Welcome to Wikipedia ↗, Trainsskyscrapers! I'm Royal Autumn Crest, and I've been assigned as your '''mentor'''. Around 10% of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor randomly taken from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits ↗. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here ↗ to get help from the wider community.

Again, welcome to Wikipedia! Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 20:59, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

:Thank you so much, Royal Autumn Crest!
:I look forward to working alongside you. Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 21:47, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

Angie Beyince

Hey, just wanted to say that it's been fun working alongside you to get Angie a proper page lol. Can you add her name link to the info box relative section on Beyonce's page? 166.198.161.6 ↗ (talk) 17:02, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

:Likewise! Thank you for all of your contributions. Just added Angie to the infobox relative sections on both Beyoncé and Solange's pages, as well as those bottom-page templates for Beyoncé and Solange. Have a great week! Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 03:47, 16 January 2023 (UTC)

I was looking at her songwriting credits and I think you forgot to remove one of the unreleased songs, Fascination, from that section in the I Am Sasha Fierce row. It's already in the separate section you made specifically for unreleased songs. 166.198.161.70 ↗ (talk) 23:28, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

:Thanks for the heads-up! Just removed it from the IASF row. I initially thought that based on the writing team (namely Amanda Ghost/Ian Dench) and their extensive work with Beyonce around IASF/Cadillac Records that it would be easy to assume which album sessions it came from, but I could find no cited indication other than the entry on Genius. For all you know, it could have actually been written for Solange's "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams", which was heavily produced by Jack Splash and released a few weeks before Beyonce's. Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 00:17, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

True. I wasn't sure if you left it there on purpose or not, so I didn't want to remove it without letting you know. By the way, I don't know if you saw my edit summary about Angie's age or not but I left one just in case anyone else tries to make it 1982 again. 166.198.161.70 ↗ (talk) 14:44, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

How does Angie qualify as a music executive? She isn't commonly referred to by that title in the media. And why is Mathew listed as Uncle when he and Tina are no longer married? As far as I know in laws (and in this case former in laws) and step relatives are not supposed to be listed in the infobox. <!-- Template:Unsigned IP --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by 166.194.204.46 ↗ (talk) 00:49, 26 May 2023 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

:You are right about Mathew, and I will remove those shortly. As for a music executive? Definitely. From that article that was written around the surprise release of Self-Titled about Parkwood Entertainment (as well as the Harvard Business School Case), her team have the respective responsibilities (and budgets) of an executive at a major label, but simply don't have underlings who report to them. The structure and culture are different. 2604:3D09:A980:1952:A0F0:1CE4:31F9:2197 ↗ (talk) 01:22, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
::Ok but I was once told by another editor that if the person was not commonly referred to as such and such in the reliable media sources, they couldn't be labeled that here on Wikipedia. I get that Angie had a particular job when she worked at Parkwood as mentioned 10 years ago but I'm not sure that is enough for her to be referred to that way here on Wikipedia. I'm going to ask another editor I trust. @Binksternet what do you think?

Hi there, Trainsskyscrapers, and thanks for all the biographies of people in music you have created in the short time you've been here. I see a significant number of them are about women. New page reviewer granted

right|80px ↗
Hi Trainsskyscrapers. Your account has been added to the "<code>New page reviewers</code>" user group. Please check back at the permissions page ↗ in case your user right is time-limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled ↗, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the '''New Pages Feed''' ↗. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you '''must''' read the tutorial at New Pages Review ↗, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy ↗. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the '''new page reviewer talk page''' ↗ or ask via the NPP Discord ↗. In addition, please remember:

The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. If you can read any languages other than English, please add yourself to the list of new page reviewers with language proficiencies ↗. Hey man im josh (talk) 13:55, 15 March 2024 (UTC)

Blank sections to Megan: Act II ↗

Hey, @Trainsskyscrapers, and thanks for your contributions to the article! Just wanted to come and tell you that adding blank sections without information is not really needed because we can WP:WAIT ↗ until an editor comes and adds them. Critical reception needs reviews from sources which can take one day to one month to appear. Thanks, <span style="font-family:Arial;background-color:#fff;border:2px dashed#69c73e"><span style="color:#3f6b39">'''Cowboygilbert'''</span> - <span style="color:#d12667"> (talk) ♥</span></span> 20:50, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

:@Cowboygilbert I only do this on brand new album articles (on album release night or the day after) where so many people rush to make edits at the same time that it makes it hard to complete the basics: writing credits, production credits, or samples in the tracklist section. In my experience, creating an empty section has moved the "group" editing focus towards needed expansion of the page (in new sections like critical reception, background, composition, or information about songs), while users who have started editing or creating existing sections like the tracklist can continue to edit them without experiencing editing conflicts every time they submit something.
:Enjoy your weekend! I will keep this in mind moving forward. Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 22:29, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

