Draft:Ellie Walker
Hello @JaumeBG - I am OK to release Draft:Ellie Walker ↗, thanks for the work on this. However there is a 19 year old create protection order on it, which I will need to get rescinded. The original administrator appears still to be active (it must have been about someone else given the subject is only 26 years old), so I will work in the background with them. May take a few days. ChrysGalley (talk) 10:59, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
:Hi @ChrysGalley. Thanks for that — much appreciated! Yes, it appears someone kept creating a page for a non-notable person of the same name back in 2007. Great, I'll await that from the admins and yourself. Thanks — have a good day. '''<span style="color:#ff9400">JaumeBG</span>''' <small style="color:#ff9400">(talk)</small> 11:13, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
::{{lang|ca|Merci}} @JaumeBG - the page has been moved by the administrator to mainspace. ChrysGalley (talk) 12:35, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs
Thank you for your recent articles, including Endeavor: Deep Sea ↗, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section ↗. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list by clicking the big blue button at WP:DYKNOM ↗. <small>Alternatively you can use the following user script: User:SD0001/DYK-helper. Which can be activated with one click after turning automatic script intallation in your Preferences->Gadgets (check the "Install scripts without having to manually edit JavaScript files" option and save page; then visit the DYK-helper page and click install; then go to your new article and you'll find the new DYK menu).</small> Let me know if you need help, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus|<span style="color:#7CFC00;background:#006400;"> reply here</span> 07:13, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
:Thanks for your kind words and glad to hear you enjoyed reading the article. I have in fact added it to a DYK nomination ↗ — incidentally, my first ever. I have added a possible DYK hook but if you have any feedback or anything let me know. It would definitely be awesome if it could feature as a DYK. '''<span style="color:#ff9400">JaumeBG</span>''' <small style="color:#ff9400">(talk)</small> 07:09, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
::Looks good, although I think you need a new hook (see my review at DYK nom). For the article, I'd add BGG average rating.
::On a side note, I'd like to invite you to join (watchlist...) Wikipedia:WikiProject Board and table games ↗. It's not very active, but it's a good place to know about. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus|<span style="color:#7CFC00;background:#006400;"> reply here</span> 07:42, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Thanks {{u|Piotrus}}. I have added a sentence about the BGG rating on the article now. Also, I have joined WikiProject Board and table games ↗ and added the userbox to my page. Looking forward to helping with that WikiProject when I can! '''<span style="color:#ff9400">JaumeBG</span>''' <small style="color:#ff9400">(talk)</small> 09:16, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

New Zealand women's national football team
Greetings @JaumeBG,
Thank you for updating the current squad Caps and Goals after the latest matches. Pleae remember to also add the player numbers as they are the secondary key after position. It is a shame that some people remove all the numbers when there is a new call-up.
Cheers, Rklingmann (talk) 18:52, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
:Thanks for your message. I've now added the squad numbers. I usually remember to add the numbers but looks like I forgot this time. Have a good day! '''<span style="color:#ff9400">JaumeBG</span>''' <small style="color:#ff9400">(talk)</small> 08:21, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
::Greetings @JaumeBG, There were still some problems with the current squad so I back tracked and saw that you were the person that updated the list with the June Call-ups. Is there a reason that you excluded Mae Hunt from the Squad. Also, why are you removing the Player numbers? It makes the most sense to retain the numbers of the returning players and only blank the numbers of the new call-ups. Since the player number is the secodary key it does not require you to then re-sort those players. Also, after the sort, the new players are readily identifiable. The speed of updating the list after the new call-ups and updating the list after the matches are played is greatly increased and less likely to contain errors. If you are unsure of what I am describing please reach out to me. I also noticed that the player numbers of the unused substitutes appear to be bogus. This often happens with less popular matches. I'll add Mae Hunt to the current squad and try to locate the missing numbers.
