Copying from public domain sources

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! I saw that you added public domain text to UPS Airlines Flight 1354 ↗. It's good that you noted this in your edit summary, but in future please also add attribution to the article itself to note that the text of a public domain source has been copied. The easiest way to do this is by using the {{t|source attribution}} template. You can see an example of me adding it to the article here ↗. Let me know if that's at all unclear, and again, welcome! Wikipedia and copyright

30px|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello Omegarightarrow! Your additions to :Demographics of Canada ↗ have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted ↗ content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible ↗ copyright license—''to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues. Here are the key points:
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked ↗ from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:00, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

Welcome to the drive!

List of Naval Air Forces

I don't know how it happened, but I had already put in a cite a minute before you did (you can see from the history). Your addition, somehow removed my citation; don't know how, must be a quirk of the edit conflict. Sorry. The joy of all things (talk) 10:15, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 7

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited TV4 Film ↗, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Variety ↗ was added. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 09:54, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

BLPPROD

Hi, as a small reminder, WP:BLPPROD ↗ says {{tq|To be canceled, this process (when correctly initiated) requires the presence of at least one reliable source ↗ that supports at least one statement made about the person in the biography. Do not remove the {{tl|prod blp/dated}} until the biography has at least one such source.}} I wouldn't consider any database entry or stats-only page to be a reliable source, especially when the source of the data is not clear. It doesn't need to be significant coverage ↗, but I would expect at least a passing mention in prose. Cheers, Suriname0 (talk) 17:48, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
