Recommending "Psycho shower scene ↗" for good article status
I am impressed by your creation and contributions to the article Psycho shower scene ↗, and believe it is well-done for you to nominate it for {{icon|GA}} status. The main thing you need to do is to check for each claim to be properly sourced. - RTSthestardust (talk) 04:47, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
:Thank you so much! I will absolutely do that, and I want to see if I can expand it even more as I do so. Watagwaan (talk) 17:58, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Mami Kawada ↗
Hello!<br />
Concerning this edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mami_Kawada&diff=prev&oldid=1331590425 ↗. Why did you change "singer, lyricist" to "singer-songwriter"? It was clearly stated that she was a "singer and lyricist" and thus did not compose her own songs. And why did you combine together the first two paragraphs? The second one started with "Born and raised in Sapporo, Japan" and clearly meant to be standalone. Your version was a mess.<br />And didn't you notice it was a good article? Some effort was definitely put into writing the lead. --Moscow Connection (talk) 08:40, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
:Hello! My apologies, it seemed like the lead was slightly outdated (it didn't mention further albums) and I made a mistake with "lyricist" it seems, I assumed it could be replaced with just "songwriter". Thanks for bringing it to my attention! Hope you're well. Watagwaan (talk) 13:25, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
::You are welcome to put back everything else you added. (Update: I've reverted the second paragraph to your version. Not sure about the facts presented, but you definitely made it a more fluent read.) --Moscow Connection (talk) 13:41, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
:: What I mean by "facts" is that Japanese Wikipedia doesn't treat I've Sound ↗ as a musical group, but rather as a musical production team. The author of this Englsih-language article is {{u|Narutolovehinata5}}, maybe he can tweak the lead a bit. (First she released a song, then a split single, then a solo single. Kind of confusing...) --Moscow Connection (talk) 13:59, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
:::I'm not really sure what to do here anymore (I'm on indefinite hiatus from working on her article and don't have plans on editing it again), but as far as I can tell, "singer-songwriter" is still correct. Songwriter can mean composer or lyricist: it is true that she did not composer her own songs, only that she wrote the lyrics, but "songwriter" should still be correct in this case. <B><span style="color:#0038A8">Naruto</span><span style="color:#FCD116">love</span><span style="color:#CE1126">hinata</span>5</B> (talk · contributions ↗) 14:04, 7 January 2026 (UTC)

No hard feelings about the lead, but disaree. Its very late now and have to sleep; can we chat about the propose reorg tomorrow, outside of the glare of the FAC. :DAMN This song threw me for a loop! Embrace the noise!! Also no worries, we can talk about the lead when you're ready! Watagwaan (talk) 17:18, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
::@Ceoil how's this for a lead?
::'''Megan Martha White''' (born December 10, 1974) is an American musician who was the drummer and occasional vocalist of the rock duo the White Stripes ↗. She is a key artist of the 2000s indie ↗ and garage rock movements ↗, noted for her minimalist drumming style and reserved public persona. The White Stripes split up in 2011 after which she ceased performing. Her last media appearance was in 2009, and she has not been active in the music industry since.
::Born and raised in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan ↗, White met Jack Gillis ↗ in the early 1990s and the two married in 1996, with Jack taking her surname. She began playing the drums in 1997 and formed the White Stripes with Jack that year. They divorced in 2000 but continued performing at her insistence, presenting themselves to the music press as siblings. Their 2001 breakthrough album, ''White Blood Cells ↗'', brought them international fame. This, along with the band's next three albums ↗, established White as a key artist of the decade's rock revival. White also had a short acting and modeling career, appearing in the 2003 film ''Coffee and Cigarettes ↗'' and a 2006 episode ↗ of ''The Simpsons ↗''. She was married to Jackson Smith from 2009 to 2013.
