Sanaa El Aji ↗ moved to draftspace

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thanks for contributing to the article Ernesto Schiaparelli ↗. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable ↗ and attributed to reliable sources ↗. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored ↗, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference ↗ and is not acceptable. 25px|alt=|link= ↗ Your addition to :Bandali Jawzi ↗ has been removed or altered, as it appears to '''closely paraphrase ↗''' a copyrighted source. Limited close paraphrasing ↗ or quotation ↗ is appropriate within reason, so long as the material is clearly attributed in the text ↗. However, longer paraphrases, especially if they are not attributed to their source, may constitute copyright violation ↗ or plagiarism ↗, and are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Such content cannot be hosted here for legal reasons ↗; please do not post it on any page, even if you plan to fix it later. You may use external websites or printed material as a source of ''information'', but not as a source of ''sentences''. This part is crucial: ''say it in your own words''.

If you own the copyright to the text, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you ''must'' verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗. If you are not the owner of the copyright but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators '''will be blocked from editing ↗'''. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-paraphrase --> GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 08:38, 5 October 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Jobs in ancient Egypt

Hello Idris1965,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Ewhite31, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Jobs in ancient Egypt ↗, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Ancient Egypt ↗. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can <span class="plainlinks">'''in ancient Egypt}}&action=edit&section=new&preload=Template:Hangon_preload&preloadtitle=This+page+should+not+be+speedy+deleted+because...+ contest this deletion ↗'''</span> but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Jobs+in+ancient+Egypt&subtype=delete|deleting administrator}}.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Ewhite31<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And, don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . Thanks!

You have also mistakenly moved my page “Ancient Egyptian culture” to “culture of Egypt” which is a different page and has its own separate page in Spanish, French, Arabic, etc.….

Attribution is provided by saying in your edit summary that the material was copied/translated, and where you got it.
