Why are mixed pronoun usage considered “inconsistent”?

::Just because it’s commonly done, doesn’t mean it’s correct (socially or grammatically). Elliot Page is also often misgendered and deadnamed, does that mean his wikipedia page should reflect that? No, because those aren’t his pronouns or name and i’d argue their wikipedia page also should use both he and they pronouns since those are the pronouns he’s stated he uses. Any argument that a certain set/s of pronouns are confusing is a common transphobic piece of propaganda; if it is something that is genuinely confusing, the best way to get used to and understand it, is to be exposed to it.
