Proposed deletion ↗ of :Vostok Europe ↗

left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗

The article :Vostok Europe ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>Not notable watch manufacturer, fails WP:NCORP ↗</blockquote>

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. Disambiguation link notification for October 17

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of mechanical keyboards ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Corsair ↗ ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/List_of_mechanical_keyboards check to confirm]&nbsp;|&nbsp;[//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/List_of_mechanical_keyboards?client=notify fix with Dab solver]). Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

Linking of Redhat OpenJDK to Adopt

The sense I get from Redhat's available downloads and migration guides is that they intend to support and develop RedHat OpenJDK on the server side. The windows clients they have available for download are restricted to "Development only" and intended for developers to use for writing against RHEL middleware (seemingly only provided to validate client and server differences from the Oracle OpenJDK implementation). That would indicate that intend to leave the client space to the Adopt OpenJDK project (which AdoptOpenJDK claims they sponsor and host). Thus, I would expect the linking to be as follows:
RedHat OpenJDK for Linux -> RHEL Repository downloads
RedHat OpenJDK for Windows -> https://developers.redhat.com/products/openjdk/download (for development only)
AdoptOpenJDK -> https://adoptopenjdk.net/

But the RedHat OpenJDK is not the same as the AdoptOpenJDK implementation - so the link from the RedHat OpenJDK for windows to AdoptOpenJDK seems incorrect. <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by Jeremyh3 (talkcontribs ↗) 21:58, 8 November 2019 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

References vs articles to support a claim

You've been around a long time, so I thought I'd drop you a line to explain why I reverted one of your edits to Dive computer ↗. The ''Manufacturers'' section has a maintenance template requesting more citations, so it's probably not a good idea to remove one of them. I do understand that most of the time, when we mention a company, we don't externally link to their website, and simply link to their article when it exists. However, that is to allow a reader to find out more about the company if they wish. That's a different concept from supplying a reference to support a claim. In the case where I reverted you, the reference was supporting the claim that HeinrichsWeikamp ↗ manufactures dive computers. Their own webpage is not an ideal source, of course, but generally we accept information that companies provide ''about themselves'', as long as it's not unduly promotional or self-serving. The conditions for using a self-published source are laid out at WP:ABOUTSELF ↗. Hope that helps. --RexxS (talk) 23:57, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

Comparison of TFTP software ↗ moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Comparison of TFTP software ↗, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable ↗, independent sources ↗. <small>(? ↗)</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability ↗ is of central importance ↗ on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace ↗ (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline ↗ and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

link=|25px|alt=Information icon ↗
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring ↗ regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring ↗. <!--Template:An3-notice--> Thank you.

30px|left|alt=Stop icon ↗ Your recent editing history at :CentOS ↗ shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war ↗; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page ↗ to work toward making a version that represents consensus ↗ among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle ↗ for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard ↗ or seek dispute resolution ↗. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection ↗.

'''Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing ↗'''&mdash;especially if you violate the three-revert rule ↗, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts ↗ on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring&mdash;'''even if you do not violate the three-revert rule'''&mdash;should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.<!-- Template:uw-3rr -->

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from :Zen (microarchitecture) ↗ into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing ↗ does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary ↗ at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking ↗ to the copied page, e.g., <code>copied content from <nowiki>page name ↗</nowiki>; see that page's history for attribution</code>. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-copying --> <span style="white-space: nowrap;">—Compassionate727&nbsp;(T·C ↗)</span> 13:24, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. I have noticed that you {{usertalk other|often ↗|often}} edit without using an edit summary ↗. Please do your best to '''always fill in the summary field'''. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences ↗. Disambiguation link notification for October 29

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ethernet over twisted pair ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cat 3 ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:57, 29 October 2025 (UTC)

External links

Hi there. I noticed that you deleted the official external link from the FreeBSD ↗ article because it is already contained in a template (I assume the infobox, as I cannot find it elsewhere). Note that the infobox should summarize what is in the text, not contrain additional info (despite the fact that many do so anyway). Third parties that take WP data may exclude infoboxes, navboxes, etc. from the articles, so data such as the official website link should remain in the text (in the External links section) to ensure it is still accessible for readers of those third-party documents. <span style="color: #8b4513;">Mind</span><span style="color: #ee8811;">matrix</span> ↗ 01:22, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
