I was looking up a Mr Benjamin Flounders, my 7x great grandfather and his involvement in the design, prototype, build and roll out of the very first steam locomotve engine in the world.

I realised immediately that a lot of the information held is incorrect and I wanted to put that right so that he gets the recognition he deserves, I have quite a few bits to edit - even the information about his marriages, birth of children and his dispute with Lowe are all incorrect. Benjamin also loaned STEPHENSON £500 to build the prototype and first locomotive - he was never paid back. So, that is why I am here.
