Hi,<br>
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election ↗. The Arbitration Committee ↗ is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process ↗. Junior Cup finals
Just a note to say thanks for improving the Cup final list and table additions. Sorry about the runners up totals, obviously I thought it was correct but to be honest I was doing it on the sly in work and didn't have time to check my total against the number of finals - should have done so later tho. And I thought I had done the correct dashes (and entered all the scores!!) but obviously missed that too.
The display in two columns doesn't look much better on my phone, have to say, but hopefully displays better on a monitor and definitely worth a try, I agree the original way was untidy and overly long.
Cheers again and sorry it was necessary to fix so much (and thanks for keeping the edit summaries polite, some scorn in my direction would definitely have been merited!) Crowsus (talk) 12:44, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
::Of course you're not encroaching, I made some additions but there were some oversights (quite a lot!) and you fixed them, that's the name of the game. Suppose you could rearrange the table, whatever you think, but I changed the type to sortable so it would be easy for people to look at the different lists anyway. Navboxes and categories
Hello, you may have noticed me reverting some recent changes to Highland League team articles that you made, so I just wanted to explain my reasons. Firstly, regarding navboxes at the end of articles: these are designed to hep navigation between ''the articles included in the navbox'', and should only be placed on those articles, and not on ''all'' related articles. So, the :Template:Football in Scotland ↗ navbox, which links to more general articles and doesn't include individual clubs, doesn't belong on individual club articles. Secondly, regarding categories, articles don't generally need to be placed in every possible category on the tree, but just on the most specific ones. For example, articles placed into :Category:Highland Football League teams ↗ don't need to be in :Category:Highland Football League ↗ as well, as the club category is a subcategory of the more general one. I hope this is of some help. Jellyman (talk) 12:24, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page ↗ to work toward making a version that represents consensus ↗ among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD ↗ for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard ↗ or seek dispute resolution ↗. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection ↗.
'''Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing ↗'''—especially if you violate the three-revert rule ↗, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts ↗ on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—'''even if you don't violate the three-revert rule'''—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.<!-- Template:uw-3rr -->--<span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva;font-size:10pt;color:#000000"> Toddy1 (talk)</span> 11:21, 11 March 2018 (UTC)

UEFA Super Cup
The Super Cup edits are made are in light of FIFA and UEFA recognition of member state successors and records belonging to contemporary leagues. The corrections were made also to be culturally aware and sensitive of post-Cold War politics in which many civilians disapprove of the past totalitarian legacies of the Cold War. Having Soviet and COld War era flags would not be a display of cultural competence and ignores the actuality of the recognition by FIFA of member state recognitions of honors and achievements.
UEFA Super Cup
The titles held by Kiev during the Soviet era should be counted in the Ukraine column since Dynamo Kiev is a Ukrainian club. However, we can add a footnote at the end to state that those finals were contested in the Soviet Era. Since the USSR is defunct and recognized by FIFA as such, we should respect it and make note. Snooker Masters Qualifying
Hi I don't really know if you are up to speed with Snooker. The World Seniors hold qualifying events each season where the winner gets a place at the main event at one of their signature tournaments. The Seniors Masters always has a Qualifying event, it was done differently this year due to covid. They bunched everything in together which was called Seniors QSchool. The UK Seniors received 4 places, the World Seniors Championship received two places. That is why they had no final and were not included. However the Seniors Masters had a straight run competition with a final. So can you add the win back to Darren Morgan's page ?. Regards. The way they describe QSchool is not like the QSchool on the main tour ok 92.251.209.218 ↗ (talk) 22:12, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
Scottish cup
Can you explain how adding in correct info counts as me vandalising a page? I am new to editing and only have done a few but I do try put the correct info. Other cups from different associations have tiers in brackets for teams. Now that Scotland has a connected league system for a lot of the smaller teams, except some juniors. I spent a lot of time checking my sources to get the correct numbers. <!-- Template:Unsigned --><span class="autosigned" style="font-size:85%;">— Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by Alb.fts (talk • contribs ↗) 00:58, 6 March 2021 (UTC)</span> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->
::Thanks for reply and clearing things up. Not sure what sort of stuff I can edit without a discussion but I can check in future if doing changes like that. Anyway the info is there if they decide to use or not. I know the leagues are listed at top of each round but with many of the leagues just being added to the pyramid, people may not be aware of the level of said team. I think it better shows off a surprise when you see e.g t6 team win vs higher one without having to refer to the leagues. Just my thoughts on it happy editing :D <!-- Template:Unsigned --><span class="autosigned" style="font-size:85%;">— Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by Alb.fts (talk • contribs ↗) 15:01, 6 March 2021 (UTC)</span> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->
Dinamo Zagreb,Hajduk Split,Red Star Belgrade,Partizan...
This is all teams from SFR Yugoslavia from 1945-1992 and after 1992 from Croatia and Serbia. You cant put flag of Croatia for Hajduk or Dinamo from 1984 or 1956 etc. That is incorrect. On Uefa cup or Champions League from 1991 or 1979 for Red Star Belgrade all put flag of Yugoslavia and delete if i put flag of Serbia. All results from 1945 to 1992 are Yugoslavia and then from 1992 are 6 different countries. <!-- Template:Unsigned --><span class="autosigned" style="font-size:85%;">— Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by VucoKralj (talk • contribs ↗) 21:49, 10 March 2021 (UTC)</span> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

