Notice about the page “Kane Pixels”
There is already a draft page for Kane Pixels ↗ at draft:Kane Pixels ↗ has been a work in progress for a while now. When the mainspace page was still a redirect, it had a notice to not directly create an article from it ↗ unless moving draft:Kane Pixels ↗ to mainspace. I see you have added stuff that I didn’t to your article, so maybe we can merge Kane Pixels ↗ to the corresponding draft. (Discuss '''''0nshore's''''' contributions!!! ↗) 16:30, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
Backrooms (web series) title.
Hello, I am the creator of the article. The reason why I titled the article “Backrooms” is based on the opening credits for the first video(Which is also in the article’s info box). Yes I realize that the first video is titled “The Backrooms(Found footage” and the playlist is titled “The Backrooms”. However I am going based on the opening title card of the first video and the fact that the other videos in the series only have “Backrooms” in their titles. Example: “Backrooms-The Third Test”, “Backrooms-Informational Video”, “Backrooms-Pitfalls”, “Backrooms-Damage Control” etc… I will admit that Kane makes the naming of his series difficult when he doesn’t stick with one title. To be fair, he probably wasn’t expecting an article to be made about his series. However based on the examples I mentioned earlier, I must insist that the article’s title remains as it is. I wanted to reach out after I continue to see you delete vital information about current topics going on. :@WestonH233: Please be aware that I support Tana and I believe the findings of D'Angelo Wallace, of whom I am a fan. I'm not in any way trying to censor this information, and I believe that it should be included on the page.
:If you want to know why I am deleting these additions, please see my reply on Talk:Cody Ko ↗ to another editor.
:" I am reverting the additions because this talk page discussion has not yet ended. Talk page discussions must run their course for a consensus to emerge on 1) if it should be included and 2) what to write in the page. This is how decisions on Wikipedia work."
:The talk page discussion has not yet ended. A paragraph is still being drafted. There are still some people in cautious opposition. Therefore, there's still no consensus ↗, i.e. no decision has yet been come to. We can only add it in after the participants have come to a consensus.

DCWC closing update
The 2024 Developing Countries WikiContest ↗ has come to a close! After a thrilling finish to the event with a slew of submissions on the final day, we have our winners. With 608 points, <span class="nowrap">30px|Bronze Belt Buckle – 3rd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant|Thebiguglyalien}} comes in third with his series of Kiribati and Botswanan submissions; <span class="nowrap">30px|Silver Belt Buckle – 2nd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant|BeanieFan11}} flies into second place at the last second with 771 points after a string of good articles about sportspersons; and after leading for much of contest's three months, <span class="nowrap">30px|Gold Belt Buckle – 1st place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant|Generalissima}} finishes with a whopping 798 points to take home the Gold Belt Buckle ↗. Congratulations to our winners!
In addition to his spot in the top three, {{DCWC participant|BeanieFan11}} also wins the special awards for submitting under the most countries (44 countries) and for writing the most articles about women (15 Did you know? nominations)! {{DCWC participant|Magentic Manifestations}}, after making 16 submissions under the Indian flag—15 of them good articles—receives the awards for most submissions for a single country and most featured or good articles promoted. For their submission of one FAC review, five FLC reviews, and 20 GAN reviews, {{DCWC participant|Simongraham}} wins for most article reviews.
The results of the contest have far exceeded any expectations the coordinators had for it at the beginning: among the submissions to the event were 3 FAs, 10 FLs, 88 GAs, dozens of article reviews of every kind, and more Did you know? submissions than we can count! Regardless of your level of participation, every contestant can be proud to have contributed towards a major step in countering the systemic bias on Wikipedia ↗. Every year, millions of readers and editors around the globe use Wikipedia to educate themselves and communicate with others about parts of the world that often receive less attention than they deserve. Thank you for participating with us in the contest and contributing to this effort. The DCWC will return next year and we look forward to seeing you contribute again! However, before that...

