Yo! Welcome to my talk page! You can ask any questions here. You can ping me whenever you want, I don't find that really annoying or rude. But I'm busy when it's 14:00–22:00 and 23:00–08:00 UTC WAIT, note that I have the final exam that takes up almost the whole June so I may not reply to responses under 1 or 2 hours because I have to study!!!

:Thanks for telling me that! I'm new to Wikipedia and I didn't know that.In the page Planetary-mass moon,I changed some of the moons' mass, density and size because they were different from their main pages. These are probably the old data. Notably in List of solar system objects by size,I changed Dysnomia's (Eris' moon) mass from 500×10¹⁸ to 82×10¹⁸. 500×10¹⁸ is too much. In the main page of Dysnomia it's said that Dysnomia only has 82×10¹⁸ and Oberon's density is 1.682 g/cm³ as it said on its main page, Sorry for not using the edit summary,I should have done that,I will use the edit summary from now on. Sorry for bad English (English is my second language) Thanks for reading! My planet is Homlos (talk) 13:16, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

:I thought it is useful because it's a cool fact that Ilmarë is the 2nd largest irregular moon after Proteus, Ilmarë is a forgotten moon and it's really underrated despite being larger than Mimas(Smallest Spherical moon) But I think I was wrong so it's not useful. Why does it not appear constructive though? I want to know. My planet is Homlos (talk) 09:35, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
::I actually edited it to prevent it from being a forgotten moon that nobody talks about, Because ilmarë is just pretty cool,I really like it, Although it may not appear constructive to you. Ilmarë's shape is uncertain, but it's likely to be non-spherical so I thought it's the 2nd largest irregular moon. My planet is Homlos (talk) 09:51, 13 September 2025 (UTC)

Dwarf planets
Howdy! I've noticed your recent edits to several TNO articles. I appreciate the cleanup of outdated values from their infoboxes, but I do have a few issues with your other edits, namely your mass addition to Weywot ↗ and use of "aren't" in Achlys ↗. For Weywot, we don't know its mass yet because we haven't measured it (through scientific techniques like observations). I don't trust news articles when it comes to giving facts on astronomical objects, because there's always going to be an inaccuracy somewhere (and plus, your Universe Today article is from 2015, which is very outdated). For Achlys, you should keep in mind that contractions like "aren't" and "can't" are not allowed on Wikipedia because they're considered informal writing (there's a rule about this, see MOS:CONTRACTIONS ↗).
I see you're new here and are clearly interested in Solar System objects, so... welcome I guess! I'm one of the few active Wikipedia editors here who specialize in dwarf planets and TNOs, so if you have questions or need any help, feel free to ask me. For help on editing astronomy articles in general, I highly recommend joining WikiProject Astronomy ↗ and asking questions there on the talk page ↗. I saw that you were talking about Varda's moon on the Teahouse, and I'm gonna be honest, it's very embarrassing to see non-astronomy experts not understanding your question there... haha. <span style="font-size:103%; color: #528a2d">'''Nrco0e'''</span> <span style="font-size:85%">(talk • contribs ↗)</span> 17:54, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
:I see... We don't trust news articles and don't use contractions. But I really don't know there's just a few editors who specialize in TNOs and Dwarf planet candidates! I'm interested in them just because I make poor animations about the solar system (Dwarf planets too) on YouTube, and when I'm animating the dwarf planets I realized there's so much more dwarf planets other than those 5! I think IAU should consider Quaoar, Gonggong, Orcus,Sedna, Salacia... to be dwarf planets. And you are right Yes,Cia Pan thought Ilmarë is not a moon, it's an Indonesian flower! My planet is Homlos (talk) 23:14, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
::Also I have a question,In Achlys's individual page,It said objects between 400-1000 km with density lower than 1.2g/cm³ is highly unlikely to be spherical. Why is Mimas Spherical? It's even under 400 km and with a density lower than 1.2 g/cm³ My planet is Homlos (talk) 23:27, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
:::The Grundy et al. paper that mentions the 400-1000 km number does not say anything about shape and sphericalness, but it does relate it to hydrostatic equilibrium (keep in mind that there are some spherical objects like Iapetus ↗ that are not in hydrostatic equilibrium). It just says that TNOs in that size range tend to have very low densities because they have highly porous ↗ interiors (think: like a sponge), which suggests that their gravity isn't strong enough to collapse those pores (which in turn means not in hydrostatic equilibrium).
:::Temperatures are a lot colder in the Kuiper belt than at Saturn. KBOs are mostly made of water ice, which becomes stiffer ↗ at colder temperatures (mentioned in here ↗. There's also this paper ↗ that goes into more detail, but you need to be in university to read it unfortunately.) This is why Proteus ↗ at Neptune is not spherical even though it's slightly bigger than Mimas. Also worth mentioning that rocky objects like Vesta can be much bigger than Mimas, but can still have non-spherical shapes because rock is much stiffer than ice at the same temperature. <span style="font-size:103%; color: #528a2d">'''Nrco0e'''</span> <span style="font-size:85%">(talk • contribs ↗)</span> 23:59, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
::::Thx for the Answer:) My planet is Homlos (talk) 08:14, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
:Hi Nrco0e, I'm now starting to think every edit I do in Wikipedia gets me in trouble all the time. I changed Aya's short description to Possible dwarf planet because in its individual page,in its physical characteristics. It says that Some astronomers consider Aya as a possible dwarf planet, and in that part, there's a source already,so I thought changing this won't get me in trouble, also I cleaned up its old estimation of its rotation period , keeping the new one. And you appreciated me before for a similar reason of cleaning up the TNOs old data. I kept it source but all of this including changing Aya's short description into possible dwarf planet is reverted. I'm now too scared to touch Wikipedia. I now might think that banning me is the right option. Who's right? It's Criticize who reverted my edits. I sent him the source of why some astronomers consider Aya as a possible dwarf planet.

