The categories ought to be ''automatically'' grouped together (unless you wanted that on purpose), and the <code><nowiki><references /></nowiki><nowiki>{{med-book-stub}}</nowiki></code> bit should have separated itself (assuming the visual editor touched that line, which it might not have). I'm not asking "What did you do wrong?!" but "How did the software fail you?" I know how to file bug reports if you've run into problems. WhatamIdoing (talk) 17:26, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
:::Ah, I see what you're saying. I don't recall having any issues while editing that particular article. I generally use the visual editor, although lately Safari has been glitching when editing categories using the visual editor or HotCat, so I may have made a manual mistake while adding categories using the source editor. Tapaha is not a woman, they are referred to time and again in sources as he/him or they/them. At the moment, the Arabic article appears to be pending / not fully visible as an accepted public version. Since this is the main Arabic article about the subject, I would be very grateful if you could help review it, integrate the current version properly, or guide me on the best way to make it stable and officially readable for everyone.

My goal is simply to have the Arabic page properly connected, accepted, and accessible to all readers, in the same way as the English and French pages.

Using the name of aggressor on page title

It seems to a convention to name the party that attacks a civilian facility, especially a university, directly in the page title.

: Hi there! I moved the article after looking at :Category:Airstrikes conducted by the United States ↗, in which the majority are named some variant of "(year) (location) strike/s”. But, as is clear from both that category and others, there doesn’t seem to be one specific convention for how we title articles on airstrikes (if we do have one, please let me know!). As for this article specifically, I have no problem including the belligerent country; I moved the article because the original title felt clunky. Alternatively, I’d have no issue moving Iranian strikes on the Weizmann Institute of Science ↗ to something like “2025 Weizmann Institute of Science airstrikes”. :) ForsythiaJo (talk) 00:56, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

Stage works v.s. literature and categorization



Just a note to be careful with live performance works when removing cats. Plays, musicals, operas, some ballets, etc. contain a literary component, but they are ''more'' than literature. They are also performative and visual works which are translated through stage movement, choreography, costumes, sets, and/or music. They may also contain ''improvisation'' in dialogue, movement, or music. In other words, they often do have a script or libretto, but that is only one part of a larger work. They are all literature (although sometimes not in the cases of improvisatory works that have no script), and they are more than literature. As such, they do belong in more than just the literary cats, because to classify them as only literature is to misclassify. They belong in the literary cats, but they also belong outside them. For example, a costume, set, and lighting designer in a play or a composer in a musical or opera might have something to say ''about race'' that is completely not literary but which is communicative to an audience viewing a play. Hence why :Category:Plays about race and ethnicity ↗ belongs in both :Category:Works about race and ethnicity ↗ and :Category:Literature about race and ethnicity ↗. Plays will merge visual arts, music, dance/movement, and literature into a single work. They can't only exist in a literature tree, but they shouldn't be excluded from the literature tree. Language assistance needed



Hi! I noticed you've written a lot of articles about peace activists so I thought you might be interested in contributing to the articles about Quakers that I've been writing, such as Khalil Totah ↗ and Jean Zaru ↗. While the articles have plenty of sources for establishing notability, I had to use exclusively English sources since I don't even know the Hebrew or Arabic alphabets and google translate for Hewbrew and Arabic is very poor quality. If you can supplement the articles with sources in additional languages, please add some - I really like to avoid presenting any exclusively English view of a subject matter. In addition, the lack of non-English sources gives the false impression that the subject is not well known outside of English press. I could not even confirm the Arabic spelling of Jean Zaru's name, so if you can find that to add it would help a lot.--CitationAuditor (talk) 12:57, 28 June 2026 (UTC)

:::That spelling was my initial guess, and if it's present in an Arabic-language source (I assume this ↗ is the snippet?) I'd say go with it, especially since it says the woman is a Palestinian Christian educator, which matches Zaru's description.
:::Breaking the name down, "جين" can be directly transliterated "j-ii-n" (phonetically the same as Jean or Gene), but Arabic doesn't write short vowels in standard texts, so it may also be used as a spelling of "Gina" or "Jane". The surname, "زارو", is "z-aa-r-uu", with two long vowels. Arabic only has three vowels, (a, i, u), so the "و" can also be transliterated as "o" depending on the dialect. I know he's not a woman but his article definitely needs some Arabic sources since he was so influential in Ramallah. Research question



I was doing a little formatting fix on Taysir Abu Saada ↗ and noticed the infobox said that he died on April 1 2026. However, this is not supported by any source and was added without any reference. I've looked for an obituary for him but could not find one. Can you do some Arabic research in case there is something I missed? He's a Palestinian Quaker archeologist who was the subject of a very long article in Bulletin of the American Society of Overseas Research ↗ (but it is paywalled) but I can't find much else about him, aside from a 1985 obituary on newspapers.com.
