You may be eligible to vote in the U4C election
<section begin="announcement-content" />
I am contacting you because you previously voted in elections related to the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) ↗. You may be eligible to vote in the current U4C election, which is open now and closes on 2 June 2026. You can find out more about the candidates and the election on the election page on Meta ↗, and from there you can access the vote itself. Your participation in these elections is important to the governance of Wikimedia communities, and your time spent learning about the candidates and voting is appreciated.

Talk:Akihabara massacre ↗
Hi, sorry I missed this RM - please could you relist it as I would like to oppose? This event is nowhere near the threshold where WP:NOYEAR ↗ applies IMHO, and per the previous RM on the subject. The vast majority of similar articles have a year included, which makes the subject easier for readers to recognize. Thanks — Amakuru (talk) 12:15, 6 June 2026 (UTC)

Contested move closure at Stone Cold Steve Austin ↗
Hello! I am the nominator and I saw the RM closed as "not moved". I only saw 1 person oppose. In my opinion, this should be relisted or closed as "no consensus". Just wanted to let you know. <span style="font-family: Georgia; background-color:green; padding: 2px 3px 1px 3px;"><span style="color: white">Robloxguest3</span> <span style="color: white">(talk)</span>{{#invoke:Icon|main}}</span> 18:50, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
:Hello. The outcome of move discussions are not based on votes indicated by bolded text but rather by the content of the arguments given and how they align with Wikipedia guidelines and policy (per WP:RMCIDC ↗). When looking at the responses to the RM, I found at least two comments opposing the change based on consistency, commonality, and previous move discussions, and the other two didn't explicitly claim a position on the RM. Taken together, I considered the lack of firm support coupled with explicit oppositions to mean the consensus was against the requested move. If you still disagree with my assessment in closing the , you are free to initiate a move review ↗. ―<span style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 1px; border-radius: 5px;"><b>Howard</b> • 🌽33</span> 19:06, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
::That was not what I mean. I am '''not''' counting by votes. Actually, from what I see, 2 people weren't sure about. They <u>did not</u> '''support nor oppose the RM'''. So I would '''suggest relisting''' here. <span style="font-family: Georgia; background-color:green; padding: 2px 3px 1px 3px;"><span style="color: white">Robloxguest3</span> <span style="color: white">(talk)</span>{{#invoke:Icon|main}}</span> 21:35, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
:::After reading through the discussion again, I suspect you may be right. I will relist it for another time, although I hope it doesn't go on for much longer as 20 days have already gone by since it was started. ―<span style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 1px; border-radius: 5px;"><b>Howard</b> • 🌽33</span> 09:10, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

It appears that you may have done a mistake
You deleted the article for the Russian Federation Council, I did '''<u>''NOT''</u>''' want for this to happen, rather the fact that I would prefer the name change instead. The Federation Council should be very notable with a lot of reliable sources in it's path.
I request instead for the article to be reinstated/restored with it's latest revision/edition being readded.
Cheers

Re: The Heavy edits
If it helps, a lot of that was trying to follow existing consensus on Manual of Style regarding how the articles are set up, particularly in regards to layout and structure (a dev section, an appearances section, promotion and reception, etc) that helps give the articles a uniform style for the most part, with some variation. It also helps avoid single-paragraph sections, as these tend to be disliked per consensus over the years and seen better merged with another seciton if possible, especially in character articles.
As for the baseball bit, I was referencing inside baseball ↗, shorthand for saying it's a minute detail that doesn't add much to the article except those really invested in knowing what's going on under the hood. Kung Fu Man (talk) 07:49, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
:I was not aware of a consistent manual of style for video game characters, but I was inspired somewhat by the layout on Tracer (Overwatch) ↗. I will try to address the single paragraphs by adding further content to the relevant sections. ―<span style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 1px; border-radius: 5px;"><b>Howard</b> • 🌽33</span> 08:06, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
::Yeah there are some outliers, though in general most articles try to follow the same format. I've worked with the person behind Tracer on a few articles as it were.
::By the way, if you are doing more of these and have Engineer on your todo, check Bastion (Overwatch) ↗ and Torbjorn (Overwatch) ↗'s reception sections, both have a source each that discuss the perception regarding his turrets that may help.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 08:13, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Thank you for informing me, I'll take a look at other articles to get a better reference. I also thank you for some of the edits as those were good ideas. ―<span style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 1px; border-radius: 5px;"><b>Howard</b> • 🌽33</span> 16:28, 29 June 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Laocoön (Blake) ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.