Hello, and welcome
Hello, {{u|My planet is Homlos}}! We've crossed paths a few times now, mainly on astronomy articles. In some cases, this involved reverting your edits. So, I thought I'd say hello and share a few thoughts. I hope those will be helpful. If you don't understand what I'm saying, feel free to ask. Don't forget to <nowiki>{{ping|Renerpho}}</nowiki> ping me so that I don't miss it.
I appreciate your interest in the subject. In fact, we need more editors to keep our astronomy articles in shape! You're welcome, even if -- as you say yourself -- you're quite young, and may have a lot to learn (about the subject, and in general). I know that Wikipedia's rules can be a bit frustrating. Don't worry, you'll learn your way around this place if you stay here and listen to the points that other users make. There are some great editors who started when they were quite young. Many of them have made some strange edits in their early days that they would not make today. Forgive me for saying this: The lack of age often comes with a lack of "common sense", and an overestimation of how much they know... Wikipedia welcomes users of any age, provided they are willing to learn and to work constructively.
You've expressed a fear of being mistaken for a "vandal" in your edit summaries, or of being banned. I understand that. I've seen the discussion on your user talk page from early September. Using the edit summaries to explain why you've made an edit is a good idea, so keep doing that! You can drop the "this should not be Vandalism" part. For example, I've reverted this edit to Gonggong (dwarf planet) ↗, but I would not have mistaken it for vandalism. It was clear enough why you've made the edit, even if your reason was wrong. Being reverted and discussing edits is part of how Wikipedia operates. Most experienced users are aware that they should not bite the newbies ↗, and should assume good faith ↗. Remember to do the same. Don't take things personally, and comment on the ''content'', not on the ''contributor''. If you feel personally attacked ↗ by another user, get help ↗.
I encourage you to be bold ↗. As long as you don't get into edit warring ↗, a ban is unlikely. On the other hand, there are some subjects that not only require a certain amount of expertise, but are also quite contentious. If you continue to get warnings on your user talk page, that's a sign that your edits went against some established consensus that you were probably unaware of. If you can't see the problem, or believe that you've been wrongly reverted, ask about it... That's what the talk pages are for.
Enjoy your time here, and thanks for your help! Renerpho (talk) 05:30, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
:Ok, um I will make sure if it really does make the page better next time. My planet is Homlos (talk) 11:02, 24 September 2025 (UTC)