30px|left|alt=Stop icon ↗ Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war ↗; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page ↗ to work toward making a version that represents consensus ↗ among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle ↗ for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard ↗ or seek dispute resolution ↗. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection ↗.
'''Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing ↗'''—especially if you violate the three-revert rule ↗, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts ↗ on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—'''even if you do not violate the three-revert rule'''—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.<!-- Template:uw-3rr --> <span class="nowrap">---'''CX Zoom'''(he/him)</span> <span class="nowrap">(let's talk|contribs ↗)</span> 17:05, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

:LOL - yes, it's got all the hallmarks of 'the Cheese'! The style of prose, the fans-eye view, certain words like 'streak' - even the 'need' to summarise every ball kicked by ICT - it's all there!
:But, it's such poorly written piece anyway - it simply has to go! But he'll be back!

your act
You have to explain exactly why and according to what law you deleted my edit? Let your reason be clear. Also, your tone is not appropriate. Sabotage means destruction and wrong information. While this was clearly not the case. It is absolutely correct that I added the numbers of the tournaments so that the reader can see them. Unfounded accusation is an example of impoliteness. <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">— Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by MHcc20 (talk • contribs ↗) 09:35, 9 September 2023 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Slow edit war on croissant ↗
Consider this to be the same as the warning above. You should discuss the France/Austria question on the talk page rather than occasionally changing it back with no edit summary, or with a summary that doesn't acknowledge the past discussion and apparent consensus. Republic of Ireland football stats
Hello there, I noticed that you reversed an edit that I made regarding the 1948 Summer Olympics football tournament. It is stated on the EU Football.com website that the team that took part in the tournament was made up of a selected league 11 and not the national team.I presume this is not well known. This website is great for all international teams and results. ~2025-32673-79 ↗ (talk) 13:53, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
I'm not going to converse with temporary accounts.
Your edits will be reverted. Woodlandscaley (talk) 14:04, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
May I ask why please ? I like to compile data and stats especially for international football and matches, and EU Football is probably the best site available.
You "like to compile data"?!
This is ''literally'' your first day on Wikipedia!
I said "I like to compile data and stats for international matches and football". I use my own site and edit matches and results during internationals

I'd be fine with replacing the block by a one-year topic ban ↗ narrowly prohibiting only the direct editing of the article "Croissant ↗" and nothing else, as a binding unblock condition ↗. The difference would be that your account isn't marked as "blocked" above the contribution list and in some user scripts ("strikethrough blocked users' names") during the ban. If you are interested in this modification, please let me know on my talk page or by writing "<code><nowiki>{{ping|ToBeFree}} ~~~~</nowiki></code>" in a message requesting the switch to a blockless ban here. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 11:09, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
:For the avoidance of doubt, violations of the ban would result in a limited-duration block from editing any page (sitewide 24-hour block minimum, possibly re-instatement of the partial block) and could be freely reverted by any user as described at {{slink|Wikipedia:Banning_policy#Edits_by_and_on_behalf_of_banned_and_blocked_editors}}. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 11:19, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
