Mirrors

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thanks for contributing to the article Adrian C. Wilcox High School ↗. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable ↗ and attributed to reliable sources ↗. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored ↗, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference ↗ and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia ↗ or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page ↗, or just ask me. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-refimprove --> ''Sam '''Kuru''' (talk) ↗'' 12:08, 5 January 2024 (UTC) <br clear="both">

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, and thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, :Santa Clara High School (Santa Clara, California) ↗. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments belong on the article's accompanying talk page ↗. If you post your comments there, other editors ↗ working on the same article will notice and may respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles ↗, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-talkinarticle1 --><!-- Template:uw-npov1 --> Samf4u (talk) 19:30, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions ↗, such as the edit(s) you made to :Adrian C. Wilcox High School ↗, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted ↗. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines ↗. You can find information about these at our welcome page ↗ which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia ↗. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-disruptive1 --> Magnolia677 (talk) 19:00, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

left|25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello The Sands of Time 0. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to :Adrian C. Wilcox High School ↗, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements ↗. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest ↗ (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. '''Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia.''' Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view ↗ and what Wikipedia is not ↗, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation ↗ regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization ↗.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page ↗ of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation ↗ process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are '''<u>required</u> by the Wikimedia Terms of Use ↗ to disclose your employer, client and affiliation.''' You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:The Sands of Time 0. The template {{tl|Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{tlc|paid|2=user=The Sands of Time 0|3=employer=<var>InsertName</var>|4=client=<var>InsertName</var>}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, '''do not edit further''' until you answer this message. <!-- Template:Uw-paid1 --> Magnolia677 (talk) 20:46, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

:Hi there! I'm afraid you're mistaken, as I'm not being compensated in any way for my edits. Thank you for raising your concerns, though. I can see how it might seem like I'm being paid and I appreciate that you're trying to limit potential bias. The Sands of Time 0 (talk) 21:03, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Adrian C. Wilcox High School - Vietnam War Memorial Plaque.jpg

64px|left|alt=Image Copyright problem|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading :File:Adrian C. Wilcox High School - Vietnam War Memorial Plaque.jpg ↗.

This file is a derivative work ↗, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the file description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright ↗ very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the '''license''' and the '''source''' of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a '''copyright tag ↗''' to the image description page ↗.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in [{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=upload&user=The_Sands_of_Time_0}} your upload log].

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. {{You can request undeletion}} Thanks again for your cooperation.<!-- Template:Di-no license-notice --> — Ирука13 ↗ 01:27, 23 December 2024 (UTC)

Zazu Nova ↗

Hi! Thank you for creating the article on Zazu Nova ↗, I had intended to do for this for quite some time (since late last year-ish), and I was going to try starting it since it was June and I realized there were ample articles regarding her recent censorship by the National Park Service ↗ and was slightly disappointed to find it had already been done. I was going to suggest nominating it for Wikipedia:Did you know ↗, but it already seems too late for that Iostn (talk) 21:43, 19 June 2025 (UTC)

:Hi! Thanks for your comment! I'm glad to hear you're also interested in Zazu Nova and documenting her legacy. Please feel free to keep expanding her article! The Sands of Time 0 (talk) 05:31, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
