Welcome!

Hello, Marcorivignani, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions ↗. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page :ITA Airways ↗ did not conform to Wikipedia's '''verifiability policy ↗''', and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a '''reliable source ↗''' for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research ↗ in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the '''guide for citing sources ↗''' or come to ''' The Teahouse ↗''', where experienced Wikipedians ↗ can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm WikiPate. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ryanair ↗, but you didn't provide a reliable source ↗ which is needed per WP:PROVEIT ↗. Planespotters and Airfleets.net are '''not''' reliable references. You can have a look at referencing for beginners ↗. <br>frameless|upright=4.5 ↗ <br><!-- Template:uw-unsourced1 --> WikiPate (talk) 09:13, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

:However, I have noticed that practically every airline fleet section uses these sites as sources, so all of them are invalid? Marcorivignani (talk) 13:46, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
:Also, is Ryanair's website a reliable source of their fleet composition or not? Just asking Marcorivignani (talk) 13:50, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
::Read WP:RS ↗ to see which kind of sources are reliable. Both sources fail the criteria.<br><br>On Wikipedia:Planespotters.net ↗ in the section "consensus" you see that this source is not reliable.<br><br>The two mentioned sources can be rather found in less important airline articles on Wikipedia. For major airlines like Wizz Air and Easyjet both sources are not used anymore.<br><br>Stating a reliable source has become more important on Wikipedia recently, so your edits may be reverted if you state no source or an unreliable one. Using the company itself as a source is not the best way to go.<br><br>For an Airbus fleet the Airbus Orders&Deliveries document can be used. For a Boeing fleet it's somewhat more difficult. A reliable article of a news website or an annual report can be used. The latter one is from the company itself, but has to follow certain publishing laws which take care that the stated information is correct. WikiPate (talk) 16:28, 12 January 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that one or more recent edits you made did not have an edit summary ↗. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary ↗, or by discussion on the talk page ↗. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief ↗.

The edit summary field looks like this:
{{Edit summary field/OOUI}}

or in the visual editor:
{{Edit summary field/VisualEditor}}

{{strong|Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make.}} When logged in to your Wikipedia account ↗, you can give yourself a reminder by setting {{myprefs|3|check={{int:tog-forceeditsummary}}}}, and then click the "{{int:saveprefs}}" button.

:Sorry for the inconvenience caused, I will start adding the description for every update I make Marcorivignani (talk) 22:37, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not add or change content, as you did at :Copa Airlines ↗, without citing a reliable source ↗. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources ↗ to see how to add references to an article. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-unsourced2 --> <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 14:46, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

:Hi, I simply copied the fleet information form the linked Wingo Panama page which provides as a source: "Global Airline Guide 2025 - Wingo Panama". ''Airliner World''. September 2025. p. 70. Marcorivignani (talk) 15:55, 31 March 2026 (UTC)
::That doesn't absolve you of the requirement to provide reliable sources? <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> <sub>tweaks made ↗</sub></span> 06:38, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
:::The reliable source is in the dedicated page for the cargo division, if I have to copy and paste the same source again I will do it. No problem Marcorivignani (talk) 12:51, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
::::If the source is in the dedicated page then it must be copied over. Wikipedia itself is not a reliable source per WP:CIRCULAR ↗, so simply linking to another article doesn’t constitute providing sources. We also don’t expect readers to go hunting for sources - we provide them for readers to use. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 14:06, 1 April 2026 (UTC)

Citation titles

Please stop using all caps in your citations - it breaches MOS:CAPS ↗. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 10:12, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

:The title of the cited articles are all caps. I simply copied them Marcorivignani (talk) 14:26, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
::Please don't. It's expected that we change it to sentence case, again per MOS:CAPS ↗. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> <sub>tweaks made ↗</sub></span> 14:31, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
:::I was not aware of this policy. I will fix it as soon as possible Marcorivignani (talk) 14:33, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

WP:SYNTH ↗

Looks like a few of your edits have been reverted. Your Greek route cancellations, for example, give dates that are not mentioned in the cited web page. Please don't do this. 10mmsocket (talk) 10:42, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

:The date are present on the ryanair route page. If I have to include every single one separately I will do it when I have the time Marcorivignani (talk) 14:25, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
::That's the point of WP:SYNTH ↗ & WP:V ↗ - you must have a reference that is directly verifiable with one click and contained with the reference. Thanks. 10mmsocket (talk) 14:53, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
:@Marcorivignani you are still doing this - moving routes from seasonal to non-seasonal or vice versa, and the source says nothing at all about them being seasonal or not. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 14:32, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
::Yes, I am doing what is already written in the other page (the destination airport) and the link inside the source already provided. I am gonna list another source just to be more clear. Ok? Marcorivignani (talk) 14:46, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
:::I read the source that's already there, and there was no mention at all of the route being seasonal. If you're going off information from another article then you need to copy over the source that verifies that it's seasonal. <span class="nowrap"><span style="color: RebeccaPurple">Danners430</span> tweaks made ↗</span> 15:04, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
