Capital letters

Hello β€” thank you for your contribution.

I noticed you recently changed the section headings to use ALL CAPS (or otherwise applied unnecessary capitalization). According to MOS:SECTIONCAPS β†—: "Use sentence case, not title case, in all section headings. Capitalize the first character of the first element if it is a letter, but leave the rest lower case except for proper names and other items that would ordinarily be capitalized in running text." I hope you can make the corrections when you have time. Thank you! 特磨 (talk) 15:03, 29 November 2025 (UTC)

Princess Marta of Kakheti

Hey there. Left you a note in my edit summary.https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Princess_Marta_of_Kakheti&diff=prev&oldid=1337199553 β†— Basically, I agree that there isn’t much information about her available. However, we still have two reasonably solid English-language WP:RS β†— supporting her existence, although the second reference is based on Thomas Herbert β†—'s travels. I’m fine with redirecting the article to David I of Kakheti β†— and integrating the relevant information into the David I and Shah Abbas the Great β†— articles. Feel free to proceed as you see fit. - LouisAragon (talk) 01:32, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

:Hi. In the genealogical tree, https://archive.org/details/toumanoff-1976-genealogie β†—, https://books.google.gr/books?id=qkBJAAAAcAAJ&vq=Brosset%20Bardzim%201574&hl=el&pg=PA635#v=onepage&q=1615&f=false β†—, there is no mention of β€œMarta,” but there is mention of Helen. There is also an unnamed daughter who married Shah Abbas in 1610.
:When the Russian ambassadors arrived in Kakheti to arrange marriages for Feodor II of Russia β†— and Xenia Borisovna of Russia β†—, they reported that the king (Alexander II of Kakheti) had grandchildrens, the childrens of King David: the seventeen-year-old Prince Teimuraz and the twelve-year-old Princess Helen.https://archive.org/details/russianembassies0002alle β†— (page 475)
:In 1604, King Alexander (who at that time was with the Shah) wrote to his son Prince Yuri (George, ruled kakheti during the absence of his father), ordering him to send King David’s childrensβ€”Prince Teimuraz and Princess Helenβ€”together with their mother to the Shah. Prince Yuri did so, and the Shah took King David’s daughter for himself. And there were no other princes or princesses in the Georgian land.https://archive.org/details/russianembassies0002alle β†— https://archive.org/details/russianembassies0002alle β†— (page 475, 476)
:Although, according to Persian sources, David I also had another younger son named β€œKeshish,” who arrived at the Persian court with his brother, he is not mentioned by the Russian ambassadors.
:My writing probably confused you, so in short: the Russian ambassadors who came to find spouses for the Russian royals mentioned only two children of David I. His daughter Helen married the Shah in 1604. If you want and still believe the article should not be deleted and are certain that Marta existed, you can do it. However, she is not mentioned by the Russian ambassadors, and if there had been another princess, they likely would have mentioned it. The article of Marta says she married the Shah in 1604, which may be a case of name confusion between Helen and Marta. Gergos10 (talk) 10:04, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

48px|left|alt=|link= β†—

Hello, Gergos10. This message concerns the Articles for Creation β†— submission or draft β†— page you started, "List of rulers of Tao-Klarjeti β†—".

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can '''request its undeletion''' β†—. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

30px|alt=Stop icon β†— You appear to be engaged in an '''edit war β†—'''. An ''edit war'' occurs when editors who disagree about the content of a page repeatedly revert each other's changes. Please '''do not revert or undo''' the edits made by other editors when your changes are reverted. Instead, use the '''talk page β†—''' to discuss how the page can represent consensus β†— among the editors involved. Here is some advice on how to do this β†—. If discussions get stuck, you can request a third opinion β†—, ask for help at a relevant noticeboard β†—, or seek dispute resolution β†—.

'''Edit warring can result in being blocked from editing β†—''', especially if you violate the three-revert rule β†—, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts β†— within 24 hours on one page. Undoing any other editor's work, in whole or in part, involving the same or different material, is a revert. You can still be blocked for edit warring '''even if you do not violate the three-revert rule''' should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.<!-- Template:uw-3rr --> Noorullah (talk) 04:07, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