Amanda Ghost edit request

Hi Trainsskyscrapers! I hope all is well. I see that you recently made an edit to the Wikipedia BLP of Amanda Ghost ↗, and that you are especially interested in improving the Wiki pages of singer-songwriters. I am hoping that because of your interest, you might like to have a look at an edit request I posted here on behalf of Amanda Ghost ↗, to sensibly restructure the article, and add some useful and well-sourced information. The request should be easy and quick to implement, since if you agree with it, the whole thing is ready to be copied and pasted into the current article. It would be great if you could look the request over and implement the suggested edits. Thanks in advance for your help. Londonhyrax (talk) 12:45, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

:@Londonhyrax Hello! Apologies for taking so long to respond. I had a few other projects on the docket that I had to complete first. I'm assuming someone else was able to work on Amanda Ghost's page, but if not, let me know. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 08:13, 23 March 2025 (UTC)

Draft:Pietro Maximoff (Marvel Cinematic Universe) ↗

While I appreciate your efforts to improve Wikipedia, this draft, and any other draft that falls under the purview of WP:MCU ↗, should be discussed amongst the article contributors before any submission to AFC is remotely considered, and they most certainly should not be submitted unilaterally by an uninvolved editor. Because some of these drafts are not closely watched, some uninvolved editors occasionally pop in and submit them, even though this is not ready for the mainspace and has not improved since this matter was discussed a few years ago. Its mainspace inclusion has been contested, and you or anyone else should not try to get it moved without consulting the article editors to address said concerns to meet the criteria of WP:MCUCHARACTERS ↗ and WP:NFILMCHAR ↗. Thank you. <span style="font-family:Courier;">&mdash; ''Trailblazer''<u>'''101'''</u>🔥 (discuss · contribs ↗)</span> 01:41, 17 October 2025 (UTC)

:*shrugs* While it looked ready for mainspace to me (and evidently others as this will be the third or fourth time the specific article has made its way through AFC), thanks for letting me know. Have a great night @Trailblazer101.

List of songs by Anne-Marie ↗ issue

Hello and thank you for reviewing and moving the article List of songs by Anne-Marie ↗ to the main-space. You also added a <code><nowiki>{{unreliable sources|date=October 2025}}</nowiki></code> tag. Thank you for your contributions, however it is unclear to me which sources are unreliable. If you are able to specify, that would be great. You could reply here, use the article's talk page ↗ or my talk page which is linked in the signature and I'll swiftly reply and correct the sources if I am able to find a better one. Transparency is very important in a public encyclopaedia to avoid the spread of misinformation, so I appreciate you adding the tag. It’s even better if there are reliable sources in the first place and that's what I'm trying to ensure. Thanks so much!

Youshouldchooseausernamethat (talk) 13:10, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

:Hello, @Youshouldchooseausernamethat! You're welcome. You did a great job with the layout and formatting of the page. While Allmusic is very common on wikipedia articles discussing music (so keep those), Tidal credits (and anything that can be modified by a random user, such as Wordpress or Genius) as a source are not, and those may be flagged. Instead, look to reputable music publications who hold interviews with writers/producers or review songs, or even award-presenting music bodies when they announced their yearly ASCAP + BMI awards and list credits for award-winning songs. For example:
:The following two articles combined would constitute a "good source" for the writing credits of "Rockabye": https://www.billboard.com/music/features/rockabye-clean-bandit-sean-paul-anne-marie-dance-music-7684919/ & https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/steve-mac-there-are-no-rules-to-pop-music-now-it-just-has-to-be-of-great-quality/
:"Beautiful"? This article: https://www.thelineofbestfit.com/news/latest-news/anne-marie-releases-beautiful-song-co-written-by-ed-sheeran-and-max-martin
:Demi Lovato's "I Love Me"? This one: https://www.bmi.com/award-shows/pop-2022/
:If you cannot find an article discussing a song, you can always use a Repertory like BMI or ASCAP that lists all writers. Here is the direct link to Anne-Marie's songs on their joint database (https://www.ascap.com/repertory#/ace/writer/678975070/NICHOLSON%20ANNE-MARIE%20ROSE).
:Hope this helps! If you have any questions, let me know.
:Cheers. Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 14:30, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
::Thanks very much for responding! With Tidal, it's not a crowd sourced website, it's a bit like spotify as a streaming service. There was a discussion ↗ a few years ago. There isn't a clear consensus, but one editor pointed out: {{xt|It is a reliable source since the label provides the credits, also the part about not being accessible is irrelevant because it can be accessed on archive 1 and sources like The Times, Rolling Stone and The New York Times have limited access but are considered fully reliable.}} However, these articles you linked may override Tidal in reliability. Thanks for linking the ASCAP, that's really interesting. I had assumed that articles that were unreliable include the citation for "Alright With Me" which I linked to YouTube, finding no credible source with it's writers and using the description of the video as the source. For "Leave (Get Out)" I linked to Secondhandsongs, which is a crowd sourced website like Genius, so that might be considered unreliable as well.
::So what do you think, should we leave in the Tidal sources? Youshouldchooseausernamethat (talk) 00:20, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
:::It's entirely up to you, @Youshouldchooseausernamethat. I think of Tidal as a last-resort source, and have always sought out a more reliable source instead. In terms of other 'songs recorded' wiki pages, I've seen many people use song publishing bodies BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, and the Harry Fox Agency (Lana Del Rey) to supplement other sources they find as reputable sources to create their pages. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Cheers! Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 00:34, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