{{ping|My planet is Homlos}} {{tq|I don't know what to do now, please tell me}} -- Read WP:Conflict of interest ↗ very carefully! It explains why '''nobody''' should write an article about something they have a personal interest in (their art project, the company they founded, the book they wrote, themselves, etc). Yes, that's hard, but it's an important rule. This has nothing to do with the value of either your project, or yourself. By the way, you're not the only one who runs into that problem. I've also created articles about projects I was involved in when I was new. It's just something one has to learn not to do.
As for your user page: As explained above, Wikipedia is not there to host data. It's okay to write about your projects and interests on your user page, if you keep it relevant to your work as a Wikipedia editor. If the purpose of your user page is to promote ''your project'', rather than to characterize ''yourself'', it is likely to be deleted at some point. Renerpho (talk) 11:49, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello {{u|My planet is Homlos}}! Three things for when you add things to "see also" sections:
# Please check if it is already mentioned in the article. In that case it doesn't belong into "see also", per MOS:NOTSEEALSO ↗. For example, Quaoar ↗ is already mentioned in Orcus (dwarf planet) ↗, which is why I reverted this edit ↗.
# Please don't remove things like <nowiki>{{Clear}}</nowiki> ↗ without good reason, like you did there.
# Try to keep the number of entries in see also sections small, and limited to articles that are clearly relevant to the subject. Even if Quaoar wasn't already mentioned in the Orcus article, it is of questionable relevance here. You wrote {{tq|A ringed dwarf planet twice the mass of Orcus}} -- that could be a useful addition ''if'' Orcus also had rings. It doesn't, as far as we know. Template confusion
Just to explain what happened here ↗, in case you're wondering: The template <nowiki>{{mp|...}}</nowiki> ↗ (short for "minor planet") is for displaying minor planet designations; adding the l (short for "link") gives you <nowiki>{{mpl|...}}</nowiki> ↗, which automatically creates a wikilink. (sorry, I had to move this message to your user talk page because it's more appropriate here)
{{tq|"because I wanted to add Haumea in it, since it is the fastest rotator known"}}
:It's a bit outdated now. Haumea may well be fastest rotating TNO that we call a dwarf planet, but there's always going to be something smaller that rotates even faster. This study from 2023 ↗ has found an even faster-rotating TNO called "FOSL62010739" (it doesn't have a designation because its orbit unknown... I'm not sure if it counts) which has a rotation period of {{val|1.28|0.01|u=h}}.
:Next time, please make sure your edits are complete and check for mistakes before you submit them. I see that whenever you try to change an article, you always make a bunch of edits afterward where you try to fix your own mistakes. Other people might mistake that as test editing ↗ or spamming. If want to see how the page looks like before you post the edit, you really should use the Visual editor ↗ or the Preview button ↗.
:You still have a lot to learn, not just in editing Wikipedia but also how science works. In science, numbers should be rounded to a reasonable number of digits (see the rules for significant figures ↗, if they taught you this in school). The numbers used from that source come from a mathematical calculation, which does not do rounding to significant figures. <span style="font-size:103%; color: #528a2d">'''Nrco0e'''</span> <span style="font-size:85%">(talk • contribs ↗)</span> 02:50, 12 November 2025 (UTC)

Weywot
Hello,
Thanks for the attempt to update the Weywot article. Unfortunately, there were some issues and I had to revert your edits. You cannot point to a citation in a different Wikipedia article, that's just not possible. Also, what's on the page 6 you're citing? Your edit summary indicates that you don't quite know yourself, and that indicates the edit you want to do may be better left to someone else.
One more thing: When you update an infobox, please make sure to also update the article body. The infobox should always serve as a summary of what the article itself is saying. Having one source in the infobox, and another (outdated) source in the article body, is not good. Updating the two should go in tandem. Renerpho (talk) 17:46, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
:In a part of page 6 it says this:
:"Priors for most parameters were chosen to be uniformative, mostly limiting parameters to physical/realistic values. For Weywot's mass, which is relatively unconstrained by our orbit model, we placed a Gaussian prior with mean 2.4×10¹⁸ kg and standard deviation of 1.2×10¹⁸, roughly corresponding to the mass expected with a diameter of 165 km and density between 500-1500 kg/m³. Since Weywot's mass is very weakly correlated with Quaoar's J2, this ensures the most physically realistic model, which is important when later characterizing the dynamics of the ring system." <span style="font-size:110%; color: #814840">'''''Homlos (MPIH)'''''</span> (talk) 23:12, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗. It seems that you have added Creative Commons licensed text ↗ to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as :Ilmarë ↗. ::You have misunderstood. My note is not about an image; it is about adding prose to the article :Ilmarë ↗ copied from the source http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EPSC-DPS2025/EPSC-DPS2025-905.html, which is released under a compatible Creative Commons license. Images in Salacia article
Hi, while you've been working on the Salacia article, I see you've added new images to it.
Please remember that Wikipedia is very strict about images if they are not made by you. You must provide a source, copyright license, description for the images---not in the Salacia article, but the image file. You see, several of the Salacia images you uploaded are missing a category and proper copyright info. For :File:Salacia in 2007–2010.jpg ↗, you put "This file is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license." This is not true, because the website where you got that from does not say that ↗. There's no copyright license on that website, so it's most likely copyrighted and you cannot use it on Wikipedia. So that image will be deleted. <span style="font-size:103%; color: #528a2d">'''Nrco0e'''</span> <span style="font-size:85%">(talk • contribs ↗)</span> 18:13, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

