Notability of :ZeosLib ↗
left ↗Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on :ZeosLib ↗, by {{#ifeq:1|1|99.243.1.248 (talk '''·''' contribs ↗),}} another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted ↗ from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because :ZeosLib ↗ is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion ↗, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites ↗. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.<br><br>To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting :ZeosLib ↗, please affix the template <nowiki>{{hangon}}</nowiki> to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD ↗. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that '''this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.''' --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:24, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of :Image:IMOD-A.Novel.Drug.Against.Aids.jpg ↗
32px|left ↗ A tag has been placed on :Image:IMOD-A.Novel.Drug.Against.Aids.jpg ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright ↗ infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of ''information'', but not as a source of ''sentences''. This part is crucial: ''say it in your own words''.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include ''on the external site'' the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License ↗, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗ for more details, or ask a question here ↗.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding <code>{{tl|hangon}}</code> to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on '''the article's talk page ↗''' explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for ''speedy'' deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Nik Yousefi ↗ moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Nik Yousefi ↗, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable ↗, independent sources ↗. <small>(? ↗)</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability ↗ is of central importance ↗ on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace ↗ (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline ↗ and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — <span style="color:#000000; font-weight:bold;">Tulsi</span> <span style="color:#FF0000; font-weight:bold;">24x7</span> 03:37, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

Translation issue
I noticed that you included Merab Merabishvili ↗ in the list for People's Artist of the Georgian SSR. However, this is not true, he never received the title People's Artist of the Georgian SSR (საქართველოს სსრ სახალხო არტისტი/Народный артист Грузинской ССР), but it seems that he was actually awarded only საქართველოს სსრ სახალხო მხატვარი/Народный художник Грузинской ССР, which is roughly People's Illustrator or Painter of the Georgian SSR (it often gets translated poorly, but it is distinct from the People's Artist award). Furthermore, it was awarded well over 132 times. Please take some time to fact check your list with original Georgian sources, this translation issue sadly permeates English sources a lot.--CitationAuditor (talk) 23:07, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
:@CitationAuditor Hi, Thank you for your message, and my apologies for late reply. I will do more research, and update the article and will let you know. Thanks again and have a great day. Mamouri (talk) 12:20, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
:{{Re|CitationAuditor}} Thank you again for catching this and for explaining it so clearly — you were quite right. Merab Merabishvili ↗ held the title in the visual-arts sense ({{lang|ka|საქართველოს სსრ სახალხო მხატვარი}} / Народный художник), which is a separate decoration from the performers' title ({{lang|ka|სახალხო არტისტი}} / Народный артист). I have corrected his article and removed him from the performers' navigation template. Taking your wider advice, I went back through the whole list and re-checked each name against the Georgian Biographical Dictionary, Georgian and Russian Wikipedia, and the Georgian National Encyclopedia. A few results: Nodar Managadze ↗ in fact held only Honoured Art Worker of the Georgian SSR ({{lang|ka|ხელოვნების დამსახურებული მოღვაწე}}), not People's Artist, so I have removed him from the list and corrected his article; and I have fixed a number of articles that were wrongly linking the republican title to the all-Union People's Artist of the USSR ↗ article. On the other hand, the People's Artist of the USSR attributions I had made — for example Akaki Vasadze (1936), Petre Amiranashvili (1950), David Andguladze (1950), Iliko Sukhishvili (1958), Dodo Antadze (1971), Sharakh Pachalia (1982), Giga Lortkipanidze (1979), Siko Dolidze (1965) and others — all checked out against the original decrees. I am continuing to add the precise award years and a few further republican titles that the Georgian sources confirm (such as People's Artist of the Armenian SSR for some of the Armenian-Georgian actors). Thank you once more; pointing me to the original Georgian sources was exactly the right call. Mamouri (talk) 04:16, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
: Thank you for your good work and taking the time to do the review, I can tell you put in a lot of effort to be thorough. If you haven't already, you may want to check out the website of the National Parlimentary Library of Georgia, at https://dspace.nplg.gov.ge/ which has many Georgian periodicals, photographs, and documents. Unfortunately the OCR on the Georgian language periodicals is extremely limited meaning most are not functionally searchable, so often I have to search for information in Russian ones since the Cyrilic OCR is more advanced. https://georgianencyclopedia.ge/ has most volumes of the Georgian Soviet Encyclopedia available online for free too, and is another great resource for researching People's Artists of the Georgian SSR.--CitationAuditor (talk) 22:51, 24 June 2026 (UTC)

Siko Dolidze death date
Thank you for creating the article about Siko Dolidze, we really needed it. I noticed that the article originally said that he died on 17 July 1983. However, this was not true - he died on 17 '''June''' 1983, which is evident by his death announcement on page 2 in the Georgian newspaper Komunisti, available for free at https://dspace.nplg.gov.ge/bitstream/1234/458344/1/Komunisti_1983_N140.pdf Also, his full obituary was published on 21 June 1983 in https://dspace.nplg.gov.ge/bitstream/1234/458348/1/Komunisti_1983_N142.pdf Please keep in mind that Soviet encyclopedias often have typos in dates, so it is always best to cross-check other sources and search for the original obituaries for people to confirm their date of death. Award dates often have typos too, so it is always good to check the official decrees that bestow the awards to confirm the dates by checking newspapers at the National Library website or issues of Vedomosti at the National Library of Armenia https://tert.nla.am/mamul/SSRM19381954/NLA.html
That being said, you are still doing good work, and this was clearly the result of an honest mistake stemming from errors in original sources. Please keep up the good work creating new articles, and don't get discouraged by unfair deletion nominations or contradictory sources. If you ever need ideas for new articles, please consider writing articles about some of the recipients of the Shota Rustaveli Prize ↗, many people in the list don't have English articles yet.--CitationAuditor (talk) 14:30, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
Reference advice
Please consider using the Cite encyclopedia template ↗ when creating a reference to the Georgian Soviet Encyclopedia ↗, and including the Georgian-language article title the way it is in the encyclopedia in your citation. You can also add the url of the volume you are citing from the Georgian Encylopedia website, such as https://georgianencyclopedia.ge/pdf/1.pdf for citations to Volume 1.
For example, instead of writing your citation as:
- Tsulukidze, A. (1975). "Amiranashvili, Petre". ''Georgian Soviet Encyclopedia ↗''. Vol. 1. Tbilisi. p. 396, you can use the template and write
- <nowiki>{{cite encyclopedia|last=Tsulukidze|first=A|date=1975|title=ამირანაშვილი პეტრე ვარლამის ძე|language=ka|encyclopedia=Georgian Soviet Encyclopedia ↗|volume=1|location=Tbilisi|page=396|url=https://georgianencyclopedia.ge/pdf/1.pdf|trans-title=Amiranashvili Petre Varlamis dze}}</nowiki>
to make a citation that looks like {{cite encyclopedia|last=Tsulukidze|first=A|date=1975|title=ამირანაშვილი პეტრე ვარლამის ძე|language=ka|encyclopedia=Georgian Soviet Encyclopedia ↗|volume=1|location=Tbilisi|page=396|url=https://georgianencyclopedia.ge/pdf/1.pdf|trans-title=Amiranashvili Petre Varlamis dze}} which is more complete and makes verification easier. Providing a wikilink to the Georgian Soviet Encyclopedia ↗ article is helpful too.--CitationAuditor (talk) 18:04, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