::Her drumming style polarized critics at first but has since become highly regarded. She has maintained an elusive media image and has given very few interviews, which she puts down to shyness and a reclusive nature. With the White Stripes, she won six Grammy Awards ↗ and was inducted ↗ into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ↗ in 2025. Publications such as ''NME ↗'' and ''Rolling Stone'' ↗ rank her among the greatest drummers in history. Watagwaan (talk) 19:46, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
::::Like that :) Here is the weirdist thing that have been listening to recently.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZGNTx6SrrE&list=PLvL3CyncF8kpFxI8KEVtCzc_bbuFtPZbV&index=27 ↗ Ceoil (talk) 20:27, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::You sent me this one earlier! It's definitely odd but in a good way. It's really long though HAHA Watagwaan (talk) 20:54, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::Nikkimaria is the sharpest source editor we have, so would do everything she says!!! ps, from one drummer to another https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELpJ_7JaJRE ↗ Ceoil (talk) 21:27, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::I'll go through as much as I can next time I can, I suspect it'll take a while. Also, this is DOPE! Never saw the drums laid out for this song. Watagwaan (talk) 23:00, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::@Ceoil Seems like the Nikkimaria oppose was enough to stop the whole discussion. It's a bit disheartening, as for the most part it was a few extraneous sources or missed ones. Another issue may be that I didn't start the article from scratch. Nonetheless, I want to thank you for your help with the article and more! I hope we can keep collaborating here, you're pretty neat. Here's another GA I did recently, though! ↗ I think I'm improving slowly but surely. Watagwaan (talk) 17:39, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::Nikkimaria is about as heavyweight on FAC as it goes and gave clear direction for necessary changes for her to support. It's probably my fault more than yours that the issues weren't resolved in the timeline, sorry. Although Gog failed "this" nom, he did encourage "a thorough trawl through the article bearing in mind the comments of all of the reviewers, followed by a solid PR before renominating", ie he wants to see you back with a second FA nom when the article is ready and will readily be supported. I wouldn't feel disheartened or hard done by the archiving; the culture at FAC does like first-time nominators who have the guts to come back again, with issues taken on board and resolved. People who are archived on first on first nom but who work through isses and suceed on second nom are very much appreciated for resilience. Ceoil (talk) 23:41, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
::::::::::::also, I thinkyou were done by in the end by including too many sources, the tail end of which are unreliable by wiki standards. Trim there, and it will go a long way towards assuaging NM. Ceoil (talk) 23:45, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
:::::::::::::Thank you so much! Of course, I want to eventually see this featured and I won't let it deter me! Watagwaan (talk) 01:24, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
::You should start a new section on the talk page with bullets on Nikki's unresolved last points, work through them, and then do one more PR. I'll keep an eye. Ceoil (talk) 03:32, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
:::Could you point me specifically towards which ones to copy paste? Sorry if it's obvious, there's just a lot of text and clutter on the page now. :( Watagwaan (talk) 04:08, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

:As an olive branch, here is a not so dissimilar tunehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK6psxQ966Y ↗ Ceoil (talk) 00:02, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::@Ceoil no worries, I know it isn't personal! I'll see what I can do, admittedly it was easier to write about the production of the EP, Show Your Bones and It's Blitz! because those had actual information about their production. Is this what you meant?
::Ooh, they covered cigarette in your bed! These guys are pretty good. Watagwaan (talk) 10:49, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::::Yes they are great!!! Re YYYs...I would spend time copying stuff over from the album, EP and single articles to flesh out the page. The people who read the page probably want to read about the music rather than the accolades. Best. Ceoil (talk) 11:25, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::Got it! I'm gonna do what I can to expand those on my break as ideas have already popped into my head. I will say, though, that it's a little harder to do for Mosquito and Cool It Down, because only so much information was given about these and especially now in the 2020s, I feel like learning about an artist's production process is not nearly as fleshy as it was in the 2000s. For lack of a better term. @Ceoil Watagwaan (talk) 11:27, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::@Ceoil would you look at the formation/Fever to Tell section now and tell me what you think? I believe this is what you meant. Watagwaan (talk) 11:47, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
:Yeah, thats exactly what I meant. More please. Ceoil (talk) 12:09, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::THIS ARTICLE IS GONNA BE LIT. Also I wanted to mention @Ceoil that sometime soon I will deepdive the Meg White article again because I have been re-determined (not a word but it is now) to get it to FA. Mark my damn words. Watagwaan (talk) 12:22, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
