For the still copyrighted shorts, do not upload a video for them (until the copyright actually expires). Just improve the plot summaries - if too long, downsize it, if too short, expand it. Per my research, "You generally cannot copyright a simple movie title in plain text. However, the artistic design, specific typography, background illustration, and layout of a title card constitute a piece of original artwork and are protected by copyright as long as the film is." When you don't like the outcome of a discussion the solution is to go to DRV or discuss with the closing admin, not edit warring over the redirect, what I have had to protect to ensure it sticks.
