thinking.

:::::::::::Something else that can be done is, go through articles present in particular categories, like <nowiki>Category:Colleges affiliated to North-Eastern Hill University ↗</nowiki> and so on, go through them, and do the needful. Or maybe go through templates like this ↗. That actually makes things easier for making AWB edits. We filter pages using that template, and then we go for redirecting them.
:::::::::::Don't know if this would be of much help, but anyone interested can surely have a look at this. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 05:05, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::@Itcouldbepossible, they look good to me, I think we can start the process of redirecting and/or putting them into AFD/PROD <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 15:27, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::Yeah surely. We can go for a review and redirect cycle, instead of going for AFDs... <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 15:37, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::::agree with this @Filmssssssssssss@Itcouldbepossible. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 18:51, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::{{done}} I have redirected all the articles listed in this template ↗, after going through most of them. ::::::::::::::::Bad redirects, the colleges are not mentioned at the target. Kelob2678 (talk) 13:51, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::@Kelob2678 has identified this issue, @Itcouldbepossible please mention the colleges in the redirect targets <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 14:12, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::The colleges are being redirected to their parent university. Am I missing something? <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 14:14, 12 April 2026 (UTC)

:::::::::::::::::::Sorry, I still can't get your point. You mean to say, the parent university page should have the name of the colleges? I am unsure what you are trying to tell me. If you could do one of them for me, then I could follow the same for the rest. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 14:17, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::::: @Itcouldbepossible Yes, I think you should add at least brief mentions of the colleges See here, Kiang Nangbah Government College is mentioned in the page Meghalaya ↗. Otherwise, if they are too non notable for even a redirect, we should get consensus for deletion. <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 14:52, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::::::So basically, I need to mention the colleges under Vidyasagar University ↗ since I redirected many articles to it recently. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 15:00, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::::::But, I think there is this ↗ for this already. Won't it be redundant additions? <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 15:01, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::::::::::::I'm not sure, apologies for that, I think we should wait for the admin to explain <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 15:03, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::@Kelob2678 Would you kindly take a moment to explain what you actually meant? I can make the required changes then. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 14:58, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::::::::The colleges should be mentioned at the redirect target page, see WP:RASTONISH ↗. I don't really understand how to explain this straightforward thing better. The issue here is that you chose a poor redirect target, you should have redirected to the towns in which the colleges are located or to various lists of colleges. Kelob2678 (talk) 15:14, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::::::::@Filmssssssssssss @Kelob2678 {{done}} Please have a look at this ↗, and kindly let me know if this was what you all were talking about. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 02:57, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::::::::::@Filmssssssssssss@Itcouldbepossiblejust wanted to update you guys, I will start working on this task tomorrow morning as well. Didn't get the substantial time to devote Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 02:59, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