:I would be ''trilled'' to see you take the Meg article further. More work needed in between, but do think you have a much better grasp of FAC than you did then vs now, especially wrt sources, which was what tanked it first time around. Ceoil (talk) 13:22, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::@Ceoil I trimmed a bit, I feel like it's less excessive in the sales bit but also I think I covered everything I could with readily available sources/"Meet Me in the Bathroom" about the production of their albums. Is this any better? Watagwaan (talk) 17:47, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::You rock and nice edit tks. I know I'm being hard ass, but from the sub-article, the most interesting statement is "the rock band ESG served as a primary influence for the EP, with the band attempting to recreate their sound "with guitar instead of bass.[10] And I wonder how much more insight there is from critics on stuff like this. Ceoil (talk) 17:55, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
:::You aren't being a hard-ass. Also thank you! The thing is that was because there were a surprising amount of interviews/cover stories that said different things like this during their rock-era, but afterwards, when they shifted to dance music, it's like any info regarding their influences and specific goals like that weren't said. If that makes sense @Ceoil. Watagwaan (talk) 18:11, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::::No, I don't really get what you are saying, but I would love to have it explained in the article how they switched to no bass player (a magical idea best seen in Y control if you ask me), how that worked and then why the pivot toward dance music. Ceoil (talk) 18:15, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::OH okay @Ceoil
:::::When it comes to the pivot towards dance music, I couldn't find an exact answer or interview regarding it, but I think the user could infer from the "reinventing" sentences and what's said about the production of Show Your Bones that they don't like sticking to one specific sound. As for the lack of bass, I couldn't find a clear source or answer that suggested it was anyone else but Zinner who played on the studio recording. Their live performances were bassless, and they never really had a bass player; Fever to Tell seems like the one exception studio-wise. Watagwaan (talk) 18:22, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::The general consensus seems to be that Zinner played every guitar on Fever to Tell, which under that umbrella term would include bass. I added a sentence to clarify that and some kind of source discussing it. Watagwaan (talk) 18:49, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::Now very clear, thank you! Ceoil (talk) 00:24, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Cool! So @Ceoil what do you think now? Watagwaan (talk) 00:44, 7 April 2026 (UTC)

Yeah Yeah Yeahs GA nomination
Hi @Watagwaan, rather than peppering the article with "clarify" tags, I'm going to make a few notes here for you, focusing on areas that I think need clarification:
- Should Karen O be listed as Karen Lee Orzolek in the infobox, or simply as Karen O? What about Dave Sitek, should his full name be included?
- In the "Recording" section, what is meant by "the band's home" in the sentence ''"Maps" began with a riff played on a whim by guitarist Nick Zinner in the band's home''? Did they all live together?
- In the "Release" section, does "territory" refer to the US in the sentence ''Interscope ultimately delayed distribution in the territory...''?
- In the "Music video" section, whose faces are being referred to in the sentence ''Various lighting filters are used to change the color of the room and illuminate their faces''? Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 03:13, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
:HIIIIIIIIIIII
:* Songwriting credits legally require a full name unless privacy reasons. As for Dave Sitek, I went according to credits/liner notes.
:* Yeah, at the time they lived together.
:* Yes! It refers to the US.
:* I could've sworn I clarified it was the band members, but I'll add that anyhow.
:@Revirvlkodlaku Thank you!!! <span style="color: red;">Watagwaan? I really like the color red!</span> 04:04, 6 June 2026 (UTC)

It'll End in Tears ↗
Hi Watagwaan, am thinking of taking to GA before FAC; can you give initial thoughts please. Am aware that the "release" section needs work, but https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P22TEf4pZZs ↗ Ceoil (talk) 00:52, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
:THE SMITHS!!!! How cultured you are @Ceoil. I can absolutely take a look at It'll End in Tears ↗ for you! My initial thoughts just from a quick skim (nothing in-depth) is that the "Reception" and "Influence" sections are both rather short (not counting Release because you said you'd work on it), I would considering combining the two and making a "Reception and legacy" kind of deal.
:I think in "Conception", that first paragraph about the cover is a bit too extensive. It takes away focus from the article a big deal, I feel, as it really goes into detail about a recording process of a mostly separated song/EP.
:Also a note from the Part Time Punks review that I'll add here as well, you could combine "Sources" and "References" into one "References" section (kind of like how I did in Yeah Yeah Yeahs (EP) ↗ or Meg White ↗, just find it more convenient to have it all in one place. So mostly, sorting things.
:Writing is absolutely perfect. That's about everything I initially thought! <span style="color: red;">Watagwaan? I really like the color red!</span> 02:04, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
:Understood. Ceoil (talk) 07:11, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
::Did you want me specifically to GA review it, or someone else @Ceoil? <span style="color: red;">Watagwaan? I really like the color red!</span> 18:38, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