Official name in English of South Tyrol
Hi, concerning this edit ↗, which is the source? South Tyrol has just an official name in Italian and German Afaik. Simoncik84 (talk) 12:54, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
:@Simoncik84: Sorry, good point. I just assumed that, since that name was in the infobox, it was an official name. I apologize that I did not check. There are examples of government bodies using similar names and variations ↗, but there is no evidence for any official English name or accepted common translation. I have removed the official name, but I have kept my removal of the long sentence about the official name, as it does not appear appropriate for the lede. <span style="color:#7f4bad">'''— V<small>ORTEX</small>'''</span><u><small>3427</small></u> <small>(Talk!)</small> 13:14, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
::Hi, thanks for your reply. Would not it be informative though to keep the original English translation - in italic - (clearly indicated as unofficial), while avoiding the second sentence ("reflecting the multilingualism and different naming conventions in the area")? George Leleo ↗ moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, George Leleo ↗, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable ↗, independent sources ↗. <small>(? ↗)</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability ↗ is of central importance ↗ on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace ↗ (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline ↗ and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The World Destubathon ↗
Hello. You are invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It's currently planned for June 16-July 13. There is currently $3338 going into it, with $500 the top prize. As 250 countries and entities is too much to patrol, entries will be by user, but there is $500 going into prizes for editors covering the most countries. Sign up if interested! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 17:12, 30 May 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, and thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Your bold move of :Uea ↗ has been reverted because an editor has found it to be controversial. Per Wikipedia:Requested moves ↗, a move request must be placed on the article's talk page, and the request be open for discussion for seven days, "if there is any reason to believe a move would be contested ↗". If you believe that this move is appropriate, please initiate such a discussion to form the appropriate consensus. Again, please note that moving a page with a longstanding title and/or a large number of incoming links is more likely to be considered controversial, and may be contested. Note that such consensus is particularly required before moving a title with incoming links in order to create a disambiguation page at that title.<!-- Template:Movereverted --> jlwoodwa (talk) 05:46, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

# {{DCWC participant/2025|Spookyaki}} – 256 points, mostly from a handful of GAs about women's history in Latin America as well as the 1991 Haitian coup d'état ↗.
# {{DCWC participant/2025|Vigilantcosmicpenguin}} – 229 points, back with a number of articles on abortion in various African countries.
# {{DCWC participant/2025|Simongraham}} – 213 points, mainly from GAs on species of jumping spiders in both Africa and Azerbaijan.
# {{DCWC participant/2025|PizzaKing13}} – 200 points, with five GAs on articles relating to Salvadoran politics, history, and griddle cakes ↗.
# {{DCWC participant/2025|BeanieFan11}} – 168 points from a few GAs, a few DYKs, and a few ITNs on athletes from a variety of countries.
Looking for ways to climb up the leaderboard yourself? Help out your fellow participants by answering a few '''review requests ↗''', particularly the older entries. Several more nominations needing attention are listed at '''eligible reviews ↗''', and highlighed entries receive a 1.5× multiplier!

DCWC closing update
Two weeks ago, the 2025 Developing Countries WikiContest ↗ came to a close! After three months of stiff competition at the top of the leaderboard, we have our winners. <span class="nowrap">30px|Bronze Belt Buckle – 3rd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant/2025|Vigilantcosmicpenguin}}, continuing his work on covering abortion in Africa ↗, comes in third with 692 points. <span class="nowrap">30px|Silver Belt Buckle – 2nd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant/2025|Simongraham}} comes in second with 763 points, largely from a slew of good articles about jumping spider ↗s. And returning to the podium for the second year in a row, <span class="nowrap">30px|Gold Belt Buckle – 1st place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant/2025|BeanieFan11}} takes the Gold Belt Buckle with a mind-boggling 946 points from his series of articles on sportpersons. Congratulations to our winners!
Amazingly, the award for the most countries covered goes to both {{DCWC participant/2025|BeanieFan11}} and {{DCWC participant/2025|Simongraham}}, who each submitted articles under 30 flags! {{DCWC participant/2025|BeanieFan11}} also wins for writing the most quality articles (16 good articles). For submitting 16 articles related to El Salvador, {{DCWC participant/2025|PizzaKing13}} wins the award for most submissions under one country. The award for most submissions related to women goes to both {{DCWC participant/2025|Spookyaki}} (7 biographies about women) and {{DCWC participant/2025|Vigilantcosmicpenguin}} (21 related articles). And for the second year, {{DCWC participant/2025|Simongraham}} wins for the most reviews, having submitted 21!
Among the participants' contributions were 2 FAs, 5 FLs, 124 GAs, and an uncounted number of DYKs, ITNs, and reviews of every kind! Max Surban discography ↗ moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Max Surban discography ↗, is not suitable as written to remain published. Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Draft:Max Surban discography ↗

A tag has been placed on :Draft:Max Surban discography ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because it is:
- a disambiguation page with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" which lists only one extant Wikipedia page (i.e., there is a primary topic ↗);
- a disambiguation page that lists zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" whose target is neither a disambiguation page nor page that has a disambiguation-like function.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and removing the speedy deletion tag. <!-- Template:Db-disambig-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Arjun01 (talk) 09:07, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
