Hi Captain Galaxy! I'm one of the maintainers of the user script Cite Unseen ↗. I noticed you're the main contributor to WP:VG/S ↗, and I'd like to invite you to help maintain its counterpart page on Cite Unseen: m:Meta:Cite Unseen/sources/enVGS ↗.

Since you're already keeping WP:VG/S up to date, it would be tremendously helpful if you could mirror those updates to the Cite Unseen version as well. The format there is straightforward -- just a simple, readable syntax. Mirroring those updates right away would ensure both resources stay closely synchronized.

If you haven't tried Cite Unseen yet, I'd encourage you to give it a try. It's particularly useful for checking source reliability during GA/FA evaluations, and many reviewers are already using it.

Thanks for your contributions to my sandbox, but I had a concern, is the appearances section really that necessary? I mean the first section already summarizes the details about their plot and history, plus the sources are lacking (I don't wanna rely on Valnet sources that much). :I understand it might seem gruelling but the MOS for characters would require an appearance section as to show their use and evolution over time, and a bulleted list, whilst time-saving, wouldn't be as adequate as a written prose. Just saying that they first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3 doesn't reflect on their usage after the fact, especially considering you have mentioned some of their other appearances in both the concept and reception sections. A basic description on their roles and functions in their major appearances (both video games and other media) should suffice, that is why I divided their appearances between major and minor appearances in the section, to at least get their best appearances down (and if their minor ones don't have the sourcing you can just skip them). I double checked whether it should be used before I used (which technically isn't even true because it was cited before I even touched the article) and found that A) It only shouldn't be used for politics or when it is a paid piece (which I highly doubt is the latter case) per discussion on WP:RSN and B) It has been used on multiple FAs in the recent past without issue. But then again, what do I know, even with the best of intentions, I end up being in the wrong anyways. I don't think my opinion is going to matter so I am just going to be overruled anyways, so just do as you please. That's not a jab at anyone, I am just haven't been feeling good for a while. :I used Japanese websites as I thought the game would have a bit more discussion regarding its sales in Japan than it did in the west. Turns out Inside Games (a reliable source) did in fact cover it a decade ago. If you are curious, WP:VG/S ↗ has a list of reliable English and non-English sources for you to use on Wikipedia. Citing pantings

Your edit here ↗ is a bit unusual. The painting was cited appropriately as a work of art in the holding museum, not as a website. You appear to be using and interpreting the template usage literally to mean the author and date of the website itself, not the institution that holds the painting that is linked to a website. I believe formatting the citation to reflect the author and date of the painting is correct as the template isn't intended to be interpreted literally but rather to reflect the online link for the object. When I had seen the citation, I believed it to be the website that was being cited rather than the art itself as it was under the "Websites" subheading rather than the "Art and exhibition catalogs" subheading.
