Did you know ...
... that Colt Brennan ↗ led the country in passing yards and touchdowns in 2005 yet didn't earn make the All-WAC team? He got passed over for Paul Pinegar ↗ (who doesn't even have an article, unless I create it before you read this) and Jeff Rowe ↗. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 19:48, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
:Yes finally I've been waiting years for somebody to create Pinegars article lol.-- Yankees10 23:36, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
:... that since 2016, the Los Angeles Rams have only drafted players named Jared ↗ in the first round? <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 18:15, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
:... Matt Cassell ↗ is not the only QB to be drafted to the NFL without ever starting a game in college? Pat O'Hara ↗, also from USC, actually did it too. His article says "O'Hara holds the unique distinction as the only quarterback selected in modern draft history without ever being a starter in a collegiate game." (Cassel's article says he technically started a game at H-back ↗.) O'Hara wouldn't have been drafted nowadays though because the draft was longer back then. He was drafted in the 10th round, lol. (sorry if I've been annoying you with these messages but I keep finding interesting stuff on accident) <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 17:30, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
::Lol not annoying at all this stuff is interesting.-- Yankees10 22:38, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
:... that Aaron Garcia ↗, the Arena Football League's all-time leader in touchdown passes finished his career with 1336 (one away from being elite ↗). That might be the most Arena Football League thing ever. So close yet so far. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 00:30, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
::Here's another interesting bit of trivia that I think is in contention for the "most Arena Football League thing ever". In the calender year 2019 Tom Brady ↗ won Super Bowl LIII ↗. I'm writing an article Draft:Bill Thomas (pitcher) ↗ and can't find a death date for the subject. Can you help? He won 383 Minor League Baseball ↗ games including 35 in one year, and was barred from baseball for 2 years for alleged gambling. Thanks.Dafootballguy (talk) 23:50, 27 March 2026 (UTC)

Taking super senior to a new level
How are college football players regulary playing six, seven, or even eight years nowadays? It's ridiculous. Joe Fagnano ↗ has started multiple games at QB for seven straight years. Make it make sense. I know everyone got an extra year of eligibility due to COVID, but that still doesn't account for everything. He must have appealed for an extra year or two due to injury. When you google "eighth year senior", you see lots of stories. Ever since COVID, I think the NCAA has been handing out injury extension years like candy. It's crazy. There used to be limits to this stuff. Injury appeals and redshirts used to be harder to get back in the day. Transfers used to have to sit out a year too. 26-year olds shouldn't be playing college football dude. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 21:37, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
:Yeah I thought the farther we got from Covid this extra year shit would go away but its just gotten worst. Draft prospects are getting older and older and its not a good thing. Theres a reason why old dude prospects (Brandon Weeden ↗, Danny Watkins ↗) have sucked in the past because yeah no shit 25+ year olds are gonna do good against 18-21 year olds... The fact that Joey Aguilar ↗ is/was trying to get another year at Tennessee is a damn embarassment.-- Yankees10 22:10, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
::Bro, Aguilar never should have been allowed to play at Tennessee in the first place. He had a redshirt in 2019, COVID in 2020, played in ten games in 2021, started six games in 2022, started 13 games in 2023, and started 11 games in 2024. 10 years ago, none of those seasons would have qualified for a medical extension. He had significant playing time each and every year. And now the NCAA is giving players two or even three medical extensions. It's insane. They used to decline those most of the time. Now they get handed out like candy. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 22:24, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
:::Yup its insane silly bullshit.-- Yankees10 22:36, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
::::It's even worse than I thought. Cam McCormick ↗ was a ''ninth-year'' senior and Montana linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu was just granted his ninth year of eligibility ↗ by the NCAA. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 22:51, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::Chad Baker-Mazara ↗ is an example I've always found ridiculous in basketball too. Turned 26 in January facing one and done 18/19 year olds which is like the equivalent of being 30 in college football.-- Yankees10 23:00, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::That's just shameful. I'd be embarrased playing against kids like that. That basketball player's article brings up something else that annoys me about modern college sports. That guy has played at five colleges. I hate it how college football players can start at four different college in four consecutive years. Most people only used to play at one or two colleges. You couldn't transfer to whatever team you wanted to every year. Could you imagine if the NFL was like and no one had contracts, lol. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 23:14, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::Yeah all this shit ruins the enjoyment for me with college sports nowadays. I'll watch the CFP and the NCAA Tournament is still one of my favorite things to watch but I don't go out of my way to watch games every Saturday anymore-- Yankees10 23:25, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Not to mention that NIL has probably made college basketball worse. ~'''''<span style="color: #F90000;">EDDY</span>'' <sup>(<span style="color: Green;">talk</span>/<span style="color: Green;">contribs</span> ↗)</sup>'''~ 15:44, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

Hi Yankees10, I feel compelled to seek a dialogue with you here because your reversion https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nick_Foles&oldid=1349191989 ↗ of my edits to the Nick Foles article are inhibiting my ability to contribute to the encyclopedia. When I make an edit on article, and it gets undone, I like to follow up with the revision remover to seek clarity. I think that some of what I had edited, at least some of it, should be left alone. Can we clarify what the issues you had with them were so this can be worked out? <span style="font-family:Papyrus; color:black; font-style:bold; font-size:135%;">Ballardy</span> Talk Page 16:34, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