LGBTQ people
Hi there! You say on your userpage that you are homophobic, so my question is; why? I see that you respect LGBTQ people's decisions but just find the idea "weird". Why do you think so? You don't have to personally understand or relate to being LGBTQ. But calling it weird makes it sound like there's something wrong with people for loving someone different from who you'd love. It's okay to think it's different, but that doesn't mean it's bad. People don't choose who they are attracted to. At the end of the day, we should love and respect everyone. Declaring on your userpage that you are homophobic may hurt some people who just want respect. <b style="font-family:helvetica;color:#7C0A02">jolielover♥</b><b style="font-family:helvetica;border:transparent;padding:0 9px;background:linear-gradient(#8B0000,black);color:#ff8c8c;border-radius:6px">talk</b> 02:35, 11 June 2026 (UTC)

::See, this is why I wanted you to get better at English before you go on Wikipedia. You don't know the right word for this (if you're not LGBTQ but respect and support their choices, the appropriate word would be "ally ↗".), so you end up using the wrong word and get in HUGE trouble because people misunderstand you. Even I felt really uncomfortable when I saw that in your userpage. Like, WTF?
::In any case, I'm glad that you don't actually hate people. Haters and bigot ↗s are ''never'' welcome anywhere. You can't (and shouldn't) talk about a person or group that you don't understand in the first place (otherwise that makes you a prejudiced person ↗). <span style="font-size:103%; color: #528a2d">'''Nrco0e'''</span> <span style="font-size:85%">(talk • contribs ↗)</span> 04:56, 11 June 2026 (UTC)

Why do you have the names of other users in your userpage?
I just want to know why exactly you're doing this, as I don't think most of these people would want to have their names plastered onto your userpage just because they reverted your edits. <span style="color: #65fe08; text-shadow: 0 0 1px #00ffc0,0 0 3px #65fe08;">'''Lobed Homunculus'''</span> 21:21, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
:Lobed, Them reverting my edits aren't a bad thing, I mentioned them for a good reason, it's just them teaching me a lesson and how I learned to do edits normally, and this is a good thing, I'm not attacking them <span style="background-color:#004C03"><span style="font-size:100%; color: #0094FF">'''Homlos'''</span> <span style="font-size:70%; color: #FF9F48">'''''(Message me bro)'''''</span></span> 01:06, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
:I wanted to show how I become absolute chaotic newcomer to normal and regular contributor and how to edit better <span style="background-color:#004C03"><span style="font-size:100%; color: #0094FF">'''Homlos'''</span> <span style="font-size:70%; color: #FF9F48">'''''(Message me bro)'''''</span></span> 01:08, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
::Then just say something like "an editor reverted my editor" instead of plastering their name onto your page. <span style="background-color: #002052; color: #4cbf06; text-shadow: 0 0 1px #00ffc0,0 0 1px #65fe08;">'''Lobed Homunculus'''</span> 10:09, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
:::You mean "an editor reverted my edit"? Sure, I'll change it right now, btw, thanks for pointing all these things out <span style="background-color:#004C03"><span style="font-size:100%; color: #0094FF">'''Homlos'''</span> <span style="font-size:70%; color: #FF9F48">'''''(Message me bro)'''''</span></span> 02:09, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
