:i’m not sure if you are the best person for this or not i don’t typically use Wikipedia for contributing or discussion. I had seen your name under almost for the Wikipedia page for industrial snow and i had witnessed a very strange weather occurrence on 7/3/26 at my place of work. I work in a wholesale food warehouse. The area i work in was experiencing a heatwave that is still ongoing on the east coast of the United States.
:The warehouse i work in has an issue with moisture getting into the ceiling which leaks out when it gets particularly hot outside. This manifests with leaks in refrigerated and frozen areas where water can turn into ice.
:The primary exit of the freezer leads into a refrigerated area which is set to stay at 39 degrees Fahrenheit. This refrigerated section exits out into the ambient section of the building which is essentially close to the same temperature that the local area is experiencing. In this case at about 1:00am that meant the area was incredibly hot and humid.
:The mechanical door that exits from the refrigeration to the ambient area had temporarily broken down and was stuck open. As a temporary fix until the door could be manually closed, the aforementioned door that leads into the freezer was kept open to offset the temperature change. Due to the humidity in the building and the temperature change this lead to the refrigerated and frozen areas to develop intense fog reminiscent of a cloud.
:with this combination of factors i witnessed the formation of snow crystals indoors at the entrance to the freezer that seemed to be forming near the fans that cool the area. It seemed like a bit of a rare phenomenon and i could not find a listed example of this exact situation occurring but the industrial snow page seemed similar but almost a reversal of what i witnessed.
:i apologize as i am not well informed on any scientifically related subject nor am i informed on the process of Wikipedia contributions. If you could do something useful with this information or point me in a direction that would be greatly appreciated. ~2026-38109-01 ↗ (talk) 12:13, 5 July 2026 (UTC)

Regarding Francois Letexier ↗
Hi @OpalYosutebito
I hope you're doing well. I'm writing because I noticed you applied the extended confirmed protection to François Letexier ↗ to stop the recent vandalism – thank you for that.
I've been looking through the edit history and I believe there is a strong case of sockpuppetry ↗ and logged-out socking ↗ that may warrant a formal SPI ↗. Here is the evidence I've gathered.
Blocked accounts
The first account is {{user|Maqaumat}}, which was blocked indefinitely on 8 July 2026 by {{admin|Materialscientist}} for "Clearly not here to build an encyclopedia". This account's userpage displays "JOY BANGLA FOREVER ❤️" and a Bangladesh flag, indicating a strong interest in Awami League–related politics. Maqaumat added fabricated claims that Letexier was "born into an Orthodox Jewish family" (diff ↗), added a false Holocaust narrative about his grandfather (diff ↗), and inappropriately added :Category:Jewish French sportspeople ↗ and other related categories.
The second account is {{user|Wafitauyan}}, which was blocked indefinitely on 9 July 2026 by {{admin|Favonian}} for "Issuing death threat directed at François Letexier". This account also vandalised the same page, including adding unsourced derogatory content. Its editing history shows extensive interest in Bangladeshi political topics such as Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis ↗, which overlaps directly with Maqaumat's stated political alignment.
Temporary (logged-out) accounts
Immediately after the above blocks, the following IP-based temporary accounts (usernames starting with
~2026-
) appeared and made identical disruptive edits to the same page on 9 July 2026. {{user|~2026-38801-85}} added "cheatah" (cheater) to the article at 13:59 (diff ↗). {{user|~2026-38775-78}} made two disruptive edits at 13:53 and 13:56, including undoing a legitimate revert (diff ↗). {{user|~2026-39068-73}} made a further disruptive edit at 14:01 (diff ↗).
The pattern
All accounts focused exclusively on François Letexier ↗ as their target. The behaviour is consistent across all of them – adding unsourced, pejorative, and false information to a biography of a living person ↗. Both Maqaumat and Wafitauyan show a distinct interest in Bangladeshi and Awami League topics. And crucially, the temporary accounts appeared within hours of the permanent blocks on Maqaumat and Wafitauyan.
This is a textbook case of sockpuppetry (Maqaumat and Wafitauyan being the same operator) combined with logged-out evasion (using temporary IP accounts to bypass the block).
Suggested next steps
I believe this warrants a formal filing at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations ↗. The evidence is strong enough that a CheckUser ↗ would likely confirm the connection. If you agree, I'm happy to help draft the SPI report with full diff links – just let me know. Alternatively, if you're already aware and have it under control, no worries at all – I just wanted to flag it in case it hadn't been noticed yet.
Thanks again for your work on protecting the page.

:Wait, I didn't apply ECP, since I don't have the ability to protect pages. I might've edited WP:RFPP ↗, though. Regardless, a sock puppet investigation would be great! :D - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat ↗』 04:53, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
