25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Binksternet. An edit that you recently made to :Murder trial of O. J. Simpson ↗ seemed to be generated using a large language model ↗ (an "AI chatbot ↗" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia ↗, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted ↗. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. :Hi, thank for your comment,
:If you will look at the source I cited, you'll notice that I mostly, rephrased the part of interest. I came to writing this part, since I am familiar with the material as a professional in the field. I urge you to de-revert the heading. If a further review is needed I will be happy to re-write this part. Wicko Peddlefoot (talk) 14:09, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
::I made a thorough revision of the text.
::I look forward to your comments. Wicko Peddlefoot (talk) 14:40, 10 September 2025 (UTC)

:::The material you added earlier was more appropriate to decision theory ↗ which is part of the thought process of jurors in court. The large amount of text you added was too peripheral for the OJ Simpson murder trial page, putting too much emphasis on one aspect of the case. Also, the first section was anchored only by an unsigned web page ↗, which cannot be a reliable source without a named author. That same analysis can be found in the Henk Tijms ↗ books ''Probability: A Lively Introduction'' on pages 71–73 ↗, and ''Understanding Probability'' on pages 273–275. ↗ Either of those books would be a reliable source.
:::Your analysis section should be broader, with less text devoted to Thagard. His ideas can be expressed in just two sentences. The section should refer to multiple scholars who have analyzed the trial, not just Thagard. Binksternet (talk) 14:51, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
::::Thank you for your comments.
::::I'll follow them Wicko Peddlefoot (talk) 06:15, 11 September 2025 (UTC)

Recent edit reversion

In this edit here ↗, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy ↗.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:44, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

25px ↗ Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to Spycraft: The Great Game ↗ have been removed because the citation you added was to another Wikipedia article or an external wiki ↗. As discussed at our policies on circular sourcing ↗ and self-published sources ↗, Wikipedia and other wikis should not be used in citations because they are not considered reliable sources ↗. You are welcome to re-add the information using a better reference, perhaps from the article you originally cited. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 08:21, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

Tax fraud schemes and detection ↗ moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Tax fraud schemes and detection ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because '''it needs more sources to establish notability''', '''it consists of machine-generated text''' and '''a lot of this sounds like WP:OR ↗ to me: sources for many of these definitions need to be properly identified, rather than statements presented as fact.'''.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page ↗.