:@Itcouldbepossible@Filmssssssssssss Hey guys, have a look at the articles created by these two users as well. I started working on mass redirects and came across this. Have nominated a few of them to AfDs for now, instead of simply a redirect. 2 usersː Okkchak Lyanaz Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 02:38, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
::@Flyingphoenixchips@Itcouldbepossible I saw these. Also look at User:Ramesh Ramaiah <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 12:42, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
:::Thanks. Have a look at this AfD. Not asking anyone to participate since that would constitute canvassing ↗ , but certain accounts seem to be systematically voting to keep non-notable articles, particularly those related to Manipur. This is not the first time I have encountered this pattern. Most of these articles have at most one reference or rely on directory listings to simulate sourcing. I had been keeping an eye on that specific user for sometime now. @Itcouldbepossible Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 04:23, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
::::@Flyingphoenixchips Since you are associated with that specific group, I would ask you to keep an eye on certain editors (not naming any), and do the needful. I do see some anomalies, but can't point my finger exactly on them. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 03:23, 22 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::Also have a look at @Coolcolney. The user was banned previously and have thousands of articles which are barely notable. I had nominated a few to AfD and feel like I overwhelmed the AfD process. @Itcouldbepossible@Filmssssssssssss Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 02:37, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::@Flyingphoenixchips Its time we bring in some administrator and perform a mass redirect. Jamming the AfC won't be worth it, and things would only get delayed. I will focus on these after I have finished with the drive that I am currently participating in. Great work FPC! <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 06:51, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::@Itcouldbepossible Also bringing to attention this specific user. At the moment I am not sure if its a paid editor or if they have a coi, but the activity is questionable enough. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/SaTnamZIN ↗ The user is also misusing canvassing tags to influence AfD outcomes, and edits are filled with Promotional content. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 13:15, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::::@Flyingphoenixchips I noticed the user long back. Will look into all these after I have finished with the drive. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 14:59, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::Talk:North-Eastern Hill University ↗ also just to make you guys aware, have a look at this page. The user seems to have prefered keeping the bloated puffed version of the stated article. Again yes, I agree that I am not definitively sure, for most parts. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 22:11, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::@Flyingphoenixchips I have noted the same. The removal made by you was clearly justified, while their addition was not. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 13:56, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Also if you notice, there is a strange similarity between their username, and the username of another established editor. Will not be getting into details for obvious reasons.
::::::::PS.: Might be coincidental, but just thought of letting you know. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 15:03, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::@Flyingphoenixchips @Itcouldbepossible I’m seeing these editors and it’s definitely ringing alarm bells. I also came across this page :Category:West Bengal university stubs ↗ And found hundreds of pages created by User:Soumitrahazra. I’ve already sent a considerable amount to AFD and PROD. Could either of you also look into the page above as well for potential mass redirect? I dont want to WP:NUKE ↗ them all just yet, but looking at many of the pages here, we could reduce the list considerably. Finally I do think looping in an admin experienced with this would be beneficial <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 16:23, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::I’ve already caught two in direct violation of WP:LLM ↗ and WP:COPYVIO ↗. I suspect there will be more just hidden away in the depths of Wikipedia <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 16:39, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::@Flyingphoenixchips @Itcouldbepossible Do you think taking this issue regarding these pages to ANI would be appropriate? Not sure if this would be fitting because user:Soumitrahazra ↗ seems to be on a WP:WIKIBREAK ↗ since February of this year. I've also found that most of the created pages focus on colleges and institutions in West Bengal though so that could make it a little easier to target and mass redirect <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 16:50, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::Lets not go for ANI at this moment, and do as much as possible from our ends. I don't think the community would support the notion of filing a case at ANI especially when the said user is not active. <b style="background:#bf4949;border:2px solid #000;padding:2px;color:#fffb8c;">Itcouldbepossible</b> Talk 17:42, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::Hey thanks for updating @Filmssssssssssss and I agree with @Itcouldbepossible to not go for ANI at the moment. I had a look at a couple of them, and they appear to be heavily promotional as well. I would like to note that we might also be dealing with a case of paid editing, as Wikipedia is the easiest way colleges can have AI search optimized for their colleges. Also Indian colleges tend to game the NIRF ↗ ranking systems, through paid means and basically push for media recognition. So at best, these coverage would end up being circular. This is just speculation, but a bunch of editors are voting keep based solely on the amount of such coverage which simply list a) the college being established b) and college getting the desired ranked. I still don't think this should be a metric for notability as thes can easily be bought and this holds true for both public as well as state universities/colleges. Also in India, NIRF uses a system called perception which is about 10% of the total rank weightage, and wikipedia articles are considered under it. So this at the end becomes circular.... rank based news are either paid or influenced by wikipedia sources... you cannot write much in an article based on such coverage... so users will make the article itself a college brochure with original research. News media will report based on that and hey, you got yourself a loop Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 21:49, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::Hey @HJ Mitchell, I am looping you in on this since you had commented about the AfDs and since you are an admin. What would you suggest for this? Would value your inputsǃ
:::::::::::Also answering your question on searching for coverage before nominating them to AfD.... yes I did do that, but bunch of the sources that were cited to support keep on those AfDs also mostly fell on the category I talked about in my above comment. But yes I respect the consensus. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 21:55, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::@BhikhariInformer tagging, since you had participated in the AfDs as well, and also to note why not all routine coverage can be considered notable Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 01:30, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::Thanks for the pings. I’ve read through the discussion, and while I may not have followed every detail, I've understood the core issue....large number of educational institution articles may not meet GNG, and we need a way to deal with them without overwhelming processes like AfD.
::::::::::::Given that a plethora of these articles have already been deleted/redirected through AfD, rather than finding a different approach, it will be more useful to build on the pattern that has already emerged from those discussions. Redirecting where appropriate still feels like a balanced approach, but care should be taken to ensure that the chosen targets actually mention the subject, so that the redirects remain meaningful to readers.
::::::::::::Beyond that, I don’t have much else to opine at the moment. Thanks! BhikhariInformer (talk) 05:58, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::As I was pinged: my suggestion is to explore alternatives to deletion wherever possible. If a college verifiably exists, there's probably a good redirect target. Redirecting is a lot less controversial, doesn't require a week at AfD, and is easily undone if sources turn up. I don't see many alternatives beyond AfDs one at a time or in small groups. <b style="color: teal; font-family: Tahoma">HJ&nbsp;Mitchell</b> &#124; <span style="color: navy; font-family: Times New Roman" title="(Talk page)">Penny for your thoughts?</span> 09:28, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::@SaTnamZIN Courtesy pinging you here, since you reach out to me on the AfD. This is the main reason why we are nominating articles for AfDs. '''We have no interest against these universities/colleges'''. I would rather want more coverage of India and Northeast in general. Significant Coverage is definitely not mere establishment announcements or regular ranking coverage. The reason why I suspected you as a paid editor is because you '''wanted to keep the heavily promotional fluff in these articles.''' Hello {{BASEPAGENAME}},