Suggestions

Hey Trainsskyscrapers,

Thanks for adding that to the article I created! I just wanted to ask you do you think McKinzie J. Scott ↗ has enough sources for a wikipedia page because I've been trying to create one for certain subject. Is it possible to do some research for me and let me know if he is good for a recreation because the article was deleted a few time for G7 sock puppets. just want to check the waters. Lopsd (talk) 02:40, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

:@Lopsd No worries! Glad I could help. Did a quick look for McKinzie J. Scott and I would definitely hold off right now. An actor has not "made it big" in the Wikipedia sense until Google News is filled with articles from Industry trade magazines/websites like ''Deadline'', ''Variety'', ''TVLine'', and ''The Hollywood Reporter''. That last article you created had many of those references. If McKinzie Scott is your next article to be created, I would recommend working on it in the sandbox section of your profile until more of those sources appear.
:If you'd like me to review it at any point, just respond to this thread and ping me.

Can you review another page

Hi, thank you for reviewing my page I was wondering if you could possibly review a page I made maybe a month or two ago it wasn't too long ago it is called "Disappearance of Steven Clark" I have made a few pages over the last few weeks but it seems to be the only one that was never reviewed out of any page I have made, if you cant that's no problem. ItsShandog (talk) 04:45, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

:@ItsShandog Just reviewed. If you can find additional sources for Mr. Clark's early life and life prior to his disappearance that would be ideal, but otherwise the page looks good. thumb|right|270px|NPP unreviewed article statistics as of February 02, 2026 ↗
Welcome to Phase 2 of the January–February 2026 NPP drive ↗. During Phase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Could you review this page?

Hey Trainsskyscrapers,

Thank you for approving one of my earlier submissions on Olandria Carthen ↗ last year. I was wondering if you could review my draft for Nic Vansteenberghe ↗ for approval. Please let me know, thank you so much! Daring Dolphin (talk) 14:05, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hello @Daring Dolphin. Typically I could check, look through the prose/sources, and approve right away, but this page has a few more hurdles. After a contentious deletion discussion ↗ for the first iteration of the page (complete with people potentially using AI/large language models to type their justifications and sockpuppetry), and those same people making edits on the existing page, the redirect that exists where the page was has been completely protected from edit. (Administrators only) Your page cannot yet be approved on our end. What I would suggest is for you to go to the administrators via this link (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nic_Vansteenberghe&action=edit), submit an edit request, and tell them you've created a draft of the page with enough reputable sources to prove notability. (Before you even submit that message, go back through your draft one more time with a fine-toothed comb and remove any source that people may find issue with, as well as any sentence too "puffy" like the mention of his Spotify streams.) If they agree, the message will be cleared for you, and you should be good to go after that. If I can assist further after that process is over and approve/move over the draft page, let me know. Cheers. Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 22:12, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
::Hello,
::The protected edit request was denied with an administrator leaving a comment saying: “Let it go through the normal AFC process.” Does that look like editors like you approving the draft article? Just trying to understand, thank you! Daring Dolphin (talk) 19:27, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Just to confirm, the administrator who originally protected the redirect said: “If the draft is approved then the reviewer can make the necessary requests to enable the move.” Please review the draft ↗ if you can. It is now supported by independent sources (including CNN, The New York Times, USA Today, and the Florida Times Union), it features significant coverage (from Vulture, Glamour, Entertainment Weekly, Cosmopolitan, and Elite Daily), and the subject is now notable for more than one event (reality TV, modeling, and DJing). Please let me know if you can review it, thank you! Daring Dolphin (talk) 21:14, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Bet. Working on it now. Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 21:40, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

Vandalism / edit warring on Olandria’s page

Hello @Trainsskyscrapers,

There is a user - Aboutnick - who is trying to repeatedly delete a bulk of text on Olandria ↗’s page, claiming it’s AI generated, irrelevant, and her birthdate is not well sourced. '''Please note Aboutnick was previously blocked on Wikipedia'''.

The article is not AI-generated. It has been updated and revised regularly over months by multiple editors about her career. If we’re using zerogpt as a valid test, Zendaya ↗’s career section is 80.7% AI-generated. Should I go ahead and delete her career section too?

We have already had and completed a deletion discussion about what qualifies for a Wikipedia article. One user does not get to delete a majority of a career section based on their whim.

Her birthdate was verified by multiple birthday posts as well.