::Seriously dude, it's crazy. He's been a member of the most different NFL teams ever (14). And he could have been with even more if he would stop coming back to the same ones. He's had four separate stints with the 49ers, three stints with the Bengals, three with the Ravens, two with the Jets, and two with Washington. He's had 23 different stints in total with NFL teams (and 3 stints in other leagues). He's been in the NFL since Dubya was President. - I just fixed the claim that Josh Johnson was a member of an NFL-record 14 teams. That accolade goes to placekicker Shayne Graham ↗ (15 teams). The New York Times even incorrectly reported ↗ Josh Johnson's "record"? Like with the Ken Riley Hall of Fame thing, why am I the one that always has to fix this stuff?? - :Sorry to keep bugging you about this but even ''Guinness World Records ↗'' has it wrong: Most teams played for in an NFL career ↗: "The most teams played for in an NFL career is 14, achieved by Josh Johnson (USA) between 2009 and 2025."
- :He didn't play in games for 14 teams, only 7. Shayne Graham ↗ still has more overall teams at 15. According to this ESPN article ↗, Graham is tied with Tillie Voss ↗ for the most NFL teams played for with 10 (real games only). So either way you look at it, Graham should have the record, not Johnson. Although Johnson does have 12 active roster stints while Graham only has 11 (Guinness isn't counting it like that though)

Aaron Watson
Regarding this ↗, you did "leave it like that" for nine hours by the time I undid your edit. It's not about having "faith" in you coming back to finish it, it's about following BLP policies and citing sources. All of us are subject to these rules. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:52, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
:I was referring to not leaving it like that for days not a measly nine hours. I have a life outside of this website, notice I didn't edit at all over that timeframe. I only added Watson last night as a reminder for myself that I wanted to add him and didn't have time to do it last night. I'm well aware that sources are needed and don't need the reminder. I will refrain from doing this without them in the future.-- Yankees10 00:16, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
I think Josh Allen ↗'s rushing totals are inflated due to modern rules
Seriously, call me crazy, but if he was playing in 2005 I do not think he would have at least 500 rushing yards every year. It was more physical back then. He would get lit up if he was doing that stuff in 2005. He's not Michael Vick ↗. Vick had a 4.33 forty. Allen only had a 4.75. Heck, even J. P. Losman ↗ had a 4.69. Losman started all 16 games for the Bills in 2006 and only had 140 rushing yards. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 16:52, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
:I don't think you are far off. His game is based more on physicality than speed but he'd still be taking way more hits back in the day when they weren't calling every single hit on a QB a flag. A good amount of even athletic QB's didn't run nearly as much back then because the risk of injury just wasn't worth it. I feel like guys like McNabb, McNair and even Vick would have more rushing yards if they played today.-- Yankees10 22:32, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
::Bro, Vick would have like 1,000 yards every year if he played today. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 22:44, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Yeah absolutely. Until 2007 anyways....He was so damn fun to watch lol-- Yankees10 23:01, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
::::He was a God on Madden. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 11:55, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::It was the best. Gives me heavy nostalgia remembering those days but also makes me feel old lol.-- Yankees10 22:42, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
My pet peeve
Dude, I ''hate'' it when people change offensive tackles' positions to just "Tackle ↗". Tackle, to me, is an old-time two-way player: see :Category:American football tackles ↗. And there are also defensive tackles, so why do people just put tackle? Even for offensive "Guard"s, there are corresponding nose guard ↗s on defense.... <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 13:52, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
:Yup always thought so too. Like you whenever I see tackle alone I think of dudes from like the 1930's. Offensive/defensive needs to be stated.-- Yankees10 22:40, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
::I'd be happy to change them all if I knew it would stick but there are a significant amount of editors/readers who will change it back to "tackle".... Also did you see the message I sent you above about the CFL long snapper. <span style="color: blue">'''''~WikiOriginal-9~'''''</span> (<span style="color: blue">'''talk'''</span>) 12:09, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Haha no I missed that one that's hilarious. What a crazy fitting name lol.-- Yankees10 22:33, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

Ronald Acuna jr
quit editing the page. Every website and page you look up, says acuna is a world series champion. Stop dude RedHood07141996 (talk) 03:37, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
:I can help with this one. Acuña is technically not a World Series champion because he was not on the World Series roster for the team that won the championship. Bulldawg (talk) 03:52, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

Edits to references that are no longer active
Hi Yankees10, just wondering if you could please revert some edits to a few edits I made to some previous Wiki articles that had references to my website. Those links are no longer active and content has been delisted from my website. These are for the Damaso Garcia, Dave Winfield, Edwin Encarnacion, and Randy Johnson edits to old references. Thx! ~2026-38748-39 ↗ (talk) 03:38, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
:I don't know which edits you are referring to.-- Yankees10 05:32, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