thumb|400px|New Page Review queue November 2025 - May 2026 ↗

'''Backlog update'''

At the time of this message, there are 15,282 articles and 32,951 redirects awaiting review.

After the January–February drive the article backlog was reduced to 15,179 articles and the redirect backlog to 19,053 respectively. Great job! However, both queues are growing rapidly and any additional reviews are highly appreciated.

'''2024 and 2025 NPP Awards'''

74px|left ↗{{no ping|JTtheOG}} was selected as the NPP reviewer of the year for both 2024 and 2025, for reviewing the most articles amongst all reviewers.
{{no ping|Hey man im josh}} and {{no ping|MPGuy2824}} won the Redirect Ninja Master Award for 2024 and 2025 respectively, for reviewing the most redirects.

Overall in 2024, one Platinum, two Gold, eight Silver, 12 Bronze and 45 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 66 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. In 2025, one Platinum, ten Silver, 13 Bronze and 38 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 38 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year.

{{no ping|BoyTheKingCanDance}}, {{no ping|Rosiestep}}, {{no ping|SunDawn}}, and {{no ping|Vanderwaalforces}} were inducted into the NPP Hall of Fame ↗ for having two separate years of 2,000+ article reviews.

'''January–February backlog drive'''

The experimental two-month long backlog drive concluded with 183 reviewers patrolling over 27,761 articles and 35,309 redirects, earning over 36,836 points. Congratulations to {{no ping|JTtheOG}}, who achieved first place with 6,484.6 points in this drive.

'''May backlog drive'''

An article-only backlog drive is currently underway. We are hoping to make a big dent in the backlog. You can read more about it or join at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Backlog drives/May 2026 ↗.

'''PageTriage'''

An attempt was made to get the New Pages Feed ↗ to sort by date marked as reviewed instead of date created. However we had to revert it due to bugs. We may try again in the future. You can subscribe to the Phabricator ticket ↗ if you're interested in following along.

:Most sources on this page I could find were ROUTINE and/or TRIVIAL. I recommend creating a redirect as an WP:ATD ↗ if a target could be found. Otherwise, another choice would be sending it to AFD. Many PROD for schools and universities

Hello, Good Day, see you are PROD-ing many articles quickly. Just at 16:11, 28 May 2026 you PROD-ed three articles. Are you searching for sources and references before PROD-ing this fast? What should be useful: not just checking the references present (or not present) in an article, many of the articles were create years (if not decade ago). Then NSCHOOL notability was also different. Very possibly new references might have been published after that. So some time can be spent to improve/expand/save the articles if that's possible. Regards. --Titodutta (talk ↗) 17:49, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

:@Titodutta thank you for the message, I will slow down my PROD-ing to more thoroughly check for sources. I just happened to notice that many of these articles are lacking sources or at best have sources that are simply institution rankings or from the institution itself. I understand your concern though (and others before) and will keep these in mind. Thanks, <span style="font-family: serif;"><b><i>Filmssssssssssss</i></b></span> (talk) 17:59, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

Re: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (2nd nomination) ↗

Hey there! Just wanted to give you a heads up that it looked like this AfD was missing {{tl|Afd bottom}} and there was a formatting error with a heading from the strikeout. The strikeout was didn’t cause any big issues but I think the missing template meant that it sorta “bled over” onto some unrelated AfDs on the log. I fixed this on the discussion itself so it ''should'' be good to go. <span style="color:DarkSeaGreen;">'''Netstars22'''</span> <span style="font-size:small; color:DeepSkyBlue;">'''(talk to me!)'''</span> 03:54, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