::Cheers, Rklingmann (talk) 06:40, 20 June 2026 (UTC)
:::I think I must've missed the Mae Hunt call-up in the press release. Human error. Are the player numbers the same from match to match? If so, I can definitely look to keep them from one call up to the next. There's a severe lack of information online for these matches, which is why I came across the bogus numbers. Photos 2026 Super Rugby Pacific Final
Hi there! I've noticed that you're adding photos of the final. I appreciate your efforts to make these photos and adding them to articles, but I'm sorry to say that unfortunately many of the photos are too blurry (e.g., the second photo of Ere Enari is still way too blurry). Not sure, but possibly it's because they are often part of a larger photo (with many pixels). I'd recommend playing a bit with the photo size in a photo editor to get the optimal size that produces a sharp photo. I also recommend cropping some photos a bit more so that the subject of the photo is more centered and there's not too much green space (example: the photo of Kini Naholo). Just wondering, are you doing this on a phone, because that would explain why you're not seeing they are so blurry. Sorry, again, I appreciate the effort, but the blurriness is really problem. Ruggalicious (talk) Ruggalicious (talk) 10:46, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
:Hey {{u|Ruggalicious}}, I don't have any photo editing software and am using a camera I bought this year (but it's from 2018). So just trying my best to use it properly as well as I can. Is there any photo editing software you recommend that is easy to use and free? I do see that some photos are blurry, as I uploaded them from my laptop, but in my opinion some slightly blurry photos are better than no photos at all. However, photos that are way too blurry can definitely be removed. I think many of them are decent quality. I can look to crop the Naholo photo another day. '''<span style="color:#ff9400">JaumeBG</span>''' <small style="color:#ff9400">(talk)</small> 11:06, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
::Have you uploaded the best possible photos? If you like, I can download the original (non-cropped) photos, improve them - where possible - with the photo editor on my computer, crop them per player and then upload them again (obviously crediting you as the owner). I've downloaded the photo of Isaia Walker-Leawere and tried it, and although the original isn't sharp, there is some improvement possible. Making them square is also better for infoboxes. Ruggalicious (talk) Ruggalicious (talk) 11:19, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Yeah, I've uploaded the best ones. We were quite high up so a bit far from the action, and with Hnry Stadium not being rectangular, that doesn't help much for an amateur photographer. I have other photos I took, but some of them were blurrier or otherwise repeats (e.g. several photos of Ruben Love, Cam Roigard, etc.). I'm happy for you to work on any of the photos on Commons ↗. I can send you a few photos (repeats) if you like that I haven't uploaded, as maybe you can do something with those? Let me know. I can then email them to you. Although I just checked how to email other Wikipedians and it looks like emailing through Wikipedia I can't attach photos. Not sure what to do here.
:::Let me know how you go with the Walker-Leawere photo. '''<span style="color:#ff9400">JaumeBG</span>''' <small style="color:#ff9400">(talk)</small> 11:27, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Yes, emailing them might work better. I have not enabled email, but I can do that temporarily (I have to check how to do that first), so you can email me. If you put an email address in the email you send me via Wiki, I can reply to you directly (outside Wikipedia) and then you have my email address, too, and can use that to email photos. After working on them in my editor, I can also email the edited photos back. Is that an idea? Ruggalicious (talk) 11:41, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::Yes, that sounds like a plan. I will try to send the email tomorrow! Logging off now for the day. '''<span style="color:#ff9400">JaumeBG</span>''' <small style="color:#ff9400">(talk)</small> 11:49, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

:::::::@JaumeBG I have replied! Ruggalicious (talk) 07:54, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:I have also been finding your work very grateful JuameBG, however just wanted to mention that one of the images was incorrectly labelled. File:Jone Rova.jpg: this image is not Jone Rova ↗, but is actually Peter Lakai ↗. MarioBayo (talk) 14:32, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
::{{ping|MarioBayo}} Thanks for pointing that out. I did Google and go on the Hurricanes website to figure out different players, but looks like I didn't do a good job at all there for Rova and Lakai. Also, another Wikipedian removed the image I had for Lakai as it appears I got that one wrong too. Jeez — that's on me. Now removed. I'll look to rename the images for some of the players.
