Starting a WikiProject
Hello! I saw your contributions in the version history for Sid Meier's Civilization VI. I am looking for people to potentially form a WikiProject on the real-life references in civ 6. Would you be interested? Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 11:54, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
:I’ll help you with this project, but it might be better off as a taskforce in Wp:VIDEOGAMES ↗ due to limited scope. - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 12:10, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
::Okay! Thanks for the suggestion. I think that might be better too now. Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 13:38, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
:::We could also make some sort of list of characters, monuments, units, and buildings, and we might want to include all civ games (1-7). “List of entities in the Civilization series” or something similar - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 14:44, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
::::Okay. Would you be able to help me gather people to participate? By the by, thanks for helping. Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 14:47, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::I’ll ask at the main talk for WikiProject Videogames. - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 14:50, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::Thank you for your expertise. Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 14:51, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
::::I made a list of leaders and wonders, along with current status and goal status, at my sandbox. Are you able to access that? Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 21:00, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::I can see the page. - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 22:08, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::I read too much about Alhambra, and now I can’t resist moving it into FA goal. Wikipedian12512 (talk) 02:22, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::Should we start getting Alhambra ↗ ready for a GA review? I think it's almost there, and within FA reach. Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 14:31, 29 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::It’s C. WikiProject Military History has it as C-class. You have to get it to B on WPMH before you can even get it to GA. - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 17:30, 29 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Rechecked it against the criteria on WP:WPMH. Pretty sure it has enough citations (particularly “one for every major point.”) Feel free to double check me if you want. Wikipedian12512 (talk) 22:55, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
::Nice job at Draft:Palgum ↗! Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 11:55, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
:::I could AfC review it but I think that might be a conflict of interest (writing and then reviewing the same article). - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 12:07, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
::::Yeah. I think it would be okay if we did a large scale review of every single guideline, then make sure we aren't hedging around any of them, but that would take too much time. Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 13:01, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::I mean I’m a reviewer at WP:AfC ↗ and could get the draft reviewed. However, I’m choosing not to because it seems like some kind of conflict of interest (reviewing an article that I wrote). - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 13:33, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::Yes, I agree there. Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 13:35, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::I’m pretty sure it meets most, if not all of the AfC guidelines, but I think it could be declined on notability. - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 13:36, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::In the meantime, we/you can work on working on other goals or doing some stuff at AfC to speed up our own draft. Wikipedian12512(alt) (talk) 16:43, 21 April 2026 (UTC)
::::I’ll try to keep helping at Draft:Palgum ↗, but I’m not that experienced at drafts. Can we find a good source to explain that palgum is the Akkadian word for canal? Wikipedian12512 (talk) 15:42, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::Some kind of dictionary of terms- maybe Wiktionary has something on it? - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 18:07, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::Resubmitted a while ago. Hope it comes through soon! :) Wikipedian12512 (talk) 01:42, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

Nathan Webb (priest) ↗ AFC submission
Hi Phil,<br>
You published this article to mainspace through the WP:AFC ↗ process. The article has required quite a bit of clean up since then, mostly to do with a lot of the references being bare URLs or posted as links instead of as references. Refer to Special:Diff/1350817751/1350848821 ↗ to see how much myself and others have had to clean the article up to bring it to a minimum presentable standard. <br>
This should have been seen to prior to the article being approved to mainspace. The article's author could have done this if you pointed them in the direction of Help:Referencing for beginners ↗. Please take more care when reviewing AFC submissions in the future. ''<b style="color:#ff0000;">Tar</b><b style="color:#ff7070;">nis</b><b style="color:#ffa0a0;">hed</b><b style="color:#420000;">Path</b>''<b style="color:#bd4004;"><u>talk</u></b> 11:46, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
:WP:AFCSTANDARDS ↗ (the AfC reviewer rules) say that the article just has to have references, and they don’t need to be properly formatted.
:I probably was going to fix the formatting later, but I had classes and might’ve forgotten. - '''PhilDaBirdMan''' (Talk | Contribs ↗) 12:09, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

Article submission/ split: Gurugram Metro
<nowiki>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Gurugram_Metro</nowiki>
This new article submission was earlier rejected as a duplicate of Rapid Metro Gurgaon ↗
As per the discussion on the Rapid Metro Gurgaon page, there is now a consensus to split the article. The reason is that Gurgaon Metro is now becoming a system with multiple lines - there are always separate pages for individual lines and the system as a whole.
